“hen dealing direct they seem to loos my order if I buy through amazon there is no problem. The wool is of good quality but there are quite a few knots in it overall the goods are of acceptable quality and I still order all my wool from them”

“I was not really happy with this 4ply yarn. There was thinning in places which I managed to detect before it went through the needles on my knitting machine. When I finished the garments I was making the texture seemed more like a double knitting and the actual knitting wasn't completely smooth, so I have only given it 3 stars for that reason. Colours are good though.”

“Not the best quality yarn, but the price makes up for that. Knits up smoothly on a machine, and no knots found. A little thicker than my usual yarn.”

“It didn't I miss read a knitting pattern didn't realise they were on line only I don't have a printer so it was pointless they were a bit rude about it and wouldn't give a refund”

“i have been using/selling marriner wools for quite a while and am dissapointd when i come to place an order with you sometimes it is my customers that have asked me to order and you cannot supply. But on the plus side your wool goes along way and it is beautiful toknitwith.your quick response to sending the order is very good”

“Hi I have been ordering for a number of years now and always been happy but the last order I got I got 20 balls of violet which Iam disappointed with it .it is very thin and dosnt seam like double knit .all the other is fine it's just the violet. Thank you”

“Prices and delivery are good, but quality of the 4ply coned yarn is poor. The yarn is lumpy and split and sometimes broken throughout the cone. Several members of my knitting (Facebook group, so country wide) have made similar comments to mine. Two people have found a dark colour plied in with lighter colours on segments of the yarn. We used the cones for Machine Knitting so faults like the above are difficult to spot. Many people are not buying anymore. Would love to buy more, but not until the quality improves”

“I was very happy with the service and postage.My yarns looked great and colours that I expected. Disappointed with how it knits,very hard and difficult and quite a few knots in the yarn which I am not used to. Have been knitting for years but using bramwell yarns,I though I would try something different.any ideas how to make the knitting easier?”

“The yarn and quality are normally great for the price. I'm working with Fondant right now making a pair of baby booties, though, and the yarn keeps splitting apart. Something that normally take me an hour to make has run me 3 days now. I'm extremely frustrated to be honest. I guess I was unlucky enough to get a bad batch as all 5 skeins are doing it.”
