Rude, unhelpful staff. Tried to cancel multiple times, couldn’t get through on phone. Emailed and had replies offering oat milk etc, I made it very clear I just want to cancel, on multiple occasions. Then after months, they left milk again and now demanding I pay £1.90 as they don’t accept online cancellations. I will never use this company again. Avoid!

Thieves. They knocked on the door and told me they would be leaving a free bottle of milk to trial in case I then wanted to set up an account. Now they won’t stop delivering even though though they were not asked to do so.

The subscription system doesn't work, you cancel it or pause it they will still send you milk and charge you. The deliveries arrive probably 80% of the time, and they are terrible at taking responsibility for the 20%. They don't have a straightforward complaints procedure. If you challenge them on this or try to leave completely, they will harass you on the few quid they think is outstanding. The milk is somewhat average, nothing spectacular, good enough for my cappuccinos, and you will be paying a lot for it, just support the local store. A subscription for milk isn't something that makes a whole lot of sense. I was using them for well over a year I only had the issue when I paused the order before going on holiday, they still sent the milk out and charged me for it. I never turned the subscription back on due to these missing deliveries, and I've been harassed by them ever since. I'd steer clear. What others say about them going door to door basis is also valid, they lie to you.

Our milk gets delivered at 11pm, luckily we are awake so it’s not on the doorstep all night. The guy won’t come in the gate so dumps it over the gate in our plant pot! This week we got eggs delivered, we have a puppy who got them out of the plant pot and ate the lot before we could get to them. We were up when they got delivered, the bloke could have just knocked on the door so we were aware they had been delivered. Not happy with the service at all.

Great service. Good dairy products. Unfortunately due to cost of living I have had to cancel my orders and purchase in bulk that I can freeze. I might go back to them if cost of living balances out. All the best and thank you for 4 years delivery of my dairy products.

Signed up for twice weekly delivery of milk from a man who knocked at MY door. 3/4 months of milk, then one day none! I called and was told they don’t deliver to my address and shouldn’t have been set up ( and continued for 24+ deliveries!) No notice it was going to stop so I could prepare for Monday morning, a text hours AFTER it should have been delivered.. cheers!! Customer service so rude and unhelpful, no apology, only concerned with the £6.87 owed for milk before they stopped, that was not even due yet! Absolutely shocking service from this company!

Service is worse than poor. Can't cancel . When you try to cancel using your phone you are asked to press 4. You then end up in an endless queue Avoid this company.

They came knocking at my door completely unsolicited, a company I'd never heard of before, asking me to set up a direct debit with them. I told them I'd give them a chance so long as I could pay on receipt of an invoice and not through DD. The man at the door agreed I could do that. I've have never been badgered by a company in all my life like this outfit, they practically were demanding every day by phone that I set up a DD. In the end I cancelled with them and paid my account as per their invoice after talking to member of staff in their head office. Now they are demanding I pay them £2.39 for money owed ??? Do be aware of this company, give them a wide berth. I've never felt it necessary to write a review like this before, people need to know.

Bullies! An appalling experience, that seems to follow many of the stories below. My 80 yr old Mother took up a weeks trial, but a) the milk was in plastic cartons not glass ( defeating her reason to use a milkman) and b) the correct order arrived only for the first week, the following week only 1 of 3 cartons. So she cancelled by phone & was reassured the direct debit would be cancelled. She was then hounded by pressurising sales calls persuading her to try again for the next few weeks, followed by bullying calls threatening debt collectors for a £6 bill! The aggressive caller ( who I could not hear because the call centre was so loud) claimed she had never cancelled her direct debit and said they record all calls. She certainly did cancel but how can she prove this? She is now too scared to answer the phone from any 0330 number and doesn't know how to solve this. If McQueens can't solve it we'll be taking this to Trading Standards and Consumer Rights Groups. Has all the signs of a company going under Do not sign up for McQueens Dairies

After the first 3 bottles I never heard from them again. Had been advised was a trial run but no one showed any interest in contacting me so completely forgot about it until I got a letter in the post weeks later with threats to have a debt collection agency come after me unless I paid £3 I owed them? Flabbergasted with the experience, such a complete failure to communicate (lied saying they had tried to contact, no letters emails or calls which I can prove), and now this? Shameful, unprofessional and litigious, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Absolutely awful. Do NOT use this company. My first order was delivered to wrong house and when i eventually got the order it was all wrong. Phoned and complained and was told sorry. They advised they would resend milk I said no I didn’t want it. Low and behold next day got the milk. I cancelled everything and never heard anymore until recently (few months later) when I get email saying I owe them £2.69 and they would take me to court. Said they had tried to make contact. I had never heard from them. I emailed them and got no reply. I paid the petty £2.69 and still not heard anything. Please do not purchase from them they are amateurs and a disgraceful company.

Do not trust this company. They come to tour door. Offer you free milk and then say "if you like the milk, you can then set up an account". They then hound you and make threats to take further action on a 3 pound payment. Do not trust this company!

AVOID‼️ A worker came to my home asking if we wanted to trial one for free, they went asking all down my street,so i agreed just to try it out. He said that it will not be charged for and we will let them know if we want to continue. After looking at prices compared to supermarket/personal preference we decided not to bother to call and not to ask to proceed! For 3 weeks they had been delivering milk! We couldn’t even drink the milk as we was unaware it would be delivered and was found later on in the sunny days on the back doorstep out of sight!I had called twice, once the lady was rude because the call wasn’t connecting and hung up and didn’t call me back! then i called again and was speaking to a man,i was calling to say we didn’t want these deliveries and they need to stop and cancel. The man on the phone was nice to start with and then got “defensive” because i said we would prefer to buy it at a local super market! He questioned wouldn’t i rather support them? After repeating myself He then agreed to cancel but he said we have to pay an outstanding balance?! We didn’t want the milk! and we couldn’t even drink it after it’s been sat in the sun all day.He also let me know that if it wasn’t payed that they would be calling again.I would not recommend getting involved with them it’s a waste of time and more like a manipulative company! I would like to also add, they called me almost everyday multiple times! I work and have children, if i am not awnsering calls i’m sure it means i am not interested or busy so why keep repeatedly calling me.

Twice vsited by a salesman telling me McQueens were a local company. They are national so that is a lie. When I challenged the second one on this he became abusive. I told him I had my milk delivered by Waitrose and he said that I was putting money into the pockets of shareholders. When I pointed out that Waitrose had no shareholders he laughed and told me I was stupid! Couple of my neighbours signed up so every time they delivered I was woken up at 2 or 3am with a milk truck's noisy engine just below my bedroom window. Many complaints in my village of milk being mis-delivered. I had three pints on my doorstep once, not mine as I'm not a customer, and when I phoned to tell customer services they weren't at all bothered that someone in my village had obviously not had their milk. I'd give up milk rather than use this terrible company.

Trying to cancel as milk in this hot weather has been off by the time it's been lying on the doorstep for 8 hours, and being told the only way to cancel is to call between 8am and 5pm Mon-Fri. I can't do that as I work those hours so it's stalemate right now. Surely there must be the facility to either cancel online or have the person answering the contact emails do it at their end. I don't see the difference between that and a phone call. The difficulty doing this alone would make me not recommend them to anyone.

Started deliveries with McQueens because I was promised the service here was much better than at my old house 50 miles away. The Milk is delivered so early in the night that there is no chill left in the carton by morning. Upon calling to cancel I was offered a free trial of apple juice which I continued with, nobody told me how much the apple juice was so I was shocked when my next direct debit came out charging for milk and apple juice. Told them I wanted to cancel and as soon as he realised I wasn't budging all I got was that's it cancelled and hung up on so I certainly would not recommend ever trying this shower of cowboys.
