“Since McQueens took over from Speirs Dairies I havehad to constantly write an e mail to explain my difficulties. You would think it would be easy for delivery guy to understand what please put milk on top doorstep meant as I have mobility problems and am unable to reach milk from lower steps. As you can guess the milk is left on the lower steps. Poor service compared to Speirs.”

“Excellent sales spiel. Offer of trial milk delivery which I subsequently paid for. Impressed initially with customer service. However after complaining about delivery of milk at approx 2 am which was not in accordance with original information that delivery would be between 5 and 7 am. Complaint went against deaf ears. Milk is homogenised and safe to sit on doorstep for umpteen hours. After accepting cancellation I was then pressured to give my card details for McQueen's to retrieve payment for 2 pints milk that was not fit for purpose. I was informed I would be referred to debt collection if I did not comply. These bullying tactics are completely unacceptable and have left me very upset.”

“In our case, we have had a damaged 2ltre container of milk left on our doorstep for 2 weeks running. We are new customers and today was our 3rd delivery. Last week, when I collected the milk, I found the container had only 1 litre left in it, the rest had leaked out. I rang to report this and felt satisfied when told we wouldn't be charged. Again, this morning, my partner found our milk had almost leaked away. There is clearly some problem with the plastic containers which makes for unreliability. We have cancelled our D/D now and it's back to the supermarket for us. Such a shame as we liked to think we were supporting a co-operative.”

“Trying to cancel as milk in this hot weather has been off by the time it's been lying on the doorstep for 8 hours, and being told the only way to cancel is to call between 8am and 5pm Mon-Fri. I can't do that as I work those hours so it's stalemate right now. Surely there must be the facility to either cancel online or have the person answering the contact emails do it at their end. I don't see the difference between that and a phone call. The difficulty doing this alone would make me not recommend them to anyone.”

“Milk tastes good as you would expect. However the milkmen/delivery men I found pretty useless. Dropped off milk to early so it say out most of the night. On a few occasions it was left it in the flower bed for some unknown reason. Finally decided to cancel when in the middle of a heatwave I left the milk man a bucket full of ice in order to keep it fresh. The milkman with all his wisdom decided it would be best to leave the milk just next to the bucket! Can't recommend anyone use these guys.”

“I want to cancel my order and pay any balance. I have spent ages by email to say I want to CANCEL future delivery. So they say I need to call but I spent already 20 min to wait. I asked about bank details to pay and always say I need to call. I would like to say NO I DO NOT NEED TO CALL! the communication is horrible. TO book delivery was easy but to leave the company they push me to call and give me other offers but I JUST WANT TO SAY GOODBYE.”

“Ordered 2 ltr of milk but also asked if it could be 1 ltr cartons as that would be easier for me. Price went up fro.£1.99 to £3.52. wasnt told this. Very aggressive man on phone who actually told me off... lovely milk but poor customer service. Shame but wouldn't deal with them again. Paid up but cancelled future orders. Agree couldn't find out who was supplying their milk.”

“I will give 2 stars the gentleman that came to my front door was plesant enough but things didn't seem right I asked if the dairy cows were free roaming He gave me no response its difficult to get the truth from them I ordered the Orange juice in a glass bottle but it tastes like ordinary Orange you get from the shops The glass bottles are a lovely touch but not whats inside of them When they called me to say the payment had been declined I explained im not paid until next Thursday she didnt care After I pay of what I owe I will be searching for Dairies which give details on their Dairy cows and and their welfare and If they are free roaming The gentleman that came to my door was lovely but it fell apart with the company”
