The part was $16 which I could justify - I suppose. The clip should not have broken in the first place. I leave the remote clipped in the umbrella holder when I go to the green. When I went to retrieve it it simply popped off. The shipping was $17 for a bubble pak envelope - completely a rip-off!!!!!!

Customer service is virtually non-existent. Over a number of weeks I sent a number of emails requesting assistance first diagnosing the problem with my zip 5 then after I found the problem without help from MGI golf I sent emails requesting guidance on the correct replacement part. Emails went unanswered and the phone numbers indicated on the website did not work, continuously got a message "you have selected an invalid option" when the only options are number 1 or number 2. I ordered a gearbox described as appropriate on your website for the x3 or later models while a gearbox for the x5 is not an option on the gearbox page of GCI Golf.com. In the last year I have had to replace two MGI gearboxes, the quality of MGI gearboxes is poor. The chat option is totally inadequate and continually shows that no one is available to communicate with.

Easy to order, shipping was prompt and packaging allowed for pretty easy set up. The accessories seem a bit expensive for what you get, but otherwise MGI is great to deal with.

I really like my electric cart, but it did not come with a seat, so I ordered one from your website. When you click on the seat (in accessories), the seat photo does not show the horizontal mounting tubes, and the first photo I clicked on demonstrating the seat installed on a cart, shows it on a ZIP Navigator model, the model I purchased, (though it is impossible to see the horizontal mounting tube on that photo). On your webpage, the box titled "Caddy model" autopopulates "Ai series", but I never noticed that I had to change it because the series of photos I saw on that page made me think I had the correct seat. I suggest you change this website page and make it clear that the seats are different for the different models by changing the title "Caddy model" to "Choose model", and make it impossible to click "add to cart" until a model is chosen. I also suggest that you change the photos of the caddies with seats so they clearly show the different mounting tubes on the different models. I realize the error is mine, but my only defense is that I am 71 years old and not nearly as familiar with online ordering as younger generations. I was shocked to find out how much it cost to return the seat, so the combination of my return shipping, plus the cost of your shipping to receive the original seat plus the cost to ship the correct seat when it is in stock will nearly double the cost of the seat. I am very disappointed, but at my age, in the heat of summer, I definitely need the seat to permit me to walk and get the exercise. I do not want to have to resort to riding in carts.

I am not sure if the bag grips on the buggy are too far apart or if my Callaway bag is too short but the plastic block supplied by MGI and installed on mu ZipX3 solves the problem and I can throw away the block of wood I previously used.

MGI seems to be a great company, as far as I know at this point. I love all the products I have purchased so far. Everything so far is well made, and continues to give me good service. I haven't had any reason to contact the company, so I can't speak to the customer service at this point. That alone tells me they are a good company to deal with.

I am not impressed with their US service options. They are limited and not conveneintly located. On top of this their customer service department leaves something to be desired, as they don't always answer the phone and can take days if ever to get back to you.

I have had my zip navigator golf buggy for 4 years, its a fantastic product, that has made the game of golf so much easier.

Very helpful on parts line with good shipment / delivery time. I needed to replace and update my 12.5 axle. It was explained how to renew with 15mm axle and wheels including bracket changes. Great to deal with.

Good advice to change it, but I didn’t need the gearbox and axle assembly after a butt drive into a creek.😖 Removed original, inspected, left open to dry, reassembled and reinstalled. Over 50 miles after creek incident without any issues.
