“Customer service communications could be better on products not in stock. I have to e-mail to find out what is the hold up with my order. Description of products on your web site, need more information: example GAZ shocks size of normal and lowered shocks. Went to competing web site to find information. Regards Dan”

Hi Dan, I'm sorry to hear that you felt our communication is lacking. Was the part your ordered listed as out of stock when you placed your order, as we try our best to have current stock levels advising on the site with estimated new stock dates. Hi Thomas, This depends on stock levels, if an item is out of stock it may be one we manufacture ourselves or have to wait for new stock to be delivered from an external supplier, another factor that comes in to consideration is where your item is being shipped to, overseas shipping obviously takes a lot longer than shipping to the UK. “I compared prices for my front suspension components with a number of Mini spares traders and Mini Sport were the cheapest. I placed the order on-line on a Sunday, paid for 48 hour delivery and all of the items were delivered on the Tuesday. Quality of the items is first class. One happy customer!”

“Purchase went without any problems except for one glitch: I could not make any purchase as long as maintained my name (Dejan Davidovic) and address (Serbia) as a purchaser. The moment I changed the name of purchaser (Dragica Forster) and the address (Germany) being the same person to whom the goods should have been delivered - the purchase went through. In both cases the payment was to be made from Germany and not from Serbia. This experience I had only with Mini Sport, did not have one with Mini Spares and not with sellers from Germany, France etc.”

Hi Dejan, I'm sorry to hear of the trouble you experienced when placing your order however we've looked in to this for you and there is no apparent reason that Serbia shouldn't be a valid option, it is in the list of countries that we deliver to, I'm sorry I can only apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused you and I hope that this won't be an issue in the future. “While the product selection is quite good, the inability to know if an item is in stock or not through the website is frustrating. After order communication is non-existent and an order can sit for days/weeks/months without any customer communication. Even inquires on order status are responded with vague answers and non committal for dispatch. Long delays between order and delivery, with zero status communication from minisport is driving my business elsewhere. I own an eCommerce company, I'm well educated in this type of operation; Minisport is severely lacking in customer service / communications and loosing business because of it!”

Hi Todd, I'm sorry to hear that you had difficulty viewing stock levels on our site, there is a small colour indicator on the product page that informs the customer of our stock and also gives a new stock expected delivery date. I would like to apologise for the lack of communication received on the status of you order, this is an area we know we are lacking in and is something we are working on. We do however aim to be accurate with all our responses to the best of our knowledge, however when dealing with external suppliers, this is not always possible. I'd like to apologise once again for the poor experience you have had with Mini Sport and hope that should you choose us again you have a much better, possessive transaction. “dear miss,mrs,sir, The dilivered parts are OK , I made a small mistake in the number of lower arm rubbers I orderd , i needed 4 in stead of 2 , maybe you can add that info when the customer is ordering a set of two lower arms . kind regards Jan Maat”
