“They make thousands and hundreds of thousands of dollars for sending you leads that are absolutely of no value. They don't vet the lead at all send it to your company and charge you hundreds for each one. Not good for business, maybe they're good for the customers looking for contractor's but they're horrible for contractor's. Take a look at the difference in positive reviews and negative ones. Something is very off about them. The negative ones are detailed and explain what's wrong with Modernize while the positive are one word reviews....... seem fake to me!!!!!”

“BUSINESS OWNERS READ:: Came on here to read about this company after the horrible experience I had with a Rep Ryan. I wasn't wrong about how I felt, first 1 star on the top had the same guy's name in it with a similar experience. The guy will give you a call to onboard you, he will go ahead and ask all the questions about your company and how you guys operate. When you want to really find out what this is all about first and how the lead system they provide works he says they are simple questions you can answer very quickly if you have the experience. He will portray the situation as you need them more then they need you and you might not even qualify to work for them but will talk all the bad stuff about the other companies that operate better than him. When you ask for a supervisor he will refuse to pass you over to anyone else and refuse to do any business with you guys. The worst type of person you can have to represent your company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THIS GUY AT ANY COST!!”

“I had the unfortunate experience of working with the sales representative, Ryan, from Modernize. From the start, he was extremely rude and seemed more interested in asking invasive questions about my company rather than sharing information about his own business. His lack of transparency and unprofessional demeanor made it clear that we would not be doing any business together. I do not recommend working with Ryan or Modernize due to their poor customer service.”

“WON’T STOP CALLING ME called me at 8:04am. I decline the call. 20 minutes later they call Again. I decline again. 2 minutes after they call AGAIN!!! Would never want to do business with a company that’s constantly calling me.”

“Worthless. Tell your employees to do their job. No account support. Spent all day waiting for a call back from our account manager, who just ignored me all day. i could have gotten more leads from the yellow pages.”

“I am not sure if they work or not have to wait for a rain. Installed in winter in Wisconsin. This is a huge investment for a homeowner. Our salesperson oversold the product. He guaranteed we would not see the ice damning problems we had. It was his closing deal and a lie. The company did not back the customer that was blatantly lied to. I am in business and if a sales person lied about the expectation of the product we would in a heartbeat make it right. We were not asking for a refund but a discount on a very large investment. Beware of a company that has salespeople that would lie and do anything to get a sale. Worse a company that stands by the lie and does absoluetly nothing about it!”

“Businesses beware : This company sent out many "leads" that were not vetted in any way. Most of their leads were either phantom leads, bad phone numbers, or people not at all interested in the service that we advertise for as a business. Over the course of 1 month we received 1 confirmed lead(of 70) and Modernize refused to refund or credit any of the other fake and or bad leads.”

“They do not check their contractors worth a hoot. They connected me to Home Depot for windows and I got some ditz on the line that knew absolutely nothing. Would not sell me windows unless they came out and measured, even though I had original plans which showed window sizes. Took my business elsewhere.”

“Have been working with Modernize for almost 6 years. Wouldn't be doing it still if it didn't work. Seems like most people don't understand that this is a marketing program, which means it's not instant results. Give it time and follow their instructions!”

“I would give this company 0 stars if I could worst lead company I have ever used I really thought that would be hard to do against home advisor. Some how they are advertising or buying leads from a company that offers free work. I would not recommend this company if they gave you free leads total waste of time and money.”

“WORST LEAD COMPANY EVER! I am a contractor who tried this lead generation company. DO NOT DO IT,They sent me the worst leads I've ever had and when I tried to close my account with them,They would not give me deposit back and my account manager Terri would not answer my calls to close my account for over 3 weeks and just kept charging me for these terrible leads. Most of there leads are not screened so most people you call have no idea why you are calling them about any construction services....”

“This is what happens for anyone who asks for a quote. You will immediately get 4-5 non stop email requests. Then the phone starts ringing off the hook by 4-5 companies. Everyday every week for few months. Then starts again after they sell off your info as refurbished leads to other contractors. Trust me. I know. If your a contractor. Unless you got deep deep pockets and affiliated with national account good luck. You are on the bottom of the pole and will be sold refurbish old leads that are cold as cold call leads. You will dump thousands until you may find one serious customer. Good luck.”

“Don't waste your time to this company I've been trying to contact them to check the jobless they've done and no one get back to me. The window that replaced into my house is small than my frame since then I paid more electric than usual. I spend $15k for 4 window that is a RIP off job. If there is zero star for rating that will deserve them.”
