“I ordered my wife five dresses. Three of them weren't what she thought they were. I followed the instructions that Modlilly sent me. Their website says the once the "returned items" are at the refunding center, my account would show the refund in five days. That was several weeks ago. Modlilly has messaged me saying that they never received the dresses. I had a return label on them and they weren't returned to me. I know they have to be at some warehouse or else someone took them as their own. I sent the dresses back in the plastic bags that had the items' numbers on them. I now have received a message that they can't be found and suggest I contact the shipping company I sent them through. It was the United States Postal Service. I am now out of around $100 and going through chemo treatments and the cost of that, I am upset I threw that much money out and that Modlilly now has my money. I will never order another item from this company. I highly suggest anyone wanting to order from them, take a serious look at to what happened to me.”
“Oh my God they're trying to charge me $15 for shipping for one $35 swimsuit !!! and they keep saying I'll get two more coupons for shipping then!! I don't want two more coupons. I don't know if I'm ever gonna order again - at this rate I am not!!! I have gone back-and-forth and back-and-forth with Customer Service and they just act like they don't understand and then they just keep saying OK coupons we get you five dollar coupons ! which means they're gonna charge me $15 for three coupons for three orders. I'm only placing one order !!! oh my God. And in the meantime, I haven't gotten the bathing suit they haven't sent it because we've been going back-and-forth. I told him to just cancel it but they won't!!”
“I returned a swimsuit 2 weeks ago to get a different size. I know they received the swimsuit but have not received the larger size swimsuit. I have emailed them x3 with no response. There is not a phone # for customer service. Do not order anything from this company. They wasted no time in putting merchandise on my credit card !!!!”
“I ordered 2 bathing suits on June 9, both were supposedly in stock. I received 1 within a week. The second was supposed to ship July 1. It didn’t. I opened a case with PayPal and Modlily supplied the shipping information for the one I received so I lost. They lied. Now (July 25) Modlily is stating the second suit isn’t selling well so stocking will be delayed. They will not refund my money. They are THIEVES! STAY AWAY!!”

“Ordered a bathing suit on 7/11/2024, my checking account was charged 51.50 on 7/12/2024. Never received an order number or confirmation. Never received my item. It took several attempts to contact them with no response. I finally received a tracking number today and I should receive my order in the next days. If I don’t receive I will contact the Better Business Bureau. We will see”
“To all those who haven’t received their items from this company. Call your Bank or Credit Card institution and request a “charge back”. Tell them that you never received your product. The Bank or Credit Card company will refund you your money while they investigate the company. The more charge backs they get the better because they will decide to revoke the company’s ability to accept credit cards as a method of payment. Thank me later!!!! LJ”
“I returned 3 items totaling $82.94. All 3 were unworn and two of those unopened. Their 24 hr ship took 3+ weeks including me paying expedited shipping. These arrived too late for vacation. Then they “discounted” my return to $57.50 (see attached photo). At one point, they said they would credit me back $5.99 for return shipping which I had to pay for. Nothing in their return policy states they will Discount and keep any portion of a return that is made, and the tax that you paid on it. This is unlawful. After several emails, they refused to rectify and give me my full amount due me.”

Messaged them again - aaked to wait another 24 hours. All I wanted was a returns label to send the incorrect item back. Never received the dress and still waiting for return label.”
“Look out for deals that don't work when you get down to paying for your order.
Modlily offered a 4th item free if you order three items. I put 4 items in my cart but it never showed that one of the items was free so I removed 1 item (because I only wanted it if it was free). It took me forever to find a way to talk to them, which was only a live chat. I told them I wanted my free item and they responded that I had to buy two more items to get one free. It was an hour long conversation where I could not get them to send me my free item or cancel my order and try ordering again with their coupon. Neither was an option. I had to buy more items. They DO NOT honor their advertised coupon deals!!”
“If everything is fine you have no problems. If you need a refund good luck. This is my fifth call to get a defund on a product that was cancelled. All I get is the run around and no credit to my account. Very disappointed! Thus completely unacceptable.”
