I found 1 email in my junk email folder about a couple of payments that hadn’t came out by direct debit due to a clerical issue as this is a company van I never received any phone calls regarding this during this time so wasn’t even aware there was an issue upon discovering there email I phoned straight away to make payment and resolve the issue , I was informed that they would pursue court action and they had instructed another company to collect the vehicle which is a work van That’s my family’s livelihood even although I told piers the person I was dealing with that I could pay the amount in full at that time he wasn’t interested and I was informed there was nothing he could do which seems very strange that they would rather terminate an agreement and send debt collectors to collect a vehicle over a couple of missed payments that as soon as it came to my attention that there was even an issue I called straight away and could pay the full amount at that time to resolve the issue he also said they had been trying to call me ( we had received no calls) , at that time I requested a call back from a manager to try and resolve the issue and was told that I would receive a call within 48 hours , this is nearly 72 hours later still no call back from a manager to assist , still no idea what’s happening , my partner is 9 months pregnant and shouldn’t be having to worry about this unnecessary stress and worrying if my van is going to be taken away which is our only source of income have explained countless times that this situation has happened as an oversight in our companies accounts department and there are absolutely no issues whatsoever with regards to affordability or anything like that upon reading other customers reviews it seems this seems to be a recurring theme with this company and one person that seems to be mentioned in loads of these complaints is PIERS who just so happens to be the person that I had been dealing with , I have been told my van will be removed and there will be a court date pending a debt collection company has contacted me twice to arrange collection of the vehicle all over a missed payment that could have already been paid by now , have informed the company that I’m still waiting on a call back from a manager from moneybarn to resolve the issue and explained the full situation to them and that I don’t feel comfortable letting them take the vehicle when I have received no calls from the company prior to this never mind paperwork terminating the agreement , ABSOLUTE MADNESS !!!!! , I will also be seeking legal advice regarding this and if necessary contact the financial ombudsman to help resolve the issue all I have seen is negative reviews from people in the exact same situation and the company was fined 33 million pounds for the way they where conducting business you would think they would have learned there lesson .
I still have faith i will eventually get to talk to someone with a bit of sense in there head and get this simple issue resolved , I have been left no choice but to call moneybarn back to pursue a conversation with a manager to resolve the issue which I will do tomorrow morning and also raise a formal complaint with moneybarn about this matter , this review , emails etc have all been recorded from the outset , very strange situation to be left in with a company that i had put my trust in when buying a new vehicle Only 6 Months Ago , NOT HAPPY !!!!!!!”
“I have just been told my agreement has been terminated. When I was told it would be put on hold till the end of the month when I can pay. From the start of having this agreement I have nothing but trouble. Phone not being answered when they did phone me as I answered the phone was hung up. Just shocking they say there to help when covid hit emailed asking for a payment holiday. To eventually being told I had arrears because somebody didn't bother to read the emails and respond back. Half of the rears are the holiday payments away so really should only have half of what they are asking for. I wouldn't use them as far as I could throw them.”
“do not trust this company they had us a car delivered which was broke from day one in fact I have hundreds off messages to complain about this car from day one they sent some fake mechanic off there's to check the car out and we thought yes we m8ght get somewhere now no doggy as anyrh8ng 0.5 rating and then has the cheek to say it is our fault no alternative now trading standards be warned do not get finance off these doggy people no matter how desperate you are”

“16 Months into my complaint with Moneybarn they still fall short off what was requested via the Financial Ombudsman.
Moneybarn have no customer vaules what so ever after a long process with complaints the car was deemed faulty at point off sale therefore the ask was to return the Goods.
Moneybarn agreed to reject the vehicle not that they had much choice but in term when the vehicle was collected they sent there agents around to my home at 06:30AM and progressd to filming me very rude and unprofessional.
The collection company also did not inform me they were coming this company is an absolute mess.
The new finance I have with advantage finance show what customer service levels should be like. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Moneybarn still report adverse information to my credit file that was asked to be removed but again after 12 Emails it still remains in state.”

Kevin in the complaints teams has no idea how to deal with customers and his customer service is shocking.
The Company tries to get reports done from companies like ACE who are a 'external' inspection Company who are also a joke! The judge laughed at their reports because the tried to claim the issue in 'their professional opinion' wasn't present at the point of sale which was 4 weeks prior to writing the report... Professional is the last word I'd use to describe them..”
“NO CUSTOMER VAULES AT ALL AVOID
Moneybarn were asked By the Financial Ombudsman service to reject my vehicle and make arrangements to collect the Vehicle and return additional funds to myself and or remove any adverse credit information from my credit profile.
It has been 1 month since Moneybarn agreed to the Financial Ombudsmans findings. Further to this i have called into Moneybarn every other day and have been promised a call back within 48 Hours i have never been in receipt off a call back.
The Financial Ombudsman asked Moneybarn to get this complaint resolved within 4 weeks off receipt that Moneybarn agree to the findings.
I have not heard anything back and have been calling as a matter off urgency as i will soon be going away for 3 Months I'm sure somthing your agree would be beneficial to get the car back before i head away.
This matter needs to be resolved ASAP Moneybarn have not met there customer vaules on this occasion and have caused me and my Family no end off stress.

They are an inhumane company with no ethics nor morals, and do not care about the real world, nor real people, they have one goal, to prey on people that are vulnerable to extort as much money as they can from you and then your life means nothing to them, they own you, and will try and ruin your life for the long term, this is a company that will give you nightmares and sleepless nights and suicidal thoughts, but don’t bother sharing this with them as they 100% don’t care, it’s a case of your money or your life quite literally, it really is that simple for them! No reply to emails never get through on the phone i work 9 till 5.30 so office is closed when I finish work . Been told by Mia that shes forwarded my messages to the complaints team.im sick of hearing these excuses
I will go to court as advised by a solicitor as I will get a quicker response, my redress as discussed with FOS a plus compensation for the fact you don’t response and have put me in difficulty for 4years.. I’m not asking for a 2hour phone call just an email to get my bank details and my pay out. Just as you would if the shoe was on the other foot. Surely it’s a simple process now all the investigation has been done or isit because your in the wrong and don’t want to pay out so will drag it on as long as possible?

“Purchased a Van and the paint is peeling off after 3 months of purchasing and van needs a full respray now have spent months with no replies went to FOS and they told them they need to pay for respray and asked to get quotes over then told even though sent 3 similar ones they are too expensive. I now have a van not worth a penny with 3 years finance owed still and they are not even responding to FOS......Customer Service is something they need training in!!!!! “Absolutely discussing company , took a holiday break through covid , now there saying they want it all payed back before the agreement ends April 23 . So they want £700 a month , we can’t pay that I’ve done everything they have asked us to do but nothing is good enough, all they want is BLOOD 🩸 .
