I hope this company is closed down.Definitely do not do business with this company. I was scammed for more than 50,000 euros. Invested and I didnt get my money back together with the so-called profit.I have no choice but to involve an expert recovery company S_I_M_O_N_C_H .C_O_M and in no time they got all my funds back for me

They took money without permission. They have started using sly tactics. I have put in a claim to the ombudsman and they have informed me this is one of the worst banks for this.

Reported fraudulent activity on my account weeks ago. Have been left to chase them ever since. It's impossible to speak to anyone and the left hand bot doesn't know what the right one is doing. Awful customer service when things go wrong.

So I had been with monzo for roughly 5 years. Never an issue until recently. I switched accounts as noticed hidden fees and there’s no easy way of communicating with the bank. The on the day of my payday, I was paid into my monzo account but they closed the account 6 am that day. It’s now over a month later and they still have my wages. 4 times I rung and was told someone will give me an emergency call back. I was then told on my 5th attempt that it’s going through to the complaints team. I was given 14 days before I could get a final response which was today. After all the stress, grief and anxiety they’ve caused, they couldn’t review my complaint although I had sent identification like they required yesterday. I couldn’t not stress enough that this bank is not a good bank. They’re making a mockery out of people. I hope someone see this. I am vulnerable person, Ive got ADHD and I’m currently on antidepressants because monzo tipped my mental health upside down. Stay away from them.

No replies, my account was blocked without notice, and then it was cancelled. I had a credit card with Monzo, and they never sent payment instructions on how I should pay my balance since I don't have access to the bank app anymore. However, arrears have been raised due to this, and my credit score has been affected. I opened a complaint 8 months ago, and it has not been resolved yet. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS UNRELIABLE BANK.

Tried to transfer money from my Monzo Account to Cryto Exchange within my daily limits and was asked to justify where the funds came from, my annual income, provide wage slips, etc.... Very poor customer service

DONT OPEN A BUSINESS ACCOUNT WITH MONZO. First invoice for a new company was paid today. We were so happy yet MONZO for no reason whatsoever aren’t coming back to us to advise WHY THEY WONT LET US USE THESE FUNDS. They are so unprofessional. Been trying to resolve this from this morning and still no further forward. They Mis inform lie and are just not business like. Don’t touch them. We are moving account to NATWEST

For no apparent reason, Monzo decided to close my business account. My credit rating excellent, good positive bank balance. No explanation just closing date for business bank account. Luckily I have other business bank accounts so no issues. I pity anyone with no other bank business accounts the business would be stuck. I cannot recommend this unreliable bank!!

Fraudulent. Do not use. You will honestly regret it. I got paid yesterday, I tried to make a transaction they flagged as fraud. I explained it wasn’t, they have locked my entire account. I explained to them I have business travel so need access to my money, that I can’t afford to buy food without that money… they simply do not care. I have called and called to the point of tears and all I get is… we will look into this but can’t give a timeframe. They continue to just lock money up, clearly their system to protect against fraud does not work. How can they lock my entire account so I can’t access any money??? Crazy. I will take legal action against Monzo for the stress caused.

I’ve had Monzo for a long time. It markets itself as a current, relatable bank that is on the side on its customers. It is not. For the past two months I have been trying to get Monzo to uphold a dispute for a charge on my account where it was 100% clear that the supplier did not send the goods that I was charged for. I presented them with evidence, emails, and links to other people that had been scammed and their only response was: we can’t uphold it. When pushed for a reason they said the supplier didn’t accept the dispute. That’s it - no investigation or acknowledgment of the emails and proof I sent them ( they even went as far to say that I didn’t show proof when I literally had). It goes on. Customer service are useless - they send a lot of emojis but very little substance. If this had been any other bank this wouldn’t have happened. Stay away from Monzo if you want to be protected.

Fast forward to today, and it's painfully clear that they've fallen from grace, plunging into the bureaucratic abyss that many traditional banks dwell in. As a loyal customer of both personal and business accounts over the past six years, I am deeply disappointed and quite frankly outraged by their recent actions. The abrupt closure of my accounts without any explanation is the most glaring issue. Attempts to get a straightforward answer from their "Frontline" team are futile, met with endless cycles of "don't know" and "not sure." It's a far cry from the customer-centric approach that once defined Monzo. Their once-efficient chat service has become a source of frustration, characterized by very lengthy delays. The interactions feel insincere, with a veneer of empathy that hardly masks the underlying indifference. Waiting for a response has become a test of patience, challenging even the most understanding of customers. What happened to the Monzo that stood out from the crowd? It seems they've become just another bank, indistinct from the high street institutions they once aimed to surpass. Their pioneering spirit has been extinguished, replaced by a veil of secrecy and an over-reliance on rigid policies that seem to justify abrupt decisions like mine without proper explanation or accountability. It's truly disheartening. Monzo has transformed into a faceless entity, treating customers as mere numbers rather than individuals. They've joined the ranks of those financial giants who prioritize policy over people, leaving devoted customers bewildered and out in the cold. For anyone considering banking with Monzo, think twice. If you value clear communication and genuine customer care, you might find yourself disappointed. There are plenty of other financial institutions that can offer innovation without sacrificing reliability or customer satisfaction. Monzo, this is your wake-up call. We long for the dynamic, transparent bank you once were. It’s time to shed the bureaucratic layers and rekindle the commitment to customer service that set you apart. Until then, you’re just another bank that's lost its charm and lost a customer for life.

Stay away! They shut my business account and gave me no explanation causing me huge financial problems with missed payments and not being able to receive funds from customers. To top it off they take up to 4 weeks to give your money back to you! Absolutely disgusting! Do not choose Monzo!

Monzo it's not secure at all. If you make a payment to a company, Monzo allows that company to take more money off your card without asking for your permission and you might end up bankrupt.

Horrible horrible. I have been with Monzo since 2019 and it got worse and worse and worse. Completely useless. Paid of my monzo flex balance and closed the account. Tesco offers better rates now and Monzo’s ineffective and inexistent customer service can do one to say the least. Trash

Extremely poor customer service. I have been trying to speak or chat with anyone for the past 4 days but no one is responding. I’ve been getting notifications of payments which I didn’t approve myself. I have been trying to get in contact with anyone who works here but no one has been able to help.

Tried to open an account and thanks I did not. Monzo rejected my bank application without stating any reasons. At a time I could open bank accounts with other banks. I called customer service to understand, I thought maybe I filled some wrong information, I was told there is no way they can explain. I asked if I can talk to someone from management or transfer to another one from customer services as I wasn’t happy with this person answer. I was refused to be transferred. I asked for reference number for the call or complaint number I was also refused. The only information he gave was his name (Max rivers) . Now I really don’t want to open any account with Monzo .. very bad customer services.

I have £1800 of my money held up for no reason other that I have to wait 21 days because policy of Monzo suggests when the Merchant doesn't collect the money after cancellation, this is the process. 😡😡😡😡 Customer service absolutely shocking, rude and dismissive like I couldn't comprehend a 21 working days wait for my money to be released. 😡😡😡😡 How about Monzo recognise we're not about £18 but a significant amount of money that I will need before 21 days! I was really shocked, is that even legal? If you're thinking about taking out a Monzo account avoid, they have zero Customer service commitment. At the risk of having your money held up, choose another bank! Take it from my experience 😡😡😡😡😡😡 Closing account soon as I finally gey my money back

Good until the point of needing customer assistance then it is the worst I’ve experienced 😵 terrible support & protection if you get a bad merchant, fraud etc, & the platform is hopeless at customer service, they really do seem useless in that sense which is a real shame as it can be an enjoyable app too. I don’t trust for anything more then a travel card now, as it’s not worth the hassle dealing with their poor customer service process if anything goes wrong.
