“I won't ever shop at Morrisons again. Visited today to find the shelves stripped bare and NO sign of restrictions on the amount of goods customers could buy. Disgusting exploitation of the current Covid-19 scare and people's tendency to panic buy. By contrast, Aldi, just a few streets away, were restricting buyers to no more than four of any one product and I was able to buy what I needed.”
“I suppose I should say I am surprised but alas I cannot. Inspite of all the publicity about stopping bulk/panic buying I witnessed the following in the car park of the Dover store. A woman with the boot of her car open piled high with loo rolls and kitchen rolls. In her trolley she had a load more which she proceeded to unload. Having done so she went back in, got more and simply went to another checkout. There are no doubt many more doing exactly the same. How wicked and wrong!! She was about 60 ish. What about the elderly etc? Don't they matter? What happens when they cannot buy anything? Shame on anyone who shows their lack of care. It is truly shameful, selfish and beyond belief and understanding.”
“Tried morrisons almond milk the other day. I have two words for it! Absolutely disgusting! Now for the details. Apart from the fact that it curdled in tea and coffee, it tasted of chalk. Awful! Never again. Nothing like the original Alpro almond milk.
A word of advice morrisons, if you want to copy something, at least try and do half a decent job.”
“Absolutely appalling online shopping service, the phone battery went flat before the our call was answered so we haven't been able to speak to them yet.
We've been trying to place an online order for over 24 hours & we get as far as the payment authorisation screen which is just blank. Eventually our basket gets emptied with the goods marked out of stock & the delivery slot gets cancelled.
We eventually tried another card which worked but it's a card that we don't want to use as we have a card especially for shopping.
Therefore the one star rating still applies because the the online shopping screen didn't give any information, the bank said the problem wasn't with them & we couldn't get through to Morrisons to query the problem & still can't use the card that we want to use.”

Morrisons are taking incompetence to whole new level & they'll probably lose us as customers because we're now looking at Asda & Tesco. We've already bought our wine order from Aldi who do a next-day delivery service via a courier.”
“visited Morrisons, Woosehill this afternoon for a few bits for tonight. Got what i needed and went to self service checkout and last item checked (Razors) turned the red light on and the usual "assistance coming" on screen. I waited and waited but of course no one turned up even though some sort of employee (man in suit and glasses, Manager, Security, ?) was stood opposite me watching all this. Gave up after some minutes and walked out (minus shopping of course). Just have to go hungry tonight and go to a proper supermarket (Tesco) tomorrow.”
“ref:_00DD0ojDb._5003z258Z6U:
I will start by saying as a rule I love my morrisons store, food and staff. But back around the 24th Feb 20, I purchased a cheese and pickle sandwich filler, I used just that and nothing else on a tortilla wrap. As I was eating it I felt loads of grit, like eating sand in my mouth, I spat it out and found what I could only describe as a lump of soil with bits of grass there was black lumps of something in what I was eating . I rang straight away I got an email asking me to send detail of the packaging so that batch could be looked into and I presume removed off the shelves. I sent that email the same day, I heard nothing back, I went on to send 5 more emails asking why no one had been in touch, even just a sorry and thank you for reporting and confirm that batch would be taken off the shelves so nobody else would eat this contaminated food.
I ended up going in store where customer services kindly rang for me, they admitted not reading any of my 6 emails, the line was very bad and I think the lady said something about putting £5 on my more card.
I've since then wrote more emails (I have all the evidnce) and still nothing, I didn't want £5, I wanted action to be taken at the time this was reported. I've since wanted an apology and still to this day not even had that.
Totally disappointed and very annoyed that a complaint wasn't taken even a little bit seriously. I've been made to feel I was lying, I certainly am not .

“The Scarborough Morrison’s has to be the worst shop I’ve been to especially the fruit and veg counters, I picked up a lemon , soft and mouldy, apples 4 pack , one was bad, brown and bruised and then I looked at the tomatoes , soft and gone to mush and split , I don’t usual write reviews but just had to after this experience, I couldn’t believe just how bad it was , the rest of the shop not much better, untidy , empty shelves , will give Morrison’s a miss from now on”
“I have given three stars only because of their lovely checkout staff in the Dover store. Aldi would do well to take note of how to treat customers properly, even the offhand ones . Also the checkout supervisor Michelle, who is lovely and polite.”
“Really sad to see the rapid decline of this once great store. Hardly any fresh produce on display, empty shelves, and finding members of staff is a rarity. Salad bar always empty, never any cakes left in bakery.... Store in Bishop Auckland looks poorly managed.”
“I have rated Morrisons since I worked on M60 near Oldham, amazing. OMG how they have failed myself and so many more, read reviews. How can an amazing company go so wrong. Packing too much, we use too choose! Changing aisle's every other week. Moving from groceries too clothing, homeware. I have heard from an ex employee they employ ex Tesco, don't rate them at all. We choose to go into these stores each week and not 1 of these supermarkets care about the in store shopper, its all about on line. So if your really listening, or reading haha, never happens, STOP STOP MOVING ITEMS. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MORRISONS AMAZING BREAD, AND CHOICES!!!!🤔🤔🤔😣😣😣😥😥😥🤐🤐”
“Really poor, prices are not clearly displayed. Most of what I wanted to buy I didn't because I didn't know the price. Empty boxes on shelves. Management stand around chatting in fours. Staff generally looking unhappy”
“I’ve used all the online shopping apps and was silly enough to trust Morrison’s the one time I couldn’t go out and get shopping if the order didn’t turn up. I received an email the night before saying my payment was rejected; I checked my balance and there was enough? I couldn’t rebook the shopping online until two days time and couldn’t speak to an adviser until the morning. He explained that it wasn’t Morrison’s fault but when it’s a new payment card they regularly get banks asking to check it’s not a fraudulent payment. I said how do Morrison’s allow you to sign it off if they don’t do it online at the time because my shopping was just cancelled. Tesco and Sainsbury’s would ring you so you can still get your shopping. He just said there’s no way of Morrison’s doing this so if you ever get a payment/card security check on the account they just cancel the order!! Won’t be relying on them again. I’m stuck without shopping after surgery and have to wait until tomorrow for a different company to deliver me some shopping!!”
“Morrisons Dover. Can you believe this. Apart from all the other rip off prices, I came across this....Dairylea Cheese triangles 8 pack for £1. Dairylea Cheese triangles 16 pack for £2:50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, this is so outrageous it almost beggars belief. What sort of fools do they think we are.”
“I love Morrisons.Very good choice of everything. Especially meat fish and cheeses. However your potato salad is awful.Potato very hard and mayo far too watery had to throw away,However still one of my favourite supermarkets.”
“They honestly are awful Erith store Morrison's zero customer service, non appreciative, out of date products, really Horrendence security staff, went to Adas further up the road ..what a breath of fresh air ...a up beat, FUN place to shop. I no longer use Morrison's...theyre ungrateful to me for being a loyal customer I have been treated so badly by their security staff with false accusations and I've heard some really bad horror stories”
