“Its just not as good as it used to be , prices up , selection down , offers on Morrison's card getting less and less . Better than Tesco and Asda ....BUT we get our bargains from B&M ( a MUCH better store ) or Aldi . Morrison's are heading in the being crap direction quickly . Their own brands seem to disappear , now photography is being farmed out to Timpson's or something like that . Guess its the way the UK in general is going , rip off GT Britain volume 7.”
“Like most supermarkets they have no respect for the environment, they leave that responsibility to the customer. No thought is put into packaging except how convenient it is to put on to shelf fast, profit and efficiency comes first. I asked a manager if I could have the fresh fish I purchased placed in my own container, He asked "what kind of fish" duh!, same with he butcher dept was directed to prepacked chiller for steak and kidney. Its becoming virtually impossible to buy fruit and veg loose, clemintines in mesh bags that are unreyclable unbiogradable and a hazard to wildlife, bulk bags of veg and fruit in polybags which go off before use. swede's/turnup wrapped in cling film and already priced, is it too much for the staff to weigh them , Oh forgot, speed to get you through the till and part with your money, Morrisons call the fresh produce "The Market Street" there is nothing market like about that section. I will have to consider going to a proper market probably more inconvenient but know I am picking fresh food and helping the environment”
“Clean pleasant look of the store. Staff always friendly and attentive, needed to find gluten free stuff for my son, manager Paul went above and beyond to help. There is a cheaper store in bedford near by but because of customer experience I rather shop in Morrison.”
“Staff seem disillusioned not enough of them waited at butchery fo 10 mins before a manager told me to go to fish counter to get help. He bedding plants out in the sun were dieing through lack of water. Get the feeling no one's interested”
