“I live in Scotland so do most of my shopping with you online we are currently on holiday in Kendal and had a problem with a jacket that my wife bought recently. Just got in touch with the Kendal shop and they replaced it no questions asked. What fantastic customer service that is we will continue to support this great company and would certainly recommend brilliant customer service very very well done”

“Placed a next day order for a number of items for a walking holiday. One item was missing from the order. Requested a refund which was issued but only after I printed off, signed, scanned and returned a document. Requested a refund for my delivery charge but it was rejected and I was told my order had arrived the next day. I challenge this as my full order did not arrive. Refunding delivery would have been a nice gesture to apologise for the inconvenience and not receiving my order in full. Mountain Warehouse should realise a small amount to you would have made my happy and kept my custom.”

“I Placed an urgent order before we set off to holiday and paid £5.50 for next day delivery. I waited 3 days but nothing came. I ranged them and waited for 45 minutes before someone to picked up the phone and said ok your parcel is lost so we will refund you in 5 working days. This is my first experience with this company and surely will be the last. Very disappointing”

“Purchased from this company twice. On one order I had to return the products as I ordered the wrong g size . Mountain warehouse were really good. They responded to my calls and emails. They refunded me quickly. The products I kept were all good. High recommended.”

“Purchased a pair of Mountain Warehouse hiking boots 2 and a half years ago. These have now developed a 2.5 inch split of the leather from the sole. Phoned the store number from the receipt and told there was nothing they could do about it despite the severity f the fault with their own product in such a short time. Not impressed will avoid mountain warehouse in future.”

“Was in the livingston store and was not happy with how the manager speaks to his staff and the customers. He was treating his staff like they where a peace of trash no member is staff should be talk to like this and you could tell they where up set. And the way he spoke to customers am surprise the store makes any money with him there, he was a medium build guys shaved head about late 40 early 50s.”

“Needed a sleeping back for scheduled camping trip. Paid extra for express shipping (3-5 business days) over the standard 7-10 business days. Item originally scheduled to be delivered on the 5th business day but now is stating it will not be here until the 9th business day. It will not arrive in time for my trip, even though I paid extra to ensure it's arrival. A pointless purpose from a scam company who gladly took my extra shipping money and still shipped standard shipping. AVOID.”

“Supposedly waterproof extreme red label expensive hiking boots leaked at 3 rd time of wareing Not used for fording rivers just watching golf on a wet golf course Absolutely the worst £120 I have ever spent Won’t buy anything again from MW The grey bin is where these are going have saved the laces they may be usefull”

“Replaced a pair of child trainers. The replacement split from toe to heel within 4 weeks!! and this was only with intermittent usage. Mountain warehouse state NOT a manufacturer fault so no refund!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY you might as well throw your money away!!”

“No ethics, no customer service, quality poor. Started off with postage charged when it was meant to be free over the purchased amount. Then the wrong products were sent to me. Endless emails each taking 3+ days to get a reply to any communication. Then it would be just a one line message that meant I had to go back to them again for more information. I returned my products to them to be replaced. Mountain Warehouse deny getting them. Do not deal with this company. Nothing has been a good experience. Now I am in resolution trying to get my money refunded. STEER CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I have had bought 3 times from from MW. The quality on the coats is low. But so is the price. One of the items is value for money the others are junk. Two things are of real concern: 1) All the reviews on the web site are all good. My 2 star reveiw doesnt appear on the web site. It looks like they are filtering the content to take out the bad comments. 2) the returns policy is in name only. It is so hard to get a mistake fixed it clearly is company policy to make it difficult.”

“I bought a pair of Mountain Warehouse branded walking boots for over £100 - they had been lightly used and I noticed the stitching starting to come away from the sole and canvass (they are supposed to be waterproof). Despite being just 3 weeks over the 1 year anniversary of purchase I was offered no compensation / refund or exchange. Overall poor quality all round - not to be used again”

“They always have a so called sale on & lie about the normal/non sale price to make it seem like you are getting a good deal. They make out that their goods are outdoor gear but they are poor quality for the price. Hard to understand how they are still in business but I guess deceiving customers helps.”

“Ordered garden chairs on 6th May, cancelled then on 23rd May after waiting in & 4 phone calls. Took a further 4 & half weeks & more phone calls to get a refund. The staff are pleasant but give a different excuse every time. The system is inefficient & disorganised. Sorry I will not be shopping there again even though the garden chairs were exactly what I wanted.”
