My Hair UK (my-hair.uk) arranges FUE hair transplants, beard transplants and eyebrow transplants for patients across mainland UK. Surgery takes place at two clinics:

A named surgeon for every patient
Every patient has a named surgeon and can choose which surgeon treats them. Free in-person consultations with the surgeon are available to every patient before surgery, so you can meet your surgeon, ask questions and agree the plan face to face. The surgeon examines the scalp and donor area, designs the hairline, decides how many grafts are needed and where they are taken from, makes the recipient sites that set the angle and direction of the new hair, and leads the procedure on the day. Graft extraction and placement are carried out by an experienced surgical team under the surgeon's direction. The surgeon is clinically responsible for every procedure.

All five surgeons are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), and their registration can be checked on the GMC register. Between them they have performed more than 6,500 hair transplants.

What the surgeons treat
Most patients come to restore a receding hairline, rebuild the temples or fill a thinning crown, and these make up most of the surgeons' work. Hairlines are designed to suit the patient's age and to stay natural as they get older, allowing for further hair loss in the future. Planned densities are typically about 40 grafts per square centimetre at the hairline, 30 in the mid-scalp and 25 at the crown, adjusted to the donor supply. Dr Munir and Dr Mir are experienced beard transplant specialists, and the surgeons also carry out eyebrow transplants, treat Afro-textured hair and perform women's hair transplants. The method is FUE (follicular unit extraction), with shaven and unshaven options. My Hair UK does not offer FUT strip surgery, DHI or body-hair transplants.
Who is suitable
Not everyone with hair loss is a good candidate. The consultation looks at the cause and pattern of hair loss, the strength of the donor area, general health and medication, and whether the loss is still progressing. Younger patients whose hair loss has not stabilised are advised carefully, and medication such as finasteride or minoxidil may be discussed to protect existing hair. Patients who are not suitable, or whose expectations cannot be met, are told so honestly and are not booked for surgery.

Prices are fixed, published on the website and agreed in writing before surgery. Aftercare is included.

A 50% booking fee secures the surgery date and the balance is paid on the day. Payment can be made by bank transfer or debit or credit card (not American Express). Finance is not offered. Cancellation terms are set out in writing before any payment is taken.
Estimate your grafts and price
The website has an interactive 3D graft calculator at my-hair.uk/hair-transplant-graft-calculator. You adjust a rotatable 3D head to match your own hairline and crown, and it gives an instant estimate of the number of grafts and the matching price. The calculator was reviewed by one of the GMC-registered surgeons, and the final graft number is always confirmed by your surgeon at consultation.
The procedure and recovery
FUE is carried out under local anaesthetic, usually in a single day of around 6 to 8 hours, and patients go home the same day. Most people return to desk work after about a week. Transplanted hairs normally shed in the first few weeks, new growth starts at around 3 to 4 months, and the final result is usually seen at about 12 months.
Aftercare
Aftercare is included in the price and provided in the UK by the surgical team:
- all post-transplant medication is provided free of charge
- a dedicated patient portal with instructional videos from the surgeon for before and after the procedure
- written aftercare instructions
- monthly check-ins while the new hair grows
- free follow-up consultations with the surgeon at 6 and 12 months
If a concern comes up during recovery, such as swelling, redness or slow healing, the patient can be seen by the clinical team in the UK rather than having to travel abroad.
Optional PRP
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections are optional and are not required for a hair transplant. Patients who want PRP can add it on the day of surgery: £295 for one injection, or £695 for a course of three, with each injection spaced six weeks apart.
