Some of the meals are delicious! Some I did not care for. I feel the beef in most of the meals were tough. The chicken and turkey meals were tasty. I would like to see the cost of the meals lowered.

The food is good, some of the portions are way too big. It would be nice if there were more variety week to week. I see the same meals over and over. You have to do something about the packaging. It is frustrating having meals that are split open. They should lay flat in the box, even with the ice packs.

Overall, I feel that the quality is good and the flavor is tasty. I’m getting a bit bored of the same old options… Too many of them are spicy. I’m also concerned about microplastics.

I like the service and I love that everything is gluten free. The only issues I have are that the delivery date is a Thursday, the options start to feel repetitive, and we've had a number of issues with shippings delays and even received an empty box with no meals in it!

The food is good and is helpful in knowing exactly what you are eating in calories. My only complaint is after a couple of months you tire of the same menu options to choose from. Also, wish there were fish options.

The menu is varied with three sets of menus rotating on a three week schedule. The meals are very health conscious. However, I do have some concerns. The chicken meals are very tasty. Most of the meals taste bland and could use more seasoning. Also, I am "old fashioned" and would prefer to have my vegetables cooked a little longer. I think the price charged is about right.

Hi, Edwin— we always appreciate feedback from our customers! We actually have a four-week rotating menu with 30+ meal choices each! Our talented chefs are experts at making healthy taste amazing, but if you’d like to put your own spin on any given meal with some extra seasoning, or add a little more time to the micro to get your veggies just the way you like them, we encourage you to do that! Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

I wish we had more variety in the meals.Because some weeks seem to be a duplication of a previous week and we don't seem to have a lot of choices of fish. And some weeks we don't have breakfast choices. Other than eggs. And I wish we could get confirmation of our orders via our mobile phones as I don't have access to the computer and it is not easy to see which orders have been placed in advance. And emails are not giving the date of the Selections. It used to. Be much easier in the past and it is so confusing now. It isn't user friendly on mobile.

The meals are good. It would be great if they added more seasonal vegetables to their menu. Since they don't offer seafood, they could get more creative with their dishes. Different recipes, please. I skip a week or two because they have the same meals as the previous.

Meals are great. However they have switched to a local delivery service. My last order was not delivered and only by texting the delivery company that I had learned the shipment had been damaged. Metabolic Meals issued a credit without hesitation and I had to reorder. I realize that Metabolic Meals was not responsible for the damage, I think it would have been a token of good will to have offered an additional credit for the delay and the inconvenience of not having meals since that is my main food source now.

The food is great. There has been a consistent problem, however, with getting the food to me. It's been non-stop since I signed up in June. Even though the delivery issues are not Metabolic Meals' fault, I would have hoped by now they would have attempted to solve them. Switch delivery companies. Or give me the option to go to UPS and pick up the food. Do SOMETHING that allows me to get the food weekly before it spoils. I don't want to cancel because I love the product. And if not for this one thing (that has been consistent since the beginning), I would be giving a higher review.

Generally I like the meals and I could find meals that fit my plan. I wish the ordering process has some other features like saving filters and reminders of order deadlines.

Hi Doug! Thanks for your suggestion on filtering-- we're always looking to innovate for our customers with new ideas. If the weekly email reminders to order aren't giving you the nudge you're looking for, we also have a once-a-week SMS notification sent when the new menu launches. You're offering fewer and fewer options, especially ones that are also dairy free. So many of the recipes could easily be made dairy free with no change in flavor. I'm also really disappointed that you dropped the steaks.

I do like the metabolic meal plan to help me with my weight loss goals. I have been a client for over 5 years. My number 1 constructive criticism is that almost every meal contains a spicy/hot ingredient and I am unable to eat most of the meals. Even meals that traditionally do not contain anything spicy still have a spicy component, such as crushed red pepper flakes. I would strongly suggest that you make spicy ingredients optional or stop using crushed red pepper flakes on almost every meal. There are other ways of making a diet meal savoury, such as salt, garlic powder, adobo, and onions. The use of spicy/hot ingredients on almost every meal, every week, really limits the choices of meals I can consume. Most meals on any given week have one or more of the following ingredients: Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, Chipotle Puree, Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce, Poblano Peppers, Ancho Chilli, Pickapepper Sauce, Chilli Pepper, Hot Sauce, Ancho Chilli Powder, Red Pepper Flakes, Anaheim Chilli Pepper, Chipotle Pepper, Togarashi Pepper, Thai Chilli Sauce, Siracha, etc. Even if you just remove or make optional the Red Pepper Flakes and Crushed Red Pepper Flakes that would make a lot more meals not spicy/hot for those of us who cannot tolerate any amount of spiciness.
