was a victim of this scam, this company took my hard earned money, to be very honest it was not easy meeting different acclaimed recovery person for help to recover my money, as God may have it, I was lucky to meet Philip recovery 247 at writeme DT com (he's email). Who helped recover my lost funds in just 48, I almost thought I have lost it all until I met him. I personally recommend him to you.

Steer well clear!!!! after changing the original appointment they then sent an email confirming a total different time to that they had just asked to change it to and then after my 85yr old dad driving an hour to the property to meet the chap he just didn't arrive and when phoned the office couldn't locate him !!!. Realy strange .

Avoid. Every contractor booked 9am and every single one pushed back. Like I have time as a landlord to sit in vacant properties for hours waiting because their self employed workers want a lye in Appauling.

Absolute waist of time, booked an appointment with 2 weeks notice, revived a phone call on the Saturday afternoon before the Monday appointment saying the couldn't find a contractor to cover the appointment. They had 2 weeks to look but only started looking the Friday before a Monday appointment. It then turns out they don't cover our location despite the website saying they do. Shocking service avoid at all costs

Been ripped off left right and centre - missed appointments, cancelled appointments, workman stole my luxury vinyl tiles, one even complained that he wasn't paid enough and wanted an additional cash top up - some of their practices are illegal. I would not recommend them to any one.

We are gas engineers and we just received a call out of the blue, we’ll voice mail from this company asking us to put a job in the diary for Saturday at 09.00 for £50.00 to repair boiler in BR 5 area . We do not work for them never have so if you as a customer use them they do not actually book anyone in, they just leave message on contractors phone numbers and hope that someone will turn up .

Can't say I'm over impressed with this firm, we are over eighty years old, they left us without central heating for three and a half days in temperatures of -6 degrees. We eventually found a PLUMBER a good plumber by chance, I definitely not would not use this firm ever again. They are Full of worthless promises.

Please please do not use this company no matter what!!!! They provided an oven cleaner (Marc Goulla) that turned up half hour late and I had to contact him to see if he was even turning. Then used my polish chrome sink to clean oven bits in and has left scratches and marks Then tansy just pasted me on to a ticket were now I go back and forward with (Marc Goulla) trying to resolve the issue. Did try to upload photos but wouldn’t let me

Lack of Ethics I contracted with Myconstructor as an EPC contractor and I am very disappointed, therefore left this company as many other contractors did. So with this company as a contractor you pay an advertising fee (30% of the booking fee). I did a few EPC inspections jobs for their key clients and apparently these key clients did not pay Myconstructor. Myconstructor then decided to not pay me and charge me the 30% advertising fee plus VAT on top! On other occasions, the client cancelled the job, I promptly reported this to Myconstructor, but nevertheless I was charged the 30% advertising fee plus VAT. Laughable… After numerous calls with Winnie and Tansy, nothing happened, just empty promises but no pay. Now they decided to just ignore my emails. This tells a lot about this company’s lack of ethics. I personally spoke with another EPC assessor who also complained of payment issues and also left them. Even after I explicitly said to them not to give me anymore bookings until they pay me what they owed, I was still being booked for jobs and had landlords calling me asking why I did not show up! With these issues plus their not fit for purpose booking system, it is a 50/50 chance that contractors will turn up to Myconstructor jobs! Myconstructor has left me with no other choice but to take legal action to recover what is owed to me. I will be in touch ! Regards Daniel Pina

We booked them 1 week before the visit for a ECP certificate and paid in full. They cancelled the appointment 1 hour before they were supposed to visit. The customer services called and said they were sorry and that they would refund our fee They have not refunded us, are not answering our calls or emails.

I wish I read the google reviews and didn’t pay attention to company’s own review! A friend said they used it and they had a good experience but mine was a disaster, an EICR for £81 is a scam , the cost of two bedrooms house or flat is between £150-£200, this was a trap to fail the certificate and demand a remediation work that was not necessary. It is a total scam!!! Stay away from this website. This seems to be a group of people scamming customers and contractors who work for as I read other reviews ! My certificate passed by another electrician no remedial work needed a full test carried. I am glad I didn’t trust them to carry the remediation work and damage my property. My flat was built less than 6 years ago and electric certificate is valid for 10 years, new regulation means landlords need to do it every 5 years.

I wish I could give zero stars. Avoid at all cost. I have booked a boiler service with my constructor for £65. Appointment was booked for Monday. Assigned contractor messaged Sunday after 9pm he could not make it and wanted go do Thursday which did not suit me. I asked to do Wednesday but again he could not do it and started suggesting next week. Bear in mind my money has been paid already and long gone the deadline for my possibility to cancel on the website. I requested a cancellation on line. I got apology and promise that my refund would be back in my account 3-5 days. It has now been 8 days. I still have not had my money back and my email with a complaint/concern about my refund still not received, so far has gone without a response. It looks to me like a con and dishonest money rip off. They offer appointment and then past the deadline allowing cancelation they say they can't make it and then looks like they will try not to give yon the refund.

Was called to work for this company last minute. Advised of my cost. Did the work for them a few days later and was advised I’d be paid on the following Monday. Still no payment and they haven’t got back to me when I’ve emailed. Never ever again would I work for them. Total scammers

I used this company for an EPC in the Reading RG6 area. Joe McGuinness was the cheapest in the area, however he made 2 errors on the requested EPC and did not respond to voicemail or text messages (despite still being available for appointments) until I raised a complaint through MyConstructor. It took 2 weeks from first alerting him of the issue to getting the corrected certificate. Joe McGuinness has recent negative reviews from others who also commented on his lack of communication if the process wasn't right first time. I hope he learns from these reviews.

Booked for an EPC for 1130am (payment was pending in my account). No one turned up. I tried to contact the person via the online messenger service...got no reply. 1255am telephoned MyConstructor and got cut off twice. On third attempt got through and the call operator said she would contact the "professional" and get back to me. 1230am I received 2 emails stating the appointment was cancelled. Confused, I decided to look for another professional who could conduct the EPC, although this time I obtained someone directly., rather than through a third party site. At 1:30pm I received a call from MyConstructor claiming the "Professional" had Covid and couldn't attend (nice for him to let me know!!!). The call operator said she would get someone else, however I informed her that I'd already booked another company to do it. The payment still remained pending in my account at this point.....some time later the payment for the non-service got paid to MyConstructor. To add insult to injury, I got an email following this payment to state a refund would be given, although it may take up to 30 days!!!!
