“We are loving the bargain box!! As a busy mum, it is great knowing that dinner is sorted and I do not have to worry about what to make. We love the variety and have found that compared to grocery prices it is much more affordable to have delicious dinners. We look forward to dinner time and the kids now help and follow the clear instructions! Thank you for making it possible for me and my family to have wonderful dinners!”

“We have enjoyed the meals from Bargain Box and they have been excellent value and saved us considerable time and cost. Most recipes are easy to follow if you give yourself time. Sometimes the quantities have been more than would normally eat but overall we recommend them.”

“So handy to have meals for the week delivered straight to my door also cuts down the time I have to spend at the supermarket which is a big plus. The meals are delicious and makes it fun and easy trying new things.”

“I love not having the hassle of thinking about what to cook (and shop for) and the meals are really easy and simple. There is a bit much repetition or very similar meals but probably no more than we would repeat things from our own cooking plan.”

“Bargain box works well for our family. We generally order it fortnightly, at times upgrade to options with bigger portions or extra items. At times we rearrange the recipe to suit us on the day...e.g use the ingredients to make something else instead.”

“Bargain box is exactly what it says it is - A BARGAIN! Excellent price point, with a great selection of meals to choose from with quality ingredients. It definitely takes the stress out of planning our weekly dinners with the added bonus of nutritious meals. Would 100% recommend to all in Aotearoa!”

“I love the concept, but am finding many of the meals quite bland. I've just had a rotten lettuce for the second time. They're usually great at giving a small discount the following week if something's missing or rotten, but i haven't had replies for some complaints about damaged/off food. I'd prefer to not have the rotten food as I'm sick this week and can't just go out to drive and buy a replacement lettuce (this is the main part of the meal).”

“I'm really pleased with Bargain Box so far. It takes a huge mental load off when you don't have to plan meals or do a huge grocery shop weekly. I find the boxes are always packed thoughtfully and the ingredients are fresh and last throughout the week. We get a slightly bigger box and take the leftovers for lunch the next day which saves even more money.”

“I’m so impressed with my food bag! I brag to all my friends and family and anyone else I make contact with. So good to try different recipes, super fresh ingredients and all the hard work taken out of planning and preparing super tasty meals. So easy to cancel aswell if I’m away a week.”

“Using My Food Bag is working out well, we have a family, run a business and one of us works in employment, and having our meal options set out with all the ingredients saves us time not only in the cooking but also deciding what to eat. We often miss the deadline to choose our meals and would really appreciate a text & email reminder to choose the meals before the Sunday night deadline.”
