“Monday mornings are the highlight of isolation. As regular as a 1.00pm briefing by good Dr Blomfield, my food bag turns up. The “prepare tasty, varied, nutritious and immune system boosting meals” pressure switch is released. Bubble dwellers emerge from various caves to see whats in store for the week. Ohhs and ahhs fill the house. Thanks for making this lockdown a culinary treat My Food Bag. We love you ❤️”

“For the period of the Level 4 lockdown we’ve been enjoying the Classic 3 nights/4 people and we’ve appreciated very much the variety of flavours. Actually we are 2 people and we cook each recipe twice - just one dinner per week to cater for ourselves. We are of the age where we are told not to go to the supermarket and our fabulous meals have meant we barely have to!”

“We are a bubble of foodies, and despite having a wealth of cooking experience between us, we love the chance to try new ideas and ingredients we don’t always cook with. One of us is now eating and enjoying couscous. I am suddenly Abe to cook every steak perfectly. Our third member is constantly asked for recipes when she posts pictures of her leftovers on Instagram. “Recommended to me by my naturopath to make sure I stayed away from processed take away foods out of laziness. Makes dinner so much easier not having to shop and decide what to cook, plus recipes are easy to follow! And gives a great variety that I wouldn’t normally have in my diet because it stops me from cooking the same old thing every week. Any issues I’ve had (couple of missed items) were swiftly dealt with and recompensed for. Things are a bit tougher with the new extended delivery times due to lockdown, meaning I have to keep checking the doorstep to make sure it doesn’t sit out there all day and go off (have found the delivery texts are unreliable during lockdown too) but can only imagine the pressure the my food bag supply chain is under with such a swell in demand so that’s totally understandable (delivery all worked smoothly prior to Covid lockdown). Recommended!”

“I'm a good cook, and could make my own menus but I really like the way My Food Bag pairs things together to create something really interesting and tasty. For example the cumin rump steak with couscous was very tasty, and not what I would usually put together. Up until lock down I was especially delighted to have My Choice as my husband and I have very different tastes and this way I pleased both of us!”

For a few reasons: we've both lost weight, every night it's like eating at a restaurant as every meal is different, we're learning new ways of combining foods, our evening meals are all sorted for the week so our weekly shopping has reduced and we enjoy cooking the meals together.”

“My Food Bag has been a great way to try out new meal options that we normally wouldn't try at home. We have also picked up new cooking techniques that are fool-proof. We find that there is less stress having nutritional meals ready to fix after a long day at work. The Classic plan for 2 is perfect for us!”

“We have had my food bag for about 5 months and it’s fantastic!! We are eating more veggies than even I was making before. You guys have very satisfying low calorie/low carb and well thought out recipes. We really enjoy the variety of just having new dishes to make. We’ve done keto a lot in our lives and it feels really good to change that up to healthy carbs and get more in our diet. We also love the flavor pallet and eating smaller portions with the box for 2 per week. By proxy it’s heroism to da day less meat and cook even more at home, which we already were doing but this is better with not as much big meal cooking (I have a big family so I’m use to cooking lots for leftovers) we love the new ingredients we’re working with and I especially love all the fresh ginger and garlic. If I have any complaints at all is that we are not a fan of raw purple onions or any onions for that matter but I have altered recipes to adding a few more minutes to sautéed and cook them instead, if they didn’t specify it already. Cooked onions have a better flavor to us in dishes. I also tend to double some of the salt, seasoning or add a little of my own spices where it says lightly season some recipes. I would also say some of the topping and dressing packs or sauces you put on at the end could be doubled in amount as sometimes the salad mixed dishes could use just a bit more dressing. Thank you so very much for the excellent standard of your boxes, the food had never been any less than excellent, fresh ingredients are always at their peak and excellent packaging and delivery service. We love the text notifications and how well packed the boxes are with ice packs and how clean and organized it is. We are so very grateful for your services in this difficult time and are glad to keep to a healthy way of eating while being in lock down. Thank you so much! “Great product , my only comment is on occasion I have received ingredients that have not been so fresh ie one week our fish was not very fresh and , garlic Which has dried up but over all enjoy the new ideas for meals highly recommend.”
