Definitely the worst uk courier. Ive had several parcels delivered during the past month three of them via hermes and two of those have for some unknown reason (and without any kind of apology) been very much delayed. I will in future be asking my suppliers to use couriers orher than hermes even if that means paying more zo that i can receive my items on time. Hermes clearly need to get their act together. I will never send a parcel via hermes.

Worst service. I have a parcel missing. Says it’s delivered. The picture showing saying it’s delivered is a picture of a pavement. Really? No I can’t get hold of anyone who knows where my parcel is.

Bunch of thrives Makes me sick! Posted a phone to later find out a reprint at their Enfield hub! Meaning a scumbag Had opened parcel stolen the phone and sent on something different. Ian Mellor (customer service manager) refuses To help by looking into theft or even giving a refund! It’s disgusting. The managers are steeling parcels. All covering each other’s backs. Parasites!

They will not deliver to my address which is a road and everyone else drives up and down daily. The drivers say that the road is not drivable. You can never get to talk to any or change address. So it's a fight to get money back from companies I buy from. They should not except the contract if they won't deliver

Hermes you have now made it 7 out of 9 times that our delivery goes to the wrong Church Road. What a complete failure especially after I have complained every time and you say we will get it noted for that area. How hard is it to read an address, there is loads of church roads around but if the drivers read the area then they will know where to go. that is if they can read properly. I will be publishing this as much as possible and trying the main papers.

So pleased reviews.io do not allow fake reviews and alter scores like Trustpilot. Hermes is terrible, the worst courier service in the UK by a mile, no one has a good word to say about them. They're always late, their couriers steal parcels, and they cancel on the day all the time.

Worst service ever. Ordered a Christmas present for my granddaughter on 18 December- 3 day delivery promised. Parcel still has not been delivered. Tried to track it and even downloaded the app, but the last ‘update’ was on 21 December apologising for the delay. No update since then and it’s impossible to speak to a real person as the robotic voices keep telling me the same update that was posted on 21 December so still don’t know where parcel is. My granddaughter who is 5 was waiting patiently for her present which still has not been delivered, so no gift from me on Christmas Day. The parcel should have been delivered by 22 December at the latest.

Just dreadful - Essentially there is no customer services facility, just an automated answering machine and a short movie clip that suggest at some point that it will be possible to speak to a real person but this is not the case. Tracking number 5612084759062810

I bought a delivery service throughout parcel hero and using Hermes, I can't believe such an awful company continue to survive. I won't ever be using them again after realising how impossible it is to even try and talk/email someone.my parcel is at the national depot to sort it out and not yep update anything for a week.

This has to be my worst buying experience in my long life! I bought an item that was posted to me from the Netherlands. It was sent by tracked delivery by Post.Nl and everything went well until Hermes got hold of it. They informed me that they had received the parcel on 23rd November and the next day it was 'out for delivery'. On the same day they notified me that the parcel couldn't be delivered because the address was incorrect. Somebody at Hermes had apparently noted my address only as XXMain Road followed by the city name and postcode. The full address was shown in very easy to see printed letters on top of the box, but this was obviously ignored. I spoke to a woman who use to deliver for this lot and told her my problem and she commented that this had in the past been mentioned to a supervisor who said 'the drivers wouldn't take any notice of that.' The sender in the Netherlands was apparently also told incorrect address' because he emailed me and sent me a picture of the very clearly printed address details which were totally correct. On their 'tracking' page they asked for further information that might enable them to find my address. I emailed them on the same day and told them my address (which was anyway correct on the package) and added extra details that would enable the delivery driver to deliver the parcel. On the same day I received an email from Hermes saying that the matter was being dealt with by 'Chelsea' and I was not to contact them further as she would be 'unable to reply' and I must await the outcome. On 30th November I received a communication saying in large letters 'WE'VE GOT IT!' Great I thought, only to read on the same page: 'your parcel is now on its way back to the sender' (in the Netherlands). As the package was supposedly held in their local depot, I could have driven there to collect it personally, but there was no way to contact them, no way to email them and receive a reply and no telephones manned by people. Fortunately, on 11th December the sender emailed to say that the package had been returned and he then sent it to me again, this time by DHL at a cost of 60 euros. When I told the delivery driver the story, he evinced no surprise whatsoever and merely said: 'Well, you get what you pay for.' From now on though, on anything I order from any supplier, I'll ask how the item is being sent and if they mention Hermes they'll either agree to send it by a reliable courier or I'll cancel the order. This lot ought to be investigated by Trading Standards or some other body with power and face heavy fines for the kind of performance they so frequently put in and, if that doesn't work, be forced out of business.

Absolute disgusting service!! Claim to have attempted delivery for three days in a row, but I was home the whole time and no one came!! These were xmas gifts. Now xmas is completely ruined!

Avoid like the plague! Today my mother was informed by a Hermes customer service representative that £350 worth of Christmas presents that she had posted on 14th December to family (including presents for her 6 year old granddaughter, who she hasn’t seen since March) are ‘lost’. The customer service representative couldn’t have sounded less interested if he’d tried and could only say ‘they’re gone’ and ‘well it’s not my fault’. I don’t believe that Hermes have made any attempt to locate the package and my mother has been offered a measly £20 to compensate for goods to the value of £350. I’m crossing my fingers that the package will still arrive and will be pursuing the matter if it doesn’t . Hearing your 66 year old mother crying her eyes out over the phone on Christmas Eve because the presents she bought with her pension have been ‘lost’ by Hermes was a deeply unpleasant and upsetting experience. Shame on you Hermes, the way you treat your customers is appalling!

Told package would be collected; having paid, waiting in all day but no one turn up to collect. Rubbish customer service will never use again and will suggest that others do the same. There online support Holly is a waste of space told I will have to wait 2-3 days for response. No service will sue for refund

Parcel not arrived. Chatted with "Holly" on line twice but no one has contacted me to let me know where my parcel is. Dreadful company and useless customer service. Like other reviewers a Christmas present short now due to this incompetent crew.

What a complete bunch of morons. Supposedly being delivered in 24 hours for the last 7 days. Customer service! What service!! The idiots don't deserve to have a business. They certainly don't care about their customers and the fact you are always referred to the retailer says a lot. If I EVER come across a retailer using these clowns I won't use them. This was the only Christmas present I was going to get in a year where I lost my mum. Thanks Hermes for making it the worst Christmas ever!!!!

hermes must have a big pile of undelivered parcels,as I have 2 tracked as delivered,but I have not received. or maybe they have been stolen.
