“My family's been a long standing customer of Namco, we've bought 3 pools so when I had to replace my pool there wasn't a question I was using Namco to purchase and install. I dealt with Steve Palaski, he was very easy to talk to and communicate with either phone or email. Steve made the process extremely easy, he sent me pictures of the pool in the showroom which helped a lot since there's no showrooms anymore in RI. We connected on the phone to discuss install timeline, put together a package that worked for me and done deal! A+ experience. Thanks to again Steve. “I went to the Poughkeepsie location to get a pool cover. They didn't have one in my size but ordered it and had it shipped to me with no shipping cost.”
“Delivery was two weeks late and the hot tub arrived with a defective motor. The salesman who sold the hot tub refused to take ownership of the situation and it was nearly three weeks before a technician arrived to repair the motor. The jacuzzi leaked up to 6 inches per day and it took another two weeks before a technical was sent to fix the leak. Very disappointed with the purchase of the jacuzzi from Namco and cannot recommend Namco Orange. The sales and service arms do not seem to communicate and nobody would own the issue.”
“The experience of buying the pool was fine, but they left out important information regarding what we would need to hook up a heater, and the additional expense of everything was unexpected.
The people who came to deliver the pool, did damage to my private property and my landscaping and I called to report it, and the person who I spoke to said they were going to open a claim, but I never heard anything about it.
The people who came to install the pool were very unprofessional. They were smoking on my property and threw their cigarette butts in my yard. And they left behind eight empty drink bottles. They also were arguing and swearing at each other often on throughout the day.
I call to report this as an issue, and I was told that I was gonna hear back from someone and I never did.
It was clear to me that Namco cares about making the sale, but not about its customer satisfaction regarding delivery or install.
I wish I went to seasonal specialty stores.”
“My Namco experience was the best I had in a long time. It was primarily due to Kira Peters who is a superb salesperson. Prior to retirement I was in sales and can easily notice potential in a person who is in a sales position. Kira is a star and I hope Namco recognizes that and uses her to her full potential.”
