The workshop/seminar was very informative, covering a great deal of material in a day. This is the first time I have done this virtually and it was good to have the timer, breaks, etc. throughout.

I have attended and spoken at many NBI seminars/webinars. As an attendee, the topics are timely and relevant and the speakers are knowledgeable. As a speaker, the coordinators and moderators are pleasant and good at their job. Personally, I like the discount coupons that are issued from time to time. All those CLE's cost money! Highly recommended.

The NBI courses rarely offer specific motions/orders, I really needed this as a new attorney in the state. These are helpful in CLE, and the course books NBI provides rarely offer them, if ever. Instead the materials/power points are more like law review articles—generally not helpful in active practice. With the high price of the yearly subscription, I would have rather spent my money on specific courses in my state that offered more guidance on state motion practice. I did appreciate the ease of taking a course and your quick response to get the credit to that state board.

The connections to the webinar were not explained at all. The good news is that after 40 minutes on hold to get help I finally got in and the the speakers and materials were actually pretty darn good. The person I finally reached at NBI was helpful and told me you were changing platforms. I wished you had done so prior to my webinar.

I was unable to attend the CLE I signed up for due to problems with the platform you were using, Adobe Connect. I had downloaded the program a few days ahead of time but when I tried to log on for the CLE, it kept telling me I had to do updates. There several times I tried to do the update, and even deleted and reinstalled the program, and was still unable to get it to work. I was on the phone with your reps twice and neither of them could get it to work either. I even had my company's IT guy working on it and he was unsuccessful. It was very frustrating and disappointing, as I was really looking forward to attending this particular conference. I ended up having to take the option of moving to the video OnDemand, but this will apparently take a few weeks before I will be able to watch it. Your reps informed me that you have been having a lot of problems with that platform and as of today have switched to a new one. I do appreciate the reps I talked to, they were very patient with the situation and tried to help the best they could.

While NBI offers great live courses, it NEVER hosts live CLE's in my home city of Great Falls, MT, which is the 3rd largest city in MT with a large local bar. NBI hosts live CLE's in every major MT city but Great Falls. I am forced to travel all over the state if I want to attend a live CLE from NBI. That is disappointing and a disservice to our local bar members.

Love these classes. Due to COVID our CLE program provided by our board of overseers is only, but limiting in terms of when I could take online classes. NBI has been great by offering so many options and so many useful classes.

I run the Senior Law Project for Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans. We're non profit and provide free legal services to the rural seniors. Almost daily I run into issues like the one's discussed in this presentation. This was extremely informative, if not to confirm for me that I'm making the correct decisions

The seminar was very thorough although many sections were still skipped which was disappointing, particularly if you signed up to specifically learn more about those topic areas. Most of the trainers were good presenters, elaborating on the slides and providing real world examples. The first presenter, however, simply read each slide which is a waste of time. I would definitely take another NBI course and suggest their training to others. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated NOT to suddenly have a deluge of NBI emails every day after the training.

NBI does a fine job with the scheduling and topic selections of its live webcasts. Remote faculty (WFH) may become a norm. If so, I would recommend that faculty presenters (who are very much appreciated) double down on 1) speaking from a non-distracting background; 2) speak less from notes and more into the camera for better interface with the audience members; 3) not run out of time, thus shorthanding the last minutes of their part(s); and 4) spend some but less time sharing their personal/professional backgrounds (especially since the materials provide helpful bios). Speaking of which, the printable materials typically serve as very helpful reference sources going forward. Lastly, try not to increase the seminar fees more than nominally since current pricing can be a pinch during these budget cutting times. Thank you.
