“The products are good except for the turkey which is so dry. Generally, I find the delivery service excellent, but this time I was very disappointed. I was out and the the box had been dumped on top of some plants, breaking them. It was open (why?) and inside the food had started melting. Fortunately I was back home fairly soon and the box had only been left in the sun for about half an hour.”

“Cats and Dogs all love it. Good texture and i love the way there is plenty of choice without chicken! Not quite the freshest of smells like freshly bought meat from a supermarket but it doesnt seem to put the furries off. Gald you can have it with bone and offal already in it tho it si a wee bit expensive in comparison to making your own up.”

“SgtP loves the food we buy from you- I love the ethos and the service / still can’t get a subscription to work / it’s quite expensive and in Ryedale: North Yorkshire I can’t recycle the cartons because of the glue edges and bits of cover stuck on ! Will keep ordering: I also use the wool for crafts in school and the big boxes too G Robinson”

Hi Sally, thanks for the review :) Unfortunately delivery costs us a lot, we actually already subsidise the cost significantly. By the time we pay DPD for the driver, the logistics, the fuel and take into account the insulated packaging and heavy weight of the items - it adds up to far more than we charge. “We were very pleased with the quick response and delivery of the food. Unfortunately, despite following the guidance to gradually move Sammy onto the new diet, she did not like the Naturaw food. She would go 48 hours without eating the Naturaw. In the end, we had to give it away to somebody whose dogs appreciated it.”

“Love the packaging only negative is the paper underneath the meat which is annoying. My dog has so far had venison, Turkey & lamb, have found poos are crumbly so maybe too much bone for my dog. I would prefer more choice of single proteins.”

“My dog loves the food, I think it's affordable and packaged well, and although I bought it to hopefully help with her itchy skin and I haven't seen much difference we are only on day 5 so can't really judge on that yet.”

“Everything's going well at the moment. Chose single protein turkey for trial with my dog with itchy skin. Haven't used the company or product long enough to give a 5 star review. Good communication and good delivery experience.”

“My dog absolutely loves all the Naturaw food and I love that the packaging is all biodegradable. I would have given 5 stars but the subscription side of things can be difficult if you want to swap the box you have. Otherwise I really couldn't recommend it highly enough. I wish they did cat food too.”

“I was recommended by a fellow dog walker who has been a fan of your products for the past year. She convinced me to try your raw dog food products on my seven year old black Labrador who is getting slightly over weight. I tried a sample pack initially and was quietly impressed by the simple process of ordering on line on your web site. My biggest irritation with ordering on line is the deliveries but DPD have been excellent to date, good communication and precise times of delivery, with the next day delivery I’m quite happy to continue buying your products. My Labrador loves the her food even more, the down side is I have been forced to buy another freezer to store her monthly food order now but we’ll worth it.”

“Great good quality food just I just wish there was some of kind of lid to put on the tray once the meat is opened and also that there wasn’t the paper underneath the meat as it is difficult sometimes to get the meat out but apart from that an excellent, well-made product.”

“My greedy rescue greyhound loves it, and has a pack a day. I am accumulating compost at quite a rate! I will not put the paper under-liner in the compost bin as it's quite difficult to rinse entirely clean of meat. Apart from that tiny niggle, I have yet to work out cost; but I like the texture - stays in blocks so she has to break down/chew each chunk. So far so good. Thoroughly approve of the packaging and am already storing the wool cool-packs for return; as aretired shepher, am particularly pleased about this use.”

“The food seems to be of excellent quality but our dog is not always keen. I bought the forage packs by mistake thinking they were meat or chicken. I didn't check the ingredients list.”

“Love the eco friendly packaging, my dog's glossy coat, small poos and general love of life show the food loves her and she demolishes it every time I put it down for her. I do struggle with the website, it doesn't seem that easy to do things like postpone a delivery or switch from a large box to a small box.”

“I have been using Naturaw for a few years as my dog absolutely loves your food. However I did have a couple of issues/questions over the years which I sent an email to you but got no response whatsoever each time. There doesn’t appear to be any customer service or phone number”

“We're enjoying Naturaw so far, and so is our one-year-old flat-coated retriever. We were looking for new food to try now that she's coming up to "adult", and Naturaw seemed to tick all of the boxes. So far she seems to be enjoying all of the flavours, and having fewer digestive issues than she was on another well-known dog food delivery company – although she genuinely will eat anything! Naturaw is the most expensive of all the foods that we've ever tried, but I can understand why – you pay for good quality ingredients and sustainable packaging. I just hope that we can continue to afford it over other local brands, as I think the company is doing a great thing. The downside we found (and I know the website is very clear about delivery times) was that we ordered our box on a Thursday afternoon and it didn't come until the following Tuesday evening.”
