“For starters, I love the fact that this company deals with you personally on the phone - they do NOT demand you do your business with them online or via some useless chatbot. In this day and age where humans are losing the golden code of personal interaction, this is extremely important and valuable to me. Plus you don't have to sit there for hours, being told that you are number 956031 in the queue, but that my call is apparently 'important to them'!
Secondly, I have spoken to quite a number of their staff members about various queries on different occasions and every single one has been courteous, eager to help (even when I accidentally go through to the wrong department) and all have a positive 'can do' attitude. They are warm, friendly and very person-focussed on sorting your query or issue out as best they can. It's very clear to me that they put their customer first on all fronts.
And as for the cost - they are amazingly affordable and they were half the annual cost of my previous insurer whom I'd been with for two years without a single claim.

The call was an excellent combination of mutual telling and listening, resulting in Kayleigh's remarkably concise and prompt offer to cover the damage - absolutely in line with your "no quibble" advertising. A further unexpected complication arose when Specsavers increased the replacement cost after a renewed hearing test. Kayleigh and NFU simply rolled with the punches and met the claim in full after the expected deduction of my £100 excess clause. In this world of often poor, prevaricating customer-service this interaction reminds me of Portia's 'little candle throwing its beams as a good deed in a naughty world'.
