Have been waiting since March for a boiler to be fitted under the landlord/tenant scheme, it was supposed to be fitted today. Spent 3 hours waiting for engineer to arrive, rang to check where they were and was told boiler definitely would be fitted today. Rang again after another hour waiting and was told it was not being fitted today but they couldn't provide a reason. Now waiting for engineer to contact tenant to advise when boiler will be fitted. I am disappointed by the very poor customer service. If I hadn't rung up northern gas the tenant and myself would still be waiting for them to arrive.

Nothing was too much trouble even cleaned all the mess up they made and didn't stop even for dinner was on the go from start to finish wud recommend any day

Absolute rubbish from day one 6 boilers later and over 30 call outs still not sorted first it was electrics now or is a thermostat control ? Fitted a pipe to my drain pipe from boiler then saw it off in the middle and just left it Cowboys sting to mind and yes reported a fault to the thermostat and 5 months later still not rectified even after sending emails weekly for an update they cannot even be bothered go else where !!

Job delayed then cancelled by the company Appalling treatment. Contact with the company very difficult. No apologies and refusal to return the deposit. Worth to name and shame

Northern Gas were brilliant! Came in and fitted my brand new boiler with no issues at all. Timing was perfect as from the moment I called the customer service team to enquirer to completion it took arounud 3 weeks which I thought was very efficient as it was an application for the government boiler scheme grant. The gentleman on the phone lived up to all his promises and re-assured me as I had my reservations about the scheme due to my lack of knowledge. Overall brilliant service!

On the 20 July 16 we waited from 0800hrs until 1300 hrs for a service engineeer to do our yearly service which we had booked the week before. No one turned up. We were given another date 27 Jul 16, again we waited in ALL DAY NO ONE TURNED UP. We made 6 phone calls and the manager never phoned us back once. We are now in limbo, and we still do not know when or if we are going to get our boiler serviced.

The guys who came did a excellent job was very polite, tidy away before they left explained all things before leaving. All in all they did a great job.

Fitting our new boiler was done in a professional manner. The fitters (2) were polite and left no mess at the end of their work - they took all waste materials with them. Overall I am very satisfied with the installation.

I am still awaiting a call back for engineer to fix the leaking drain pipe after three visits to do it and since 5 calls to engineers office and messages. The boiler has an intermittent fault where it randomly turns itself on running the pump in relation to the hot water tank altho not power or timer is active to it. I am very disappointed with the communication and retiring of the issue I have twice requested a new boiler as I have no long term confidence in the one currently in.

The engineer who fitted our boiler was very good he answered all our questions and showed us how to work it he was tidy and just a very nice man Jeff Rutherford

Not satisfied at all!! First of all, the Health & Safety Officers turned up on the day, the job was cancelled as the ladders were unsuitable. The next day we were told we had to be there at 9am. They did not turn up until 12.30pm, that was after endless phone calls from myself. The job finally completed . A week later the NEW boiler was on fire..... yes there were flames coming out of it. I could not convince the bloke on the phone at your office that it was actually on fire, instead of treating it as an emergency, all he said was, that if there was not a problem with the boiler then we would be charged for the call out!! Charming. So two other blokes came out and said there was a little wire trapped which caused the fire, i said that was careless and could have resulted in an explosion....they did not seam to be that bothered....which i have to say seems to reflect how your company is. So, there was no apology for more or less calling me a liar...(are you sure it is on fire)!!, no body has called up to apologise, no one has said anything about compensation, which i believe should be offered after the way we were treated. All in all very un satisfied, and i would never recommend your company to anyone ever.

I was pleased with the package provided by Northern Gas. The price quoted was competitive, and the work completed in a day, without any additional charges. The work involved relocating the combi boiler, and installing new pipework. All existing redundant equipment was removed, and the house left tidy. Roland Allman 1 June 2016

It was only the brilliant boiler fitters that prompted me to give a good star rating. Our fitting date was cancelled twice, once on the actual day that the boiler should have been fitted, which was very disappointing to say the least.
