We ordered the furniture in March and was told it wold be delivered in June..it still will not be here until August.I was given a date for the furniture to be delivered , so booked a day off work. 2 days before i had not heard anything so I rang the store to be told that there was a 2 month delay. i understand why there was a delay..because of covid but it is the fact no one from the company had the decency to let me know which is appalling. i went to the store and was met with such a rude salesman..Matthew

We ordered 6 dining chairs to go with our oak table as our faux leather chairs had cracked. We also ordered an oak tv stand. These were ordered from branch in Milton Keynes. Delivery was due yesterday between 10.30 and 1.30 and we were told the driver would telephone one hour before delivery, which he did. Furniture arrived at 10.20 in large boxes very well packed. Very pleased with whole experience and furniture is excellent.

just had my hall table delivered bytwo of the nice'st chaps you could meet.they took all the packaging off outside and brought table into my hall.we are in our seventies and could never have lifted it ourselves.we stay in motherwell.and wish all delivery drivers were as good as them.nothing was too much trouble for them.top marks to oak-furnitureland p.s.the quality of the table was first class.we will use this firm again.

I bought the oak dining set with brown leather chairs. They are peeling so clearly trade description. They cannot be real leather. My sister’s are doing the same.

So I placed a £4500+ order at the end of April. I understood that my delivery wouldn’t be here for a while due to COVID & building. I was given the date of the 9th of July. Being such a large order I booked some time off work to handle it. I was emailed saying I would receive a time slot the day before. The day of the 9th I had to ring up to be given a time slot which they then arrived quite early to (this didn’t bother me too much But we’re talking a few hours) They’d neglected to tell the delivery drivers that a lorry may not be able to make it to my door due to sizing of my car park, despite me mentioning it prior to this. So when they turned up they discussed they didn’t want to carry it to my door from the lorry (for security of property) and in fairness I wouldn’t have expected them to carry so much over a large distance. (These gentlemen were a delight and credit to the company in fairness) I was told by a man they phoned that I would be contacted at 1pm to rearrange delivery in a Luton that would fit. At 3:30pm I called them as I’d heard nothing and was told they’d email and I’d be called back before the end of the day. At 7:30pm I called back up as id again heard nothing and was told the customer service team had gone home and I would be placed on a callback list for the morning. The whole day of the 10th I received no contact whatsoever. I rang today on the 11th asking what was happening to be told they couldn’t arrange anything till after Monday because the depot team doesn’t work weekends. I now have to head back to work and will most likely be cancelling our order and taking it elsewhere. Understandably we were both distressed and annoyed with how little care has been given since we placed an order with them, I can’t recommend enough going elsewhere with your money.

Just be aware OFL in my experience does not have an after sale service. Three times they have assured me that a replacement hinge was being posted to me, I’m still waiting. I also bought a two seater reclining sofa, unfortunately I’ve discovered that a staple was not correctly installed. I found out the hard way by slicing open my finger. The staple has cut through the fabric and cushion pad. OFL will not respond to my requests to resolve the issue. I rang the store I bought the items from and was assured customer services would call me within 2 days. 6 days later I’m still waiting! I wouldn’t recommend buying from OFL.

Ordered a sideboard from Oak Furniture Land which when unpacked had doors that would not close. On inspection it was found that 3 of the hinges were damaged. I spent a total of over 2 hours on the phone trying to organise new hinges that I agreed I would fit. After the first promised delivery came and went I was asked for more evidence which I sent. After waiting again for hinges which never materialised I told them to come and collect it. I have now been waiting 4 weeks and have another week to wait. It's a huge understatement to say their customer service is pathetic.

Bought from OFL in the past and had no problem. However, I recently ordered a sideboard in store. Delivery date accepted along with confirmation email. No text message the day before delivery, as stated. I phoned customer service to be told no delivery was due to me! After 3 phone calls, lost earnings and total disruption personally. I was offered an insult of of 3 different options (as a gesture of good will). I've had no reply from my email, and no refund...which they say takes 10 to 14 days! Horrendous communication and understanding. Quick enough to take your money. But a total joke on refunds and putting things right. Look forward to shopping elsewhere!

Placed my order Feb 2nd, 2020. 1st. Delivery arrived DAMAGED - Prior to packaging. I sent back. 2nd. Delivery arrived DAMAGED - Prior to packaging. I sent back. 3rd. Delivery was scheduled for April 9th, 2020 and cancelled on April 8th, 2020. They have my money and I have NO product. I have sent numerous emails to their customer service, but still no delivery. I will NEVER deal with this company again. I recommend that you don't either. I'm seriously thinking that I should reach out to our attorney general and that him pursue this company.

Horrific. After waiting many months for my order to be delivered- ALL items were broken. The chest of drawers and tallboy have very small drawers so given the size, you can actually only store a very small amount of items in each drawer. Staff asked me "Can I not just keep it?" when asking for a replacement and have since told me I will need to wait two months for the broken furniture to be replaced. Absolutely horrendous products and service for the amount of money spent. DO NOT BUY HERE.

I wish I would have read these reviews prior to ordering as they are accurate. I ordered a dresser on March 31, which was to be delivered on May 31. It’s now July 6, and I do not have a dresser. I have emailed 6 times and have yet to hear back on when I should expect this. Believe what you read, do NOT order from this company. I understand there is a lot going on in the world, but the lack of professionalism and communication is reason enough to not patronize Oak Furnitureland. FYI - US order.

Ordered sideboard which duly arrived when said, delivery guys really good and placed in lounge. On opening we discovered the saleswoman had ordered the wrong one!! We went to the store who sent an email to customer services as that was only way they could contact them, no apology and a definate couldn't really care attitude. Waited half hour on phone to be told couldn't pick up item for a week, we have a small lounge so now can t move around the room!! Also told our proper order out of stock and wait is 10 weeks!! Very bad service from this company.

Terrible treatment! Ordered £700 ( payment was taken) worth of bedroom furniture in April after a lot of research and with an expected delivery date of late May. Phoned in June to see where our order was only to be told would not be ready till August. No phone call to let us know. You can’t wait that long for furniture. Asked for a discount on furniture that they did have in stock only to be told NO. Least to say out of principle I had to take my business elsewhere.

I have just had a bedroom set delivered and the quality is excellent. Very well made solid furniture and the delivery team were very helpful and friendly. Will definately use again 👍😁

Nice furniture. Delivery was handled reasonably effectively, although they would not take anything back on the spot if any item was not right or was damaged. The order totalling 4 items was fine apart from damage to the corners of two sets of drawers which oddly, seemed to have been damaged prior to packing as the packing was unblemished. We responded on their awkward website, complete with pictures. After receiving no response we spent a long time trying to get through to customer service. Eventually, after having got through, it was arranged to have a replacement sent for one, with the defective unit collected plus a small refund for the other. 3 weeks later, with no sign of any refund, the damaged unit was collected, but the new replacement is also visibly damaged - again the top corner has been bashed, although not quite so badly. This time the corner of the packaging is also damaged, so it has evidently been dropped on a corner. We have again submitted the complaint through the poor online response system and the following week after no response (again) we have been trying to call their customer service for hours, but nobody is answering ... We were considering purchasing some more oak furniture, but sadly, it now seems rather unlikely that this will be through Oak Furnitureland.

Atrocious service top to bottom. I previously wrote a review of oak furniture land, how I had been waiting for 8 weeks for the delivery of a replacement table and how awful every aspect of dealing with this company has been. I was contacted by the company and refunded money to compensate for the endless waiting time in exchange for amending my review, I removed the review with the understanding that my table would arrive on the delivery date agreed. Today the wrong table has been delivered leaving me with no indication of when I will be receiving the correct one. Order placed on the 2nd of May, it's now the 22nd of June. I can't explain how bad this company is on every level except for taking your money, I would recommend buying from any other company except Oakfurnitureland!

We took delivery of our dining table and chairs, which is just part of our order, on the 4th June. Unfortunately although the chairs are labelled correctly on the boxes as wave back chairs which is what we ordered the boxes actually had cross back chairs inside. We’ve been trying to get a response from Oak furniture land for two weeks now and they will not respond to any of our emails, And the last time I phoned customer services the hold time was 48 minutes before I gave up. I’ve now had to put a section 75 hold on the finance until they engage with us. In the meantime I’ve got massive boxes of someone else’s chairs in the house and nothing to sit on. We’ve still got £1500 of couches on order with them which will be getting cancelled when they finally bother to respond, I’ve never dealt with a company like it, absolutely appalling
