We have bought 2 wardrobes, a large table, 2 chests and a dresser from them costing several thousands and are happy with their quality. Not at all happy with their delivery service as most of the above took several months to supply despite in store promises. Currently waiting for a nest of tables ordered and paid for in February now hoped for in August. We wont be purchasing any more products from them.

5 Months delivery for a small coffee table only to be told after the delivery was arranged that it would be a further 3 months. Asked for a refund which they did but then did not refund the delivery charge

Went on website to look for dining room Unit began to go thru order process Then at end realised it was 12 weeks Delivery abd 99 pound for a slot of my choice. Or 50 pound standard delivery Declined and found the sane looking oak unit in stock with another supplier abd free delivery. Turned up 2 weeks later Go elsewhere

Our delivery of 2 bedside sets of drawers arrived 16 weeks after ordering them, however we were told by the sales lady that this would be the length of the wait so we have no complaints about that. It’s the delivery man that we had an issue with..as he dropped the boxes outside our door (we did order doorstep delivery so all ok there), he said that the furniture is rubbish, it’s NOT solid oak, to look underneath as it’s all bits and pieces stuck together and to ring customer services to complain! Great ambassador for OFL! We actually love our drawers, they are in perfect condition and arrived on time.

Been waiting for 7 months for a dresser. I booked the item for delivery on the 10 June, still waiting. Customer service is non-existent.

Furniture was faulty and getting hold of customer service was not easy. Replacement sent and still faulty. Technician was going to phone to repair as i couldn't wait another 5 months for a new one. Three weeks later i am still waiting!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE!!! I placed an order back on the 5th April for our new house, It gets better they said its going to be another 2 months so wont receive it till August thats 5 MONTHS WAITING!!! Absolute joke. I've also tried to contact them by phone and email no answer OF COURSE.

I would definitely not recommend Oak Furniture Land UK. I am very unhappy and disappointed with the service. I ordered two items early this year Jan "21 and was informed there is a wait for one of the items due to item not being in stock. Nearly 7 months of waiting I receive an email 4 days before my due delivery date that my item has been delayed. The email provided a link to rebook the delivery. However when I clicked the link it stated that rebooking can't be done online. I rang the customer service and asked my order was delayed since it was ordered such a long while back. I was told it can be a mixture of reasons. That beause of covid, the containers are not meeting shipment dates. She asked for me to rebook my delivery slot. To which l was not prepared to wait indefinitely for further x amount of months. It is obvious to me that they are selling items to which they cannot supply the stocks. I asked for a refund and was told to be put through the refunds line. In the end l have to wait upto 10 days for the refund and they refused to refund my £19.99 delivery as l received my first item. I explained I only paid for the upgrade delivery for the bigger item to be delivered to the room of my choice. This experience has led me to believe the customer service is very poor. If l didnt ask for a refund I think they would of kept rolling on the new delivery date. I'm in the process of waiting for the refund will go back on my account.

Delivery staff and professional who lie. Well what can I say about oak furniture, delivery staff who say they made a delivery to me yesterday but left a card saying “sorry we missed you” and this is how long it took me to get through to someone in there customer service this morning only to tell me she would ring me back once I told her I have cctv installed. But if you do need to contact someone, press 1 when you get through and someone in there sales team answers straight away. Never again 😡😡😡😡

First of all waited 8 months for delivery of 1 of the 2 items we had ordered. The second part of a matching bedroom set was going to be another 6 months they said. I know there has been delivery problems due to the pandemic but the company was not honest with us and kept pushing the delivery date back by 2 months every time the delivery date was supposedly a week away. When the 1st part of the order was delivered it was very badly damaged. The website contact form did not work and basically had to hang on the help line for 40 minutes every time I needed to speak to someone. Eventually they collected the damaged drawers and delivered more which turned out to be even more damaged than the first. Basically poor quality absolute rubbish. Sadly we were then forced to cancel the order as all faith in the quality of the furniture was gone. I then had to contact twice more before they managed to process the refund. Absolute rubbish!

Feel somewhat ripped off - purchased an excellent sofa/recliner. delivered on time BUT the following week found out that the same company also has clearance stores in nearby towns where the same sofa, albeit display or slightly soiled can be purchased for less than half price! Beware look, than check out their clearance stores or competitors for better pricing. Very expensive lesson learnt - never again!

Bought a table and 6 chairs in 2014 still looks like new only husband and I live here and rarely have company to dine. One chair I noticed the brown leather seating has worn like a cat has been clawing at it. Receipt states chairs covered in real leather well have never known leather to wear like this. Faux leather yes but not real leather. However was quite prepared to buy a replacement chair but told have to buy in pairs. Is this classed as customer servivce? Would have thought at the least would be told sorry of course you can buy a replacement chair. It seems they sell you rubbish and then want to make money from that. Customer is just a cash cow. Penny wise pound foolish as we would never buy from them again mainly due to their attitudes towards their customers.They do nothing to encourage repeat custom.

I’ve recently purchased a Nebraska corner unit, in February this year , it’s not for sittings on, it was squeaky from day one I thought it wasn’t to bad so I avoided sitting on that section , I’ve tried to phone several times unfortunately waiting at least an hour each time, without getting to speak to anyone , I wish to add the squeak is now a lot loader, and this is the first time I’ve ever had to make to a complaint.

We ordered some furniture from the Oak Furnitureland website which was supposed to arrive within 6 weeks. We didn’t get it until 9 months later. When it arrived, one item was damaged, and another had what looked like flecks of paint or woodstain on it. The furniture is generally not very well put together, with gaps in between the joints. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality – the furniture we received looks like factory rejects. We will not be buying from Oak Furnitureland again, and would definitely not recommend.

WARNING OAK FURNITURE LAND (Norwich) Do not purchase any furniture from oak furniture Land, it does not last ,it’s quality is very poor, they don’t want to know when you complain , Do not take out the 5 year insurance they try and sell you which they do and tell you it’s a 5 year policy and you won’t have to worry about your furniture for the 5 years it’s all covered, Wrong the 5 year insurance is not worth the paper its written on and you are basically fobbed off when they come round and assess your furniture , they have no intention in sorting anything out, even when the policy states in black and white , our furniture has sunk so badly by nearly 3” and you can not sit in it as it’s so uncomfortable , policy states it’s covered for loss of resilience which is what has happened , 3 months of arguments and emails phone calls and they don’t want to know , Be warned stay well clear , don’t buy from oak furniture land, disgusting company, very poor quality furniture, Misleading you into buying insurance , furniture not fit for purpose , Please share everywhere to make people aware The more we share then they might start treating their customers better and not sell very poor quality furniture that don’t last

Purchased two sofas last year at a great cost with an extended warranty, to then have the cushions collapse in 12 month period. Raised this with Oak Furniture Land to be told it was wear and tear and they couldn't do anything about it. Amazing thing is, not once did they come to actually look at the sofas. Stay away from this con of a company and purchase elsewhere. Now taking matters further.

Good quality, excellent delivery service, just a shame that bolt short for a small table and 'phone call took over 20 minutes to answer before being sorted. A previous delivery, wrong item sent, OK was sorted but once again took a lengthy wait on phone call. After service queries should provide better and quicker service!!

Delivery team refused to use the garden door and asked me to remove the doors which I could not do. They didn’t call prior to delivery as I was advised by the customer service representative and I have had to wait on the phone for ages in order to speak to someone. Result £1300 spent, time lost, house left in a mess as the items have not been delivered and a potential re-delivery charge. This is most definitely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and I will not purchase from them again.

Very poor customer service and communication. Ordered furniture, informed 4 month wait which I accepted, paid in full. Booked delivery date, heard nothing more. The week before it was due to be delivered received email to say delivery date would now be a further 3 months?!! I DO NOT believe they didn’t know until the week before that they could not honour their contract! Canceled order (with difficulty) and went to a much more ethical company with excellent communication and customer care.

I bought a bedroom set; cupboard and draws. It looks great and is nice and heavy but the draws are only 3/4 the depth of the unit. So for each draw I lose around 4-5" in depth. Just so they can save a little money in wood. I bought online. Had I bought in the shop I'd have noticed and would not have bought it. Learn fro my mistake and go elsewhere.
