Hi There, Thank you for your order and feedback. Our shipments are all packed in line with courier regulation and to avoid any breakages in transit. We apologise for its bulky nature but as a company we have committed to reducing our footprint with our packaging and so do not use single-use plastic in our shipping. Please note that the outer box is fully recyclable and the inner 'egg carton' packaging is fully compostable. We do not offer click-and-collect currently but it is something that we are working on for our customers. If you would like to collect an order in-store at any point you can get in touch with the desired store or with online@obrienswine.ie and we will check stock levels/ have it put aside before you take the trip out there. Hi Maria, Thank you for your order and for your feedback. There is a shipping fee of €7.50 per order per single shipment to the same delivery address within the Republic of Ireland. Orders over €100 to the same address in the Republic of Ireland do not incur a delivery charge. We cannot facilitate gift wrapping from our dispatch warehouse but we can include a gift note. Gift notes will appear on a branded gift card in the parcel. “Order process was easy - items arrived ontime and packaged well. Some suggestions.... - For an order of multiple bottles of wine, it would be a nice idea to throw in some free wine gift bags. About half of my order of wine will be gifts and including branded wine gift bags coming into the busy holiday season seems like a no-brainer from a marketing perspective. - The beer selections seem to be dropping off with less and less choice of all beers. This seems like an opportunity lost. - Quite often wine is matched with food - in a lot of the wine descriptions there are food matchings but it would be great to have a dedicated pairing section where you can search for a food and a wine is suggested. I know this is not an exact science but I would find it useful and it would be an opportunity for OBriens to suggest some different types of wine that maybe arent big sellers.”
