“I have shopped with Ocado for all my groceries for about the past 10 years, which is a recommendation in itself. I like the products I can buy, although am probably not as adventurous as I could be (e.g. I could use the recipe section more and order more of the stationery items). The drivers are always helpful and polite, and on the rare occasion when there has been something wrong with my order it has always been put right promptly. It is easy to get a refund through the website if an item is missing. There is nearly always a surprise 'freebie' item in the shopping. It is also convenient to use the linked websites of 'Fetch' for pet supplies and 'Sizzle' for cooking utensils and china and glassware - delivery is free if you tag it on to an existing Ocado delivery.”

“The range of products offered is endless - I have no need to shop anywhere else for food, toiletries, cleaning products, not even for electricals, stationery, and gifts! The delivery is reliable and the one-hour slots convenient, the app is incredibly easy to use and the plentiful customer reviews are informative when trying new items or checking the quality of seasonal goods.”

“I have been an Ocado customer for many years and on the whole the service is good. However, the packing remains a it hit and miss and when iti's bad it's a total nightmare. Last week my bread was crushed beyond use underneath some bottled water and 2 bottles of toilet cleaner in the same bag. Yuck. Often drivers don't want to bring the shopping in and you have to pointedly ask them to. However. 99% of the time they arrive within then our slot and it is rare to get a substitution.”

“Staff usually very pleasant. Good choice of products. Like the one hour time slots for delivery. A couple of late deliveries recently. Use by dates seem to be getting shorter. Quality of some products, eg chicken thighs, has deteriorated. Customer reviews are not responded to on the site which suggests a lack of customer care. Not sure the overall quality and service make Ocado stand out from the crowd these days.”

“Hello, i've take over my partners account and stopped using my old one. Since doing so i noticed that my other account (which is inactive) gets offers that my current account (which i spend lots of money) on gets offers that my current one doesnt. I think you should reward your spending customers the same / more than people you are afraid have forgotten about you. We order a lot of large soups (fresh soups in plastic packaging), they are always put in a bag together, like 5 or more. Often one or two of them breaks, just below the lid or at the very bottom. You might need a system like with beer / wine to transport them as i think it is from them coming in contact with eachother while being carried in and put down. Everything else is great, the drivers always friendly and on time... system works etc. You are always improving and browsing the website is painless and surprisingly enjoyable. Thank you.”

“My shopping from Ocado arrives every Saturday morning in a pre-booked slot. The quality of the products is excellent - both the Waitrose products and Ocado's own brands. Delivery is almost always prompt, and if it is running late (rarely) I get a call to let me know. It is very unusual to have missing items or substitutions (which used to really annoy me from the other online supermarkets). I would not go back to a weekly supermarket shop - Ocado has helped me to reclaim the time that I used to waste with a trolley.”

“Choice of 2 hour Time slots convenient. Usually have everything I want available, substitute with sensible options if needed. Bagged up in area of kitchen storage, eg freezer,fridge,cupboard. Sometimes badly packed but always excellent customer service to refund or replace items damaged. Knowledgable friendly drivers. Masses of variety, sometimes overwhelming choice Though! Like to use customer reviews to guide my choices.”

“Ocado's service really is excellent. They always deliver on time and the drivers are so polite. On the negative side I have had trouble with the online shopping website. Often it won't allow me to remove items from the basket. Their customer support staff were unable to help, perhaps it's an issue with my IPad.”
