“I have been selling as a verified business seller on onbuy for the last 4 years with no issues, I have all 5 star reviews ratings on there, They recently changed their payment systems meaning funds for items we as a seller have sold and sent to a customer is not made available as cleared funds for at least 10 days, then suddenly on the day it is due to be sent to our bank account the funds are placed on hold with no explanation and it is impossible to speak to a person,
Out of frustration I had to open constant tickets and use social media to get any correspondence,
I even ended up using LinkedIn and yes they replied on their main account saying someone will be in touch But the CEO’s account ‘Cas Paton’ who was bragging about the sites new payment system quickly deleted my request for help ( twice) and then blocked me, instead of acknowledging me (it was out of desperation I posted on there)
I eventually after over 3 weeks of sending the item to the customer I received MY money.
They have also started charging a subscription fee regardless of your monthly sales value, it was very well hidden in the wording in their recent terms update which you agreed to when adding your payment details for the new payment system, (they were very sneaky and said the agreement was just to add payment details) so much so lots of legit sellers have now left as it was very sneaky the way it was done and then suddenly be hit with the subscription charge when the sales income doesn't cover it.
A warning to buyers, you are not buying from onbuy itself, they are a selling platform that is now left with mainly drop shipping sellers mainly from India (they have Facebook groups helping each other set up etc) who purchase from Amazon and eBay cheaper and will get sent directly to you. So if you have any problems with your order onbuy will just tell you to contact the seller directly.
Onbuy do not care as they get their commission on sales, sellers like me that are VAT and HMRC Tax registered and run our business's correctly are leaving due to the appalling way we are treated, they seem to prefer drop shippers to legit established businesses,”
“They use DPD for delivery, DPD lied about the Delivery day, they lied about the one hour window for delivery. They provide no live tracking either on the website or the app. Wouldn't use again while they use DPD”
“I purchased item from OnBuy.com. They sent the wrong item and did not reply to any of my emails sent to them. Eventually I contacted PayPaL, OnBuy.com then contacted me saying I should happy with the wrong item as I was getting more than I had paid for. Seriously… I WANTED What I had paid for! Would never purchase from this company again! still trying to get a refund for return postage.”

It was my 1st time for ordering from OnBuy and I would highly recommend this service.
At 1st I added 2 lots of drawer units to my basket and left them there as we were not ready to order due to unforeseen circumstances. OnBuy reminded me via email just enough times to advise I had left things in my basket. Which I found very useful as it gave me a prompt.
When our decided of what Drawers we were going with, I ordered 2 sets as this is what was required. The process of setting up an account was easy, very user freindly. Once registered I could see my order with efficiency. The description of the items we were buying was informative, all measurements of the items, what colour could be chosen, what the items were made of and how they would be delivered was included. I even checked the price of the drawer units on a comparison buyers site and found that OnBuy were the most reasonable. I was kept informed by email whenever there was an update on delivery. Even the delivery driver was professional, polite and assisted wherever possible. Thank you OnBuy, I will be using your services again!”
“Impossible to make contact with this company - I ordered an item which arrived damaged. When I purchased I checked out as a guest, then to report the damage I had to set up an account but because I checked out as a guest my order is not showing. The on line BOTCHAT just sends unhelpful links. There is not contact telephone or customer services email address so cant log that my items were damaged. Will never use again and presume I am stuck with unusable damaged goods.”
“Spent 2 hours finding the right ebook reader and finally settled on OnTrack Living via Onbuy as it offered fastest delivery. However they accepted the order and the next day cancelled it as it wasnt in stock apparently.
I've now run out of time to get one before holidays which is really disappointing after depending on them for delivery.”
“DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY- I ordered products at the beginning of February with delivery date 21st Feb - I was told in March that the delivery was due to shipping???? - there was NO update from the company I was chasing them the entire time - I demanded my refund which is now going from one department to another - it has been over 2 weeks no apology no update on my refund it is me chasing them - the products they sell are NOT UNIQUE to them GO ELSEWHERE where you will receive good customer service.”
