Where shall I start....I was left on my own in a dark rural area for 3.5 hours I was expected to locate a garage myself and get myself home....what exactly am I paying for......so unimpressed, no mobile signal where I broke down which the agent did not seem to comprehend......as soon as I got home I joined the RAC...beyond unimpressed

Flat tyre first guycame out without any tools he had half a set of sockets none fitted bolts he phoned for another guy to come out said he wont be long 3hrs later still no sign phoned up again said guy will be out within 45 min 2 and half hrs later guy turns up starts loading my van on trailer I said it's not for recovery I need my wheel changing he says no I'm here to recover your van luckily he had the right size socket in his motor from phone call to getting wheel changed 9hrs I wont be renewing my breakdown

Appalling service from the agent who was expecting to email me a link so that I could arrange a garage to take my car....I explained that I was in a remote rural area without lights signal and I was on my own.i explained that the repair was basic but was told that you don't do roadside repairs. I was then told that I would be taken to the selected garage and left to get myself home despite my reiteration of my location with no station and a couple of hourly bus routes. I waited until 7pm after phoning at 3.30pm. The driver told me that he had only been given the job 45 mins earlier. I have full cover and this is my first call out and I wonder exactly what I am paying for. I will be joining the RAC immediately and would urge any other One Call breakdown customers to do the same. Utterly disgraceful.

Well reported breakdown at 4.20pm didn't arrive until 7.15 very cold waiting in car didn't even get a diagnosis so very disappointed

Our car had gearbox failure on the M6 smart motorway managed to get to a safety zone. Phoned through and couldn’t get the portal working poor internet signal, lady was very helpful logged the call said it would be 1-1.5 hours as they were busy, then I got an sms to say it would be 3.5 hours!! then we got a call from the company Onecall had hired to recover us saying it would be 4.5 hour finally 6.5 hours later we where rescued from the safety zone after having to pay £130 for the extra mileage we need to get home. One of the worst driving experiences of my life left in a freezing car 7c for 6.5 hours on one of the busiest motorways in the country Well done ONECALL Shameful Service, lady who also broke down phoned her insurance and was recovered in 45 minutes.

Person I spoke to on phone was unsympathetic. I was told it was more that 12 miles from home so had to pay over £300. I was also told only after I’d paid the money that I may be waiting 4 hours. I said I was worried and online I filled out when asked any relevant circumstances that I suffer from anxiety. I told man on the phone that I was worried there were no toilets or bushes nearby and I was on a busy slip road. They did not care. When breakdown vehicle came the driver was very kind though but the phone experience made things much worse.

The recovery driver damaged the front of the Vehicle when he was driving the car off the van. He ripped off the front bumper. We have CCTV evidence. He is denied it and tried to hide it. Unacceptable!

Shocking, did everything they could you defer me away. The person who answered the phone was so unhelpful. Hung up on me and wanted £20.00 to come out, so the recovery is basically worth nothing. No duty of care and no interest in a customer being stranded. This is the 2nd time this has happened and they left me for over 4 hours last time and in the end I had to get someone else to collect me.

It seems impossible to contact you I have tried four telephone numbers and tried various emails all without success. I have sent proof of my no claims discount to your offices in doncaster. I have spent literately hours trying to contact you.

Not happy I couldn’t speak to someone and got sent a link . That I couldn’t log on to as no internet . It took the recovery 4 hours to get to me . I thought a lady on their own got priority. I called 4 times to b e told the recovery was on its way . My last call I was told I had cancelled . Plus you took £55 off me to come out said it was a call out charge . You did say I would get a refund . Hopefully I do . I’ll not recommend you at all

It’s very bad, unfortunately he didn’t diagnosed the problem properly. I had to call AA again and checked and they found that Bottom Pully has been broken. It’s unbelievable that the person checked didn’t do anything he just jump started the vehicle and left.

Terrible service from start to finish, they we difficult to contact and by the time i got a call to ask if i still needed recovery (3 hrs later) i had arranged and paid for a local recovery, ill be looking to cancel this "service"

The mechanic that came to change my wheel has stripped the lock and wheel nut! I unfortunately had another puncture the day after in a different tyre but we can’t get that off now? I’ve ordered a new nut but will be 3 weeks! I am self employed and can’t earn any money so not a very good experience!

Broke down called 9.30 pm told 1hour to 90 mins .got a text saying 12.30. 3 hour wait .unacceptable disabled and vulnerable. Rac he we come.

Awful. Had no Internet signal and kept getting told to go to the portal rather than call. Took 5 hours to get the vehicle out and in general were far more concerned with collecting their fee than getting us home. I was with my 2 year old and pregnant partner, they sent the wrong towing vehicle that wouldnt fit us all in so we'd have to get a cab home.

Appalling… had to pay £20 upfront just to have someone come out, test the battery and say the battery if fine but car would still not start. Asked to be towed home but the recovery would only allow us to. E taken locally - we were 30 miles away. So was left stranded! Absolutely pointless having this breakdown service added to my policy. Very dissatisfied. Please refund the £20 paid for nothing.

Phoned for rescue at around 10.15 am on 12.04.23. Flat battery on my drive .Received message mechanic to arrive at 1.10pm. No show so Phoned at 6.15pm.was told it would be rescheduled mechanic arrived at 9pm and left at 10pm could not fix the problem. Left me a lock Smith No to re program keys. Today 13.04.23 called RAC at 9am mechanic arrived 10am got the vehicle running and diagnosed a faulty battery (3 mths old) have since had the battery replaced. All is well. One Call Rescue failed misserbly.!!.
