this was my first experience with Open Door and I must say my wife and I were very pleased with the experience. T he feature we liked most about the process was that there were no showings of the house needed. That is exactly what we were looking for since my wife works days and I work nights. The process was pretty straight forward and easy, we had no complaints. Everyone was very patient with our many questions. It was a very good experience and we would certainly use Open Door again if the need ever presents itself again. Thanks

Very quick and efficient. Everyone responded promptly when I had a question. Very obliging when I asked for closing rescheduling. For a single senior person, it was important not to have to stage house and wait to sell and deal with showing house.

As a retired realtor, I had never heard of Opendoor, so I did my homework. First, I researched them as much as I could through customer reviews and business sites. There were a number of negative reviews from customers complaining about excess charges after an inspection. There were also some who complained that the offer that was given them was too low for their liking. Well, in my humble opinion; they offered me about five percent more than I thought I would get for the house. I was in the midst of putting in new hardwoods, carpet, and painting when I asked for their offer. Not believing that they would take care of the floors, carpeting, and painting unless it was really bad, I called them. I was reassured that they would indeed repair them with the nominal fee that they were charging; which by the way was less than the realtors today usually charge (6%). I elected to close 90 days from the time I accepted their offer and everything happened exactly as I was promised. The inspection went smoothly; the inspectors found some things that needed to be fixed, but the fee was very fair. I was expecting to be contacted telling me that there would be more charges after reading the negative reviews that I had read, but it never happened! There were not any hidden charges, everything was up front and the closing went as expected too. I would definitely use them again!

I have very rarely in my 65 years worked with a company that actually did what they said they would do !! Opendoor did just that. From the beginning to the close yesterday.. First of all they were on time for every meeting or appointment. And when we were getting closer to the close and I asked for the date to be moved up 26 days they didn't bat an eye. Their inspection team came out and did their part exactly when I asked them to, and were very professional in the way they went about their task. Yes they found stuff that needed repaired and replaced.But I knew they would.. For the most part their cost to do the repairs were in line with what I would have paid someone to come out and do them..I chose not to do repairs and have them deduct the cost from my payoff Its your choice.. They give you the option at that time to do repairs or move forward with the sale. I opted to move forward with the deductions and finish the sale.. So make sure the small stuff to be repaired is done and then you wont be surprised. It was at that time i asked that we move the closing up 26 days. They didn't have a problem at all with that and I closed on the property yesterday in a total of about 2 1/2 weeks. My closing was A BREEZE.... I showed up an hour early but they got us right in and began immediately. All the correct paperwork was in our folder and their staff never missed a beat as we went through the signature process. Done in about 35 minutes.. From the time we were finished with the close until the wire transfer hit my account was about 4 hours... It doesn't get any better than that in my opinion. I did it all without an agent and felt comfortable through the entire process start to finish. I would never sell a house any other way unless I was ok with waiting around for the finish... Do yourself a favor..... Check them out with open eyes and an open mind ! You will be surprised at what they can do for someone that is looking for a quick FAIR sale.

It was a great hassle free experience and so much more enjoyable than going the traditional route of staging, counter offering and stress of when the home might sell. I would recommend Opendoor to my friends and family selling a home. I am very pleased!!!

My wife and I had just found out on 9/30 our renters would be moving out on 10/31. We didn't like the prospect of trying to re-rent the house, nor did we think we could get anyone in there before january or february at the earliest. The market thankfully had increased enough to make the prospect of selling the house a significant net gain for us, but selling at the end of year is difficult as well and would have cost lots of money to get it looking great for potential individual buyers. Opendoor was the perfect solution for us! The process was so quick and easy compared to selling to an individual. We were able to negotiate the price, negotiate the repairs, and even move the closing date around multiple times to fit our schedules. We closed only 6 days after our renters moved out, and didn't have to do anything to prep the house for sale. Overall we were very satisfied with the entire process. If there was one thing we would change it would be the fee structure that Opendoor charges. 5% is just too high when there's no traditional realtors and efficiencies of technology involved. We would totally recommend this to anyone trying to sell their home or rental properties.

It was easy to work with team and hassle free closing no realtors no showing many different people agree on price sign agreement close no hidden fees it is what we agree on I recommend to sell through them no headaches got paid on same day closing wire transfer in to my account same day Thank you open door

Opendoor offered a fair price with none of the hassles involved in a regular home sale. I appreciated their straightforward approach and them being able to close when scheduled as promised. It was a very good experience.

Overall I had a very good experience selling my home to Open Door. It was an easy recess and people were flexible along the way. My only complaint is that I felt the required repairs were a bit steep for this type of business model. They did end up charging me for things that I assumed would be absorbed by them (such as landscaping like trimming trees and mowing the lawn). But, I definitely would recommend Open Door as an alternative to traditional home selling options.

I cannot say enough positive things about Opendoor. They are very good at what they do, and make the process of selling your house hassle free. If I ever have another house to sell, I will absolutely use Opendoor. My brother-in-law has a rental home he wants to sell. I told him about Opendoor and he has been in contact with them. Open Door made the home selling process so easy. I needed to change my closing date twice and it was very straight forward. Not having to do any of the repairs and choosing to have Open Door take care of it all was a huge relief! Everything was stress free! I would totally sell to them again in a heartbeat! We knew Opendoor helped distressed homeowner, because we witnessed it in our neighborhood. We explored selling to them because we had toddlers in our home and didn't want to deal with keeping the house "showable" until we sold it. We also knew we needed to paint and replace carpeting. Opendoor offered us a market price (a little lower than we would have listed), only charged us a small percentage of the selling price for administrative costs (less than a real estate commission), there were very few costs on our part, and the closing was a breeze. Throughout the experience, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop - it never did. They even moved the closing date for us twice while we searched for our new home. I would cheerfully do this again!

Rigo and Julie were great. The whole Opendoor experience was simple and quick. Says it takes 20 days to close but I was done in 18. I am very, very satisfied with my experience.

Best offer in comparison to Zillow and Offer Pad. I ended up getting just as much cash as I would have ended up with if I sold my home for the price we lowered it to after being listed over 3 months. I only wish I would have done it sooner and avoided the open houses, failed contracts, and realtors.
