“It was my first time selling a house without using a traditional agent. Absolutely amazing experience on this platform! Opendoor kept their promise at each step. Mike Holbrook was very helpful; he was very patient with me when I had difficultly using my phone in showing the house. The entire house sale process just went through as easy as they said: “One, Two, Sold”! I have shared my experience with Opendoor with all my friends and relatives. Thanks, Opendoor, for the hassle-free house selling!”

“I was extremely nervous selling my home due to my age, financial standing and because I was doing it all by myself. My OpenDoor rep stuck with me thru the whole process and they have excellent closing attorneys in Georgia. I even got upset a couple times because I let fear get the best of me and didn't understand an email here and there and my rep was super patient with me. But I was worried I was making the right decision selling to such an organization or selling period. The whole process was at better than selling through a typical real estate agent and they gave me top dollar. Even with the repair costs. I would highly recommend. And um not easy to get my approval. I'm a b****.”

“I don't know if there are enough good things I can say. Opendoor sounded too good to be true, turned out not to be the case. Opendoor far exceeded my expectations. Crisy was very helpful and guided me through the process very well. Tara with OSnatonal is a super person. It was a genuinely pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Opendoor to anyone.”

“I knew I wanted to sell, but didn’t like the prospect of showings. I contacted Open Door. I had a preliminary offer that day and an acceptable final offer within a few days. I was then free to go on a planned trip and scheduled my closing at my convenience, as well as being able to stay in the house a few extra days until I moved. Everything went as planned.”

“Overall it was a really great experience. The only reason not 5 stars is the title company they used were very slow at responding to questions or giving updates. But otherwise, our Opendoor representative, Anthony King, was quick to find answers and assisted us from start to finish.”

“First of all apologies for any typos, I am doing this on my phone. We had a great experience working with opendoor, no surprises which is rare if not impossible. The information I got on the very first day is exactly how it went on the last day. Here’s how it went.: It was about couple of months back that I learned my job is going remote, so we decided to move back to the west coast to be with the family. I checked opendoor online and provided some info, they got back to me with a quote that was fair market value and I accepted. Got a call from their agent Kendra, she was very professional and took her time to explain me the entire process. No gimmicks, no pressure, no selling, she explained in very simple and clear terms of the amount they offered, cost of transaction, repair estimates and the steps involved, which was all fair and in line with my expectation. What sold me was when she mentioned that I get to choose my closing date and there is flexibility with that. We knew we are moving but had no idea on exact date that would happen, plus because of our family situation we couldn’t take care of repairs. I explained our situation to Kendra and she advised me not to do any repairs and that they would buy as is, which was a huge relief. Since that day everything went as expected, except we had to move the closing date once because of family emergency. I texted Kendra to push the closing by 10 days and she took care of it. We closed at 5 pm on the scheduled day, money in bank the very next day. They also have option for late checkout which helped us with our move, I would strongly suggest to learn about it. This is our second home we sold, the first one was conventional sale about a few years back and that was a nightmare. My impression of opendoor is that it is an ethical tech company that i would compare to the likes of Uber and Airbnb, a genuine business model which disrupts the conversational painful and unpredictable aspect of home buying and selling and delivers an experience which puts you in control. We are so pleased with how things went that we have been recommending opendoor to all our friends and family.”

“Offered to purchase my home for less that value and wanted me to pay $9k in repairs and pay 5% fee. It would be better to list my home! No deal! I can’t give you equity and pay for repairs!”

“I was recently sold a house april of 2022 and it was not disclosed that the house was on a septic system and of course the system is failing. How do you not disclose what kind of sewer system the house has this is pure negligence. I’m it looking at a minimum of 20k to replace the system.”

“Opendoor made a fair market value offer for my home which I accepted. The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The overall process was so much easier than my past experience when selling a home. No realtor estate agents to deal with and no prospective buyers moving about my home.
