This was easy to work with as far as selling my house. I feel that I received a fair price for my property. Closing was easy & very helpful. Customer service was great. Prompt funding once everything was closed & finalized. I highly recommend using OpenDoor.

My main goal in selling my house was to do it quickly and with as little stress as possible. Opendoor delivered 100%! I was almost in shock at how easy they made the whole process! It could not have been any better of an experience!

Offers we fair. The foundation company they used seems kinda shady and listed items that were not an issue and higher than standard prices to fix. The deal breaker was the super shady title company they used. They freaked out cause the house was under a land trust. They had never heard of what a land trust is a freaked out and denied insuring the title. In the end was a blesing..in this market I was able to get a lot more $ going with a different company. Was going to sell many homes via Opendoor..but not now. Took title company 4 days to tel me why it was denied..wouldn't give an answer. In this market DONT list with opendoor..list normally and you will get a lot more money

I work from home and did not want to deal with home improvements and multiple showings so after doing research on comps and meeting with realtors I decided to get a quote from Open Door and I was pleasantly surprised. I went online and provided some statistics about my home and I received the preliminary offer. The next day I had a video call with the Open Door Specialist and did a video walk through of my house. Two days later someone came to do an exterior review and the next day I received the final offer which was only $1,100 less than the preliminary. I knew the house was going to need a little work so I was fine with the $1,100 assessment. I signed the contract electronically on a Saturday and chose a closing date. The following Monday the closing agent reached out to me to explain the process and gather some additional information. Open Door and the title company kept me informed along the way and two weeks later I closed. The realtors I met with said I would never get a good offer from Open Door but they were wrong. Open Door’s offer minus the 5% commission left me with exactly what I would have made if I had sold it the traditional way. However, since there was no formal home inspection and a quick close I did not have to carry the expenses of owning the home for nearly as long as I would have if I had to find a buyer getting a traditional mortgage. This was the first home I’ve ever sold and I could not be more pleased with the experience. The process is actually as easy as the commercials portray. It was a great experience.

1. I think its a hit and miss experience. The current experience amid the pandemic I would honestly say 5 stars. I have sold to Opendoor and for individuals who have the motivation to sell quickly they are great alternative as long as you understand that there will be a sacrifice in equity. But this is to be expected as they have to make money. Would I recommend Opendoor, absolutely, unlike its competitors I say they are the most honest and transparent. The representatives both in the brokerage and customer service seem genuine about helping making the process uncomplicated. When I first started dealing with opendoor it was a little frustrating ( hence the 4 stars). I'm not sure what has happen in the last year or so, but the experience is so much better. Instead of being a last choice to sell a home (even letting go of some equity for a peace of mind make then one of the first considerations for myself and some of my difficult clients.

We saw one of the most unclean houses for sale by Opendoor on Kit Carson Trl in Anthem, AZ last week; including one toilet having diarrhea splattered. But my wife wanted the house as market is tight. We offered $18K above selling price. Inspection showed many problems including a leaky 20-yr roof and a dismantled irrigation system. Inspector recommended roof be replaced. Opendoor said no and tried to offer $5K back (of the extra $15K we offered). I told my wife that with $5K we could buy many buckets to catch the rain. In the future, if a realty company can not pay a few dollars to clean the house, they are not going to replace a roof. It is a seller's market and they will find some victim that is more desperate than us. Unfortunately, the lowest star rating you can give is one. I am going to attempt to place 2 photos of the toilet.

Opendoor is truly a great experience. If you live a busy lifestyle and know that you will struggle to keep up with showings and the whole process of selling a home, Opendoor is for You. From start to finish we were able to close and receive our proceeds in less that 45 days. All without having to show the home or deal with a lengthy closing process and negotiation. I would recommend Opendoor wholeheartedly and would utilize their process again in the future.

Working with Opendoor was AWESOME!! I purchased the home 5 years earlier and wanted to turn it into a rental two months after refinancing and was not allowed by the mortgage company until I had lived there two years. I had equity and did not want to have two loans on the property so I decided to sell. I contacted a realtor who advised I needed about 8000 in repairs to get the house to the selling price I or we thought the after repair value should be. I did not want to work with contractors or deal with showings. I remembered I had received a letter from Opendoor a few months back so I called them. They came by and did an assessment t and advised yes the house needed about 7k in repairs and they offered me 5k less that the realtor said we could get on the market after repair so I did it. I am now purchasing 2 rental properties with the funds left over after they paid off the mortgage. The selling process was easy, they had the agents, title company, escrow, everything in house and from start to finish it took about three weeks from the time I called them to the time I received my check. If you’re in a similar situation or looking to sell without having to deal with contractors, agents, and showings I would definitely recommend Opendoor. If they sold turn key investment properties in the area that I’m looking to buy I would definitely use them for that too.

The sale of my home was hassle-free and fast! I received more than a fair price. The people at Open Door are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My "Experience Partner" (sales assistant,) Jacob Herrera, answered all of my questions promptly. He provided 5 star service and made me feel confident in the process! I contacted Open Door to inquire about selling my home. They contacted me immediately. Jacob scheduled a video walk-through of my home. Soon afterwards I received a cash offer which I accepted. It was a generous offer, minus a small sum for some repairs to my home that the company wanted to complete. I was able to then set my own closing date. It was a smooth process!

One of the easiest transactions I’ve ever completed, hard you think you can sell your house while sitting on your couch. The process was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend open door to anybody looking to sell their house without the hassle of going with a realtor/showings. We know a personal friend who is a realtor and discussed our deal with them and they were blown away by the price we were given from Opendoor they would’ve had to sold our house for almost 10,000 more just equal the same pay out.
