As an out of state realtor/investor, I welcomed the opportunity to sell my vacant property in a quick, efficient manner. The staff at Opendoor was always accessible and helpful. We closed in 15 days at my request. I could not have asked for a smoother transaction!!

Opendoor was one of the BEST experiences I have ever had! They were prompt, knew what our goals and needs were, and we were able to close on our home as fast as possible! Their offer on our home was exactly what we were looking for! I would recommend them to anybody wanting to sell their home and not have to do repairs! I appreciate everyone from our Opendoor team that helped us with finalizing a HUGE decision, and we will forever be grateful for Keon Steele and Jordan Woods!

This was the easiest transaction any home seller could ask for. The offer was very competitive and easy every step of the way. All opendoor employees were helpful and friendly.

Working with Opendoor has been such a smooth process. They worked with my schedule and were very accommodating. Everyone involved was super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them. They also gave us the best price for our house compared to other similar companies. I would definitely use them again.

By far the easiest experience that I've had selling a house. The entire process from beginning to end was mostly seem less. They gave clear communication throughout the entire process and were always available via email and phone call. No complaints from me and being able to chose your closing date as well as adjust it if needed was very helpful considering I had renters in the property that I sold. Would highly recommend as it took away a lot of the stress of the traditional process.

This is a business with a strategy to send mass low ball offers hoping to find that desperate person. If your not a desperate person, hire a realtor and sell your home for 35-60% more than their joke offer.

Terrible experience! You guys don’t know how to use or answer the phone once you have a house under contract and you are ever worse once you know you have the buyer on the hook. We could never get a same day response about anything from the Atlanta, Ga office. Everything was by email until the final hour when we had to call along with our realtor calling to make anything happen. Communication was terrible the entire time. Now to top it all off we finally closed and the house is ours. Opendoor is supposed to email me a code for the new lock set on the door and tell me where the keys are at inside...24 hours later I have no email, no keys, and I’m going to have to break in to my own home to walk through the door for the first time. This will make a great story and will be forever a reminder of what a terrible corporate company Opendoor is.

We attempted to buy an Opendoor house in Marietta, Ga. They were nickel and diming us on everything since the beginning and we had conceded to paying list price and not getting the roof fixed. Then come to find out the house appraised $24,000 below their list price and they refused to come down, meaning that we could not get the house without taking a lower loan and paying the difference. Turns out they overpaid for the house to start with. Extremely disappointed with the company and will now on avoid them at all costs.

Love the concept, the execution with myself purchasing a home from them though leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to inspection repairs, closing costs, etc. I understand they are in it for the profit but my experience is ridiculous. I am missing the personal touch of dealing with a person who understands that list price is negotiable and is based upon there being nothing at fault with the house.

I sold my home, due to downsizing and husband pasting away, the experience was okay, can say they work with you on closing and issues that comes up, but the fees are high and the inspection was s little a bit much, overall I had been in my home 14yrs. And think it was in very good shape minor repairs, wish I could have gotten more for my home but I was overwhelmed and needed to sell! But the representative was great! Thanks Opendoor!! For almost 20 years I have lived in my home and it had approached that point of needing some work, whether I was selling or not. Both my husband and I have very busy schedules. Neither of us had the time to manage home renovation projects or have a home show ready at any given moment. We did our research and decided to see what Opendoor had to offer. The offer Opendoor came back with was above what I thought I would get and instead of requiring us to do any of the repairs, they agreed to allow us to credit the repair value back to them at closing. The closing agent we worked with, shout out to Irene, was so incredibly helpful and understanding when we had to push out closing a few times due to events beyond our control. The whole process was easy and hassle free. Closing was smooth and they wired the money quicker than I could check my account. I highly recommend them for anyone in a similar position. You may not get the same price offer as if you put your house on the MLS with a local Broker but for us, the peace of mind was...priceless. Thank you Opendoor!

This company is way overpriced and you can’t use your FHA loan with them until a certain date their interest is way too high.., in certain neighborhoods that they’re getting these homes in or as low as 115,000 that’s only worth 130,000 they may go and purchase a home The same exact home across the street Same floorplan same style just like the one Sits in front of the home they purchased and price it for 160,000 they are way overpriced and I would not recommend no one to purchase a home from them. They hardly ever except the offer of the home even if you give them the offer that’s priced or a little more they still want more and more I absolutely recommend no one to purchase a home with this company.

I flew to Vegas to meet them to look at my house. They knew I was flying from out of state. When they got to my house I told them I didnt have access to the garage, but that their competitor which sounds like Pillow did the inspection and was willing to come back tomorrow to access garage. Opendoor was full of attitude and said "oh well" about me telling the public how they act. So I decided to tell the public. I think it's crazy that they wouldn't inspect the house and come back for garage or I could send them photos. but nope Opendoor doesn't really care about the seller. so no I would never contact them again, just calling it like I see it.

We were distressed to get an extremely low bid on our home but decided we could live with if if it netted us enough for a deposit on another house. Then we were slapped with a huge bill for repairs that would allow us to receive only $1,000.00 for the equity in our home. We withdrew from the contract. We had a realtor come in and assess the property. Right away $16,000.00 of the repairs were thrown out as bogus and the appraisal was over $40,000.00 more. We had tried to talk to the appraisers during the process, but they were not open. I sent E-mails listing amenities that were not considered, such as one extra bedroom and an extra bathroom. Looking at the bid they gave us for our property we determined it went by what was on Zillow 6 years ago and not the current condition of the home. All in all it was a frustrating experience and an insult to my intelligence.
