“Working with Opendoor was absolutely wonderful! Every single step of the process was easy and streamlined. If I had any questions, they were always available to answer quickly. We received an incredible offer on our home from Opendoor. One that provided us with a substantial down payment on a brand new home...our Forever Home. I am so glad we decided to go with Opendoor, versus listing with a real estate agent. Absolutely zero regrets with the entire process and transaction. Thank you Opendoor!!”

“This was a great experience, everything went very smooth. Opendoor was very easy to work with. Quick and easy process, and they gave us a very competitive and fair price for our home. Also, their online tools and process was very easy as well. Our Opendoor contact, Dillon was fantastic! He was always accessible via phone or text and was very prompt to answer any questons. Highly recommend!”

“OpenDoor took almost all the stress and hassle out of selling my home. Logistics of moving are never stress-free :) but OpenDoor made it so easy to concentrate on the move by streamlining the selling process. I was a bit skeptical at first, but our neighbors had a great experience with OpenDoor and I was equally as thrilled with the ease of the process. No delays, staging, repairs, etc - they just did the assessment quickly (had very competitive offer) and I signed for closing. I would highly recommend OpenDoor to anyone looking to sell their home!”

“Amazing! I encourage anyone selling a house to request an offer from Open Door. In our case we were 100% satisfied with the amount they paid for our home. There was zero stress during the process. They were incredibly flexible with the closing date and even allowed us to do a "late checkout" meaning we were allowed to stay in our home for up to seven days free of charge after closing. Thank you Open Door for making our sale so easy!”

“The experience was just advertised! They have you take a few photos before the offer, they come by to inspect your home outside, didn't even need to be at home for this. Gave us an offer for house as is. Got us to title company and transaction was done. Of course any house closing involves lots of paper work, but OpenDoor was there at every step!”

“If I could give this company zero stars I would. Not only has it felt like such a fight to purchase our home from them, they have been so disrespectful throughout the process. My husband and I booked a flight and rental car for the weekend to fly to Florida to close on our home, but 5 hours before we were supposed to board our flight we get an EMAIL (not even a phone call) saying we were no longer able to close due to their contractor not doing the job that needed to be done. We wasted over a thousand dollars flying out there and staying to not even close on our home. Not to mention when we walked through the home it was dirty. In the listing it says it is regularly cleaned but that was definitely not the case. When we walked through the home there were dead cockroaches on the floor, insulation that was all over the carpet, and the icing on the cake was someone peed in the toilet and there was no water so it had just been sitting there for lord knows how long and it SMELLED SO BAD. They refused to clean the house after this and screamed at our realtor on the phone when she confronted them about this. They never even offered some kind of compensation on our flights or rental car that we purchased even though it was their fault we were unable to close that weekend. I will NEVER recommend Opendoor to anyone that I know. I have never felt more taken advantage of, walked over, and disrespected by any company.”

“After wasting an hour of video conference, I received an initial offer. I was pleased, especially after the video review, the rep told me the house was clean and desirable and it is possible to expect even more than the initial estimate. The entire value proposition was to skip using a realtor and of course avoiding the heavy commission. Get this, after the rep telling me the initial offer might go higher - it was significantly lower but most of all, THEY CHARGE A 5% COMMISSION! Are you kidding me? The entire business model is to avoid using a realtor and pay a commission. They DO NOT tell you about the 5% fee the entire time they are dealing with you. Avoid these clowns. My rep was David Nunez. A very nice person, but his company, and their tactics completely suck.”

“The process behind Opendoor is great. The agent I worked with in the Denver area, Kurtis, was outstanding. The mortgage officer I was assigned to through Opendoor’s financing did not impress me and simply didn't want to put in the work for us. From our exchange on the phone, he was much more concerned with his personal plans than making a deadline. Thus the lower rating. The decision to finance with another company was solely based on our mortgage advisor and her work ethic. I'm disappointed we didn't get the opportunity to access incentives Opendoor finance was offering because of the one particular mortgage contact we were assigned…”

“The process was so easy. Opendoor agent walked me through all the steps and was even willing to get a local person to go out and finalize the process since the house I was selling was 5 hours away. Closing process was the easiest I’ve ever had and this is my 3rd house I’ve sold!”

“Opendoor was an amazing experience for me! Dealing with medical problems left me with no time or energy to deal with selling my house on my own or even through a realtor. My personal rep did a video walkthrough of my home with me & I had an great offer within a few days! No worries about all the little projects or fixes that I had never gotten around to, no showings, no failed buys! They took all the stress off of my shoulders. I got to pick the closing, and the title/escrow team were wonderful! They made sure I understood everything in the contract before I signed. The fees are a little higher than a traditional sale, but it was so, so worth it!”
