Myself and my 2 neighbours have been without any telephone line for 3 weeks.I have no broadband or Internet and my broadband provider tells me it's being worked on at the telephone exchange.Shocking service with no consideration by Openreach or priority to get the issue fixed

absolutely shocking. I had 3 appointments and their so called "engineers" never came. I am without internet now for 1 month, and still not light at the end of the tunel. If i could rate the company -starts i would. If i had the option to use virgin media i would, but they do not supply to my area, and every other company is reliant on open reach. DO NOT USE THEM

Engineer came to do work on a telephone pole in our ginnel in the Eccles area.The engineer did his work and left leaving neighbours bins scattered everywhere that he moved. Plastic strewn everywhere and left the gate wide open. Tried calling openreach but cannot speak to a human and they make it impossible to make a complaint. Looking at the other reviews looks like openreach are absolutely useless and one to avoid

Today an engineer called Maksood Choudhury came to look at my telephone line. It has been a source of continued problems since January when I went over to Fibre. He has been professional, and informative in trying to sort the problem out, and although the problem hasn’t been fixed, he has made sure by speaking to bt that another engineer is coming with other equipment ti fix the problem, not only my telephone but to look at my tv which is also faulty, he has made sure that I’m not left wondering what is going on. Maksood is a very competent engineer!!!!

Wish I could give -1 star 7 weeks no wifi for no reason other than Openreach wanted to disconnect us. We pay our bills on time and are always polite to them. 7 weeks ago an Openreach engineer came and disconnected my wifi for no reason. The first time an Openreach engineer came out after 1 and a half weeks, they disconnected the telecare alarm for the whole of my village when they were just supposed to put a wire back in. They then took another Two weeks just to come out and what I assume could only be on purpose destroyed our telephone line. We then had to wait 3 and a half weeks for them to just reject coming out for us. So we moved from Sky to Bt in hopes it might make some progress to working from home again and I'm dreading what they are going to completely mess up next Tuesday. I'm assuming they're going to find a way to burn our house down or cut the power to the village "by accident". Seriously do not I repeat do not trust this company as they are untrained and only make things ten times worse.

Im with sky but they still disconnected my wifi and now I'm having alot of problems trying to fix it

We waited 6 MONTHS to get the fibre in. Now we have it, he didn't listen to my landlord, the technician drew a hole wherever he want it (outside) And now I can't use my storage space because he put the f**** hole in the middle with a very delicate cable and the thingy easy to snap off.. Obviously if the technician do what we asked in the beginning, I would still able to put ALL MY STUFF IN MY ONLY ONE STORAGE SPACE. Rubbish service.

We moved into a new bungalow We moved into a new bungalow. They sent 2 guys to fit a master socket. We told them where we wanted the socket, but they told us they had to do it to the nearest place. They rushed and didn't fit it properly, so it fell off the wall. Contacted Openreach, as we didnt want it in the bedroom and they told us there would be a charge. We reminded them that we had requested it to be in the sitting room and not the bedroom in the first place. Basically, we were then fobbed off. We phoned SKY, who agreed with us that we should have had it in the main room, so it could reach our skybox, and they put us back through to a guy who was supposed to be a little bit higher up the tech support. Openreach said they would put in a request to have it moved and we should hear back within 24 hrs. Never heard anything again. It's been a week or so. We complained to SKY. Not sure why are they partnering with these people when they are upsetting good customers? We are now going to decide whether to cancel our SKY subscription and go with Virgin citing this sloppy BT company as the reason. A complaint is also going to BT and Sky. Its left us with no signal to the TV, skybox and the router hanging off the wall in a place we don't need a wireless signal

The Engineer demanded money upfront or he won't fix it this was illegal and theft and customer service you can't get hold of them and they constantly lie a useless and non care horrific company , i swiped to virgin the best

After Openreach excavated the path outside my property with no warning or notice, blocking my Drive every time, they damaged my electric gate motor.I tried to put claim in but the insurance claim company said as i had no proof, i had no claim. so it cost me £450 to replace plus fitting. They then had to come back 2 more times, as the council condemned the work each time, also on both these times them stil never bothered to notify me so my drive was blocked off again !!!!

My hubby came home on Monday night to tell me that the phone cable had snapped from the telegraph pole on the opposite side of the road and was lying in our garden. Well that was the internet down too - not happy. I called Open Reach and a lovely young lady came out to see what she could do. Well because of the busy road we are on it would be Sunday morning before it could be fixed as she would need another person to help her and to watch the road for her. I explained that I need the internet for peters work and also my CPAP machine is connected up to the hospital. She got onto her control team and arranged that she would come out at 5AM this morning and get it done when the road was quiet. Well guess what happened!!!! SHE TURNED UP AT 5AM WITH A COLLEAGUE AND PROMPTLY GAVE US BACK OUR INTERNET . Now that’s what I call customer service -what a girl. Thank you OPENREACH XXXXXXXXXX

Engineer failed to turn twice and no communication with me. Wasted time sitting in when I needed to be at work. Third engineer requested amendment on booking and no one informed me. Sat at home wasted time having taken urgent leave from work which placed me in a really difficult position.

An openreach engineer came to set up my fibre plus, he had to drill, cut branches, get up on ladders, been nice to people, well I really applaude them. Nice and felt appreciated

Just useless but what can you do you have to deal with them and they know it. They should be heavily fined for the standard of service they provide or they should be forced to close down and let someone who wants to do the job do it.

No one turned up . No internet. 2 months with BT and problems I have never had . Also first time I have had to call an engineer.

5 weeks without a dial tone or broadband and nothing but lies and excuses from Openreach. This company should be investigated and shut down, no more telecoms monopoly!!

A company what is a shambles they tell you more lies like the isp. They put a new wire up on my house which was a shambles .They a complete joke and suppose to make things better in my experience made things worse . suppose to be Fibre more like normal broadband 5 times faster yeah right !!! They also have capped my line speed which ive found out and the line is worse than what I had and you call these engineers more like clowns . .
