Like all the other people who have criticised the way this company operates, I was suckered into joining and paying their membership fee. Quite disgraceful way to operate. Avoid at all costs.

This company just STILLING people money ,never ever open their website . They charge we 89.99 euro without any notice. I jus bought ticket for my mother in law and they send me “email “ with small letters at the button that say agree to pay this amount . And on 1st of October 2024 then I suppose to pay my kids schoole and food I see charges from this “ helper “ I call them but they say it’s not refoundable…! That’s it . Sorry you lost 89.99 Is it that easy now a day just still money from kids .

Horrible customer service the w Pest I have ever experienced I cancelled last year and was stuck with the membership one year later they charge me again . Numerous call with assuring me I would get a refund and no resolution every time I call they have no record of my complaint. Stay away avoid at a lol cost 19235027869

They make you take the "prime subscription", otherwise I would have to pay 50$ more (at the checkout!) to get the plane tickets at the price adveritized. Unsubscribing from prime was not only difficult to find and includes many steps, they employ many dark patterns to make you stay. To me this is not ethical and purely a money scamming behaviour.

I attempted to book a return flight from Adelaide to Brisbane. At the end of my attempt, I received a message saying I was unsuccessful and to book again. Of course, I didn't save the screenshot. Of course, I booked again. But OPODO says it won't refund me. It denies all responsibility, and now I have an extra ticket for the trip. OPODO has been unhelpful in the extreme and not even offering any way forward beyond talking to the individual airlines involved. I did not buy cancellation insurance. However, this is their fault, not mine. I did buy a flexible ticket, but OPODO refuses to have anything to do with changing my flights. All in all I am never ever going to book via OPODO again.

Worst experience ever! Would never recommend. I booked a flight through the Opodo website. They cancelled the flight and are still refusing to refund with over 6 months of false promises.

Beware of Prime operators If you are answered by operator Sunama - put the phone down and try again until you get someone else - I phoned in today to cancel my Opodo Prime membership before the 15 day free trial period ended. I thought I had specifically explained that I wanted to cancel the subscription and cancel the direct debit. Then I received an email she had taken £44.99 out of my account. Maybe they use foreign call centres on purpose to trick people with their broken English and fast talking to trick people into something they specifically did not want🤔🤔🤔🤔. I also found the cheaper flights later with Trialfinders, Skyscanner and Google with more than £200 off. 😭😭

We booked flights with Opodo. We couldn’t check in before we flew and were told to check in with the airline. The airline told us to book in with Opodo. Ended up going to the airport to check in. Cost us £55 each. Also misled with luggage weight……..in total we had an extra £182.00 to pay. Never ever use them again…….if the price is to good to be true there’s a reason.

I received a notification from the airline that my flight had been canceled. They offered me the option of receiving a voucher for future use, worth approximately 70 euros, or a full refund. I chose the refund, expecting to receive the full amount, which the airline did indeed reimburse in full. However, OPODO refunded me only about 50% of the total (37 euros), claiming that the remaining amount was for service fees. I asked for a detailed explanation, as I managed the entire purchase and refund directly with the airline, and OPODO simply acted as a third-party intermediary. Despite my request for the full refund, they refused. I strongly advise against purchasing through OPODO—it's better to book directly with airlines, and in case of cancellations, request a voucher from them instead of dealing with OPODO.

Opodo is a scam. I booked flights which they took payment for but then by email only confirmed a 'booking request' which never moved pass a status of 'processing' even days later so had to cancel them for a refund. They refunded the flights but then took a 'subscription fee' from my account without even an email to say so and I can't get a refund. Terrible terrible company.

**Review: 1/5** I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from this company. After being tricked into a subscription without proper consent, they started charging my card. When I complained, they apologized and promised two vouchers as compensation. That was months ago, and I still haven’t received anything. Every time I email them, they are very polite and apologize, promising that their service team will get in touch—but they never do. I even called, and they promised again that I would receive the vouchers within 72 hours. Nothing has happened. Their lack of follow-through and disregard for their customers make me feel like they think I’m naïve or something. Being polite is not enough; they need to keep their promises and show respect for their customers. I expected better, and this experience has left a very bad taste.

It s a scam, they basically refuse your right to withdraw from the contract. You can only reach them by phonecall and very difficult. I changed my bank card in order to Avoid them withdrawing money from my card anymore. They NEVER cancelled my subscription.

if I could, I'd give them negative zero stars. Never rent a car from this app. They're horrible, and you can't even cancel your reservation 30 minutes after you make it. They'll still charge you. And the customer service is there just for show, they don't actually help you. Worst experience ever, man.

Very unresponsive customer service on live chat. I was unable to rebook as it took so long for the agent to reply that the time frame when I could do it for free finished and I won't be paying extra £55 pound for incompetent customer service agent

Highly misleading website - beware of paying extra for flexible tickets through Opodo - in practice the flexibility is minimal and the cost of the add on is significant.

I booked flexible flying, but its not really flexible. I only wanted to change the outgoing flight and was very happy with the return flight. However, I am only allowed to change my outgoing if I change my return flight. There I have now had to cancel my business meetings to comply with this ridiculous policy. I will not be booking with this company every every again.

My name is Benjamin and i booked a flexible retun flight ticket from Manchester to kigali for £792.22 . My booking reference number was 18855240694 and I booked my flight via Opodo app on 7 Sept 2024 at 23:36 UK time ( Flying with Ethiopian airlines/Ref:IXTTUH). When I booked for my ticket I paid extra fees for insurance to allow me to change the dates if is necessary(Flexible travel dates guaranteed) and refund option. However after purchasing the ticket I realised that i booked the rwong dates because I wanted to travel on the 12/12/2024 and back on the 29/12/2024 but on the ticket it says 12th Sept and back 29th Sept. So immediately I rang the Opodo contact number and i requested to change dates . They said that they can not change the time but instead they booked me another flight with Ethiopian airlines ; I had to pay another £240 on the top of £792.22. All together I paid £1032.22. After booking me another flight they came back to me and told me that they have decided no to book my second flight for some reasons and I was only given 2 options : First option was to keep the date (12th Sep-29th Sept) or to request 80% of refund. I feel like I have been scammed by Opodo because my ticket was flexible and they are not giving me an option to change the dates ; So because I was left with no other option, I was forced to request a refund which means I will loose more than £300 just like that. It looks like Opodo can decide to cancel a confirmed ticket if they find a customer willing to pay more for your ticket. This is what they do: they issue you a confirmed ticket for the cheap price that you think you managed to get. Then they cancel your flight and offer you either a refund or reschedule your flight to another date. If you take the option of rescheduling then you have taken their bait. This is because they leave your booking in processing state unconfirmed forever and in the mean time they try to find other customers who are willing to pay more. If some other customer accept to buy the same ticket for the higher newly advertised price, they ditch you stating that the airlines did not process your ticket (they blame the airlines and get away). If no one gets the higher ticket then they give you the ticket. You have a huge chance of not flying because of this immoral price bidding genius technique. I'm still waiting for my refund but I should get a full refund because my ticket was flexible and opodo were not able changed the dates for me or book me another flight. I could no find Opodo Email contact to make a complaint and that is why I'm leaving this here . I would appreciate if someone can helped me because I'm desperate.

Renewing Prime membership automatically, without emailing the member to check/remind them that the renewal is due is bad practice. If the definitation of a "scam" is a dishonest plan obtain money from another, then this is certainly a scam! I'm shocked to see that companies like BA own Opodo. Shame on you all...

Never again! Cheating and robbing customers! We paid for car and did not get It, not the first day due to the flight delay, and even the next day they did not give is car which was paid for almost 4 weeks! And did not give money back! We will meet during process!!! They will pay back not only money that we lost but much more for refundation!!! E basta!
