They took about 800€ for a booking, but never made the booking (also did not notify me about the non-booking) and never refunded the amount. careful, people! don't try to book with opodo.

I do not recommend. They force you to buy an "OPODO Prime" subscription in small print and then charge you money from your credit card "for the subscription" every year without any information. You can't cancel it on the website, you have to call the hotline. Of course, every consultant gives you false information just so you don't cancel your subscription. It gets to the point where you have to spend hours on the phone, they start offering vouchers and promise who knows what, just so you don't cancel your subscription. If someone doesn't want to use it, there's nothing you can do. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE! I will never book anything through this portal again.

These took money out my bank today without my consent it's a scam I will write this terrible review everywhere until they contact to sort out. Absolutely disgusting. £60 membership I have never been interested in SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

Avoid. Hire car no show Antalya airport Uncontactable Desk closed (mid afternoon) Office telephone number closed Recieved a watsapp message once at the hotel about the hire car. Assuming internet connectivity on landing. Refunded and then refund taken back out of the bank 3 months later Do not use Left at airport travelling alone with a 9 year old.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Opodo. While purchasing a flight, their website misled me into signing up for a free trial of their Prime membership. After 10 days, they contacted me, claiming I had already used a free trial in the past and would be charged £89.99. I called their customer service four times, and each time I was passed around between different teams, wasting hours of my time. The first three times, they blamed a "system issue" and said they couldn't modify anything. On the fourth call, after yet another hour wasted, they finally informed me that to cancel the subscription, I wouldn't get a full refund. They claimed the difference in ticket prices would be deducted, which is absurd because those prices aren't even real. You can find the same flights on Skyscanner at the same rates without paying any membership fees. This is a total scam. They push their Prime membership under false pretenses and charge an outrageous amount. I intend to consult a lawyer or customer rights agency, and I encourage others to join forces and take collective action against them! www.citizensadvice.org.uk and dispute the payment with the bank, this is a fraud!

Forcefully made me buy a prime subscription over call without consent. Random sales blabber over calls.Sold a voucher worth 90 pounds which could never be used. Literally never!!! Customer service team is extremely inefficient. Nobody ever looks at complains. There's never been any call back. That's the l They keep asking for three days time to get back despite long hours of call and multiple transfers. Horrible experience! Nightmare

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TRIAL. I had no idea that I'd previously had a prime membership; they invited me to a free trial, then after a few days emailed from a "no reply" email to say they are charging £89.99 as I have already had a trial.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OPODO This is the first time we decided to try OPODO and certainly the last time. We were wrongly sold a hotel from opodo, being shown stunning pictures with a 4 star hotel. The hotel is disgusting, it is absolutely filthy with mould all around the room with a strong smell of damp. The food is beyond bad, you wouldn't send your dog here. The staff are rude and tell me they dont care. We reached out to OPODO the first day and were promised they will sort the matter asap as they have seen the evidence and agreed they were wrong, we have contacted them daily with still no help at all, we have now been forced to pay to go to another hotel out of our own money. To think we payed extra for a prime account with this company and to be treated like this is appalling. Update- we have been back from our holiday weeks now and OPODO still haven't done anything to resolve the matter, I have contacted them again and still nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

This company just STILLING people money ,never ever open their website . They charge we 89.99 euro without any notice. I jus bought ticket for my mother in law and they send me “email “ with small letters at the button that say agree to pay this amount . And on 1st of October 2024 then I suppose to pay my kids schoole and food I see charges from this “ helper “ I call them but they say it’s not refoundable…! That’s it . Sorry you lost 89.99 Is it that easy now a day just still money from kids .

Horrible customer service the w Pest I have ever experienced I cancelled last year and was stuck with the membership one year later they charge me again . Numerous call with assuring me I would get a refund and no resolution every time I call they have no record of my complaint. Stay away avoid at a lol cost 19235027869

They make you take the "prime subscription", otherwise I would have to pay 50$ more (at the checkout!) to get the plane tickets at the price adveritized. Unsubscribing from prime was not only difficult to find and includes many steps, they employ many dark patterns to make you stay. To me this is not ethical and purely a money scamming behaviour.

I attempted to book a return flight from Adelaide to Brisbane. At the end of my attempt, I received a message saying I was unsuccessful and to book again. Of course, I didn't save the screenshot. Of course, I booked again. But OPODO says it won't refund me. It denies all responsibility, and now I have an extra ticket for the trip. OPODO has been unhelpful in the extreme and not even offering any way forward beyond talking to the individual airlines involved. I did not buy cancellation insurance. However, this is their fault, not mine. I did buy a flexible ticket, but OPODO refuses to have anything to do with changing my flights. All in all I am never ever going to book via OPODO again.

Worst experience ever! Would never recommend. I booked a flight through the Opodo website. They cancelled the flight and are still refusing to refund with over 6 months of false promises.

Beware of Prime operators If you are answered by operator Sunama - put the phone down and try again until you get someone else - I phoned in today to cancel my Opodo Prime membership before the 15 day free trial period ended. I thought I had specifically explained that I wanted to cancel the subscription and cancel the direct debit. Then I received an email she had taken £44.99 out of my account. Maybe they use foreign call centres on purpose to trick people with their broken English and fast talking to trick people into something they specifically did not want🤔🤔🤔🤔. I also found the cheaper flights later with Trialfinders, Skyscanner and Google with more than £200 off. 😭😭

We booked flights with Opodo. We couldn’t check in before we flew and were told to check in with the airline. The airline told us to book in with Opodo. Ended up going to the airport to check in. Cost us £55 each. Also misled with luggage weight……..in total we had an extra £182.00 to pay. Never ever use them again…….if the price is to good to be true there’s a reason.

I received a notification from the airline that my flight had been canceled. They offered me the option of receiving a voucher for future use, worth approximately 70 euros, or a full refund. I chose the refund, expecting to receive the full amount, which the airline did indeed reimburse in full. However, OPODO refunded me only about 50% of the total (37 euros), claiming that the remaining amount was for service fees. I asked for a detailed explanation, as I managed the entire purchase and refund directly with the airline, and OPODO simply acted as a third-party intermediary. Despite my request for the full refund, they refused. I strongly advise against purchasing through OPODO—it's better to book directly with airlines, and in case of cancellations, request a voucher from them instead of dealing with OPODO.
