“I booked a flight with Opodo and was asked to do a wire transfer. Shortly after the flight was cancelled. I called Opodo several times to get a refund no one picked up the phone even after over 45 minutes waiting time. I sent several emails never got a reply! Stay away from this company, it is a big scam!!!”

“Thieves. Fraudsters. Illegitimate company. Took my money. Refusing to provide the refund. I booked my flight over a year and two months ago and been requesting a refund for 10 months. The airline told me they had sent the refund to Opodo and Opodo keep saying the same thing "request you to wait we've contacted the airline". I have been onto them every week. They have no intention of giving a refund ever. Awful experience.”

“This company rips you off!! Only gave a fraction of our money back and you cannot speak to anyone apart from a idiotic robot online! This company should not be allowed to trade!!! I am going to report this company to the BBC watchdog to make people aware!! DO NOT USE this company!!!”

“4848476484 please avoid at all cost, you know a company is fraudulent when a a customer service advisor refuses to give you his or her name, anyway, my dad is over 80years he books a flight since last year feb, the return flight got cancelled, and a refund was paid from KLM to opodo since last year september, they where denying they did not have the refund until i check and sent them prove that the refund was paid back to opodo from KLM, but they still refused to pay his money back i have spoken to 4 different customer service advisors and have been giving multiple dates, it just sad really my, dad is over 80 doesn't work and stuck at home on this pandemic and constantly stressing about his money, now i have to go break the bad news to him that he might not be getting his money back...... just sad”

“DO not book anything with OPODO. Firstly, they take an arbitrary £9.79 without you knowing anything about it. Then they quite happily put every obstacle in your way to try to resolve any problem you have with them. All the telephone numbers don't work to boot. Useless company.”

“I don't even want to give them a star! As a sixth form student working part time, I booked for 2, to travel to Thailand in July 2020. Unfortunately I cancelled and requested for refund - due to the pandemic. Opodo sent an email asking to call them immediately enquiring us of our options: cancellation or rescheduling flights. We instantly called and requested a refund where Opodo stated they would give a FULL REFUND. They had told us it would take 3 months. That was on 11th May 2020. After 3 months, still nothing. No refund. Then they told us it could another few months. It's been 9 months now and still no refund! Opodo have stated in their emails that the airlines: Thai Airways had not gotten back to them. After writing to Thai Airways, I learnt that it was up to the travel agents, aka Opodo to contact them! This is an absolute disgrace of a travelling company. I am livid. All my hardwork to save up and get scammed by a fraudulent company. Please DO NOT USE Opodo. Book directly through the Airline website.”

“No help what soever Booked but due to Covid19 we had to cancel. As booked with Opodo, BA would not refund/ Voucher. Asked for an amendment, but never got a reply! Lost all money. Never again! Be warned no assistance or money back!”

“No refund for cancelled flights to Colombia in September 2020. Air France provided me with proof they had refunded Opodo in November and we used this for a successful Section 75 full refund via our credit card. Lesson learnt - never use a third-party seller”

“I bought my ticket via Opodo. The flight company cancelled the flight, and I received an e-mail and a call from the Flight company to inform me. Problem is, in the Website of Opodo the flight was confirmed till the end. In the website of course I couldn't do anything as long as the flight is confirmed; So I called the Customer service, then began a long story including multiple calls for reimbursement claim: send us this, confirm this, tell us this.. at the End they told me that my request is registered and that I have to wait till 6 Months to be refunded”

“Dear it seems to Fraudster completely to me. No Contact. Detail all though there are few contacts available online , no one go through. My advice to all read readers if you going to buy tickets through momondo or sky scanner check before booking that either they are contactable company or not. We most of peoples not care until unless we need to do some changes or cancellation, at this point after 06 months i really really Disappointed their response even though bought ticket worth of £487 cancelation policy includes , just got 1 email about saying your refund in process. Really scared either i m going to loose money”

“Still waiting for my 229 euro refund after 7 months of hassling them, I even did their job for them by going direct to the airline to get the money sent back to opodo so it could be refunded to me. They have had the money since 23rd December 2020 and I have been blocked from talking to an agent on the help chat so there is no way of me complaining to them anymore as their email address wont give me a reply either. Absolute crooks and totally negligent money grabbing company, I want my money back why is this not automatically refunded as soon as it hits their account!!!! The help chat is run by a bunch of useless monkeys who have literally no way of helping they just read you what it already says on your dashboard. A true waste of human life. If anyone at Opodo wants to get back to me my booking reference is 5019399138.”

“t is disgusting.! I was charged £59.99 for opodo prime which I didn't even want or requested. I bought one flight and was punished for it. Opodo tricked me and stolen my money. I will tell everyone about it.! And I will write this every where so others dont get robbed as well. You scums.!”

“Opodo booking reference: 6822054150 - I have been waiting on a refund since the 28th of Dec when my flight was cancelled. Every time through my premier account with them, I hear from their customer servicer adviser that my refund will be processed in less than 10 working days. This is a day light robbery. How can I claim my rights here? Dan”
