Car hire rejected to rent the car to me, never happened before in Ireland and they said because my Irish license does have 1 year only, even saying I am a 13'years old experienced driver from my original country, they refused me to rent and simply let me down without any assistance and refund. Opodo simply had ignored it by saying there is statement saying that, but something not visible and also not close to the reality, in their site a company is set to require a 8'years experienced driver when in fact I could rent the car straight from the company, Opodo might be not well seen by its partners and not allowing customers to rent car. I got no refund neither any kind of support from either Opodo or Europcar. Have to manage by myself a car in the last-minute trip. Luck me I found a decent company on my way. Please avoid OPODO as much as you can, terrible experience!!

If you are looking for a travel agency to rip you off, then you find the right one. They took your money but don't book ticket for you, and yet they had the audacity to suggest you to take out unconditional refund insurance. When you call the airline directly you will be surprised that Opodo hasn't even booked the ticket for you. so, NOT COOL! I am looking for a way to press charges on this company at the moment.

If anyone reading this is pondering whether to use Opodo... I beg you to find another travel agency. This is by far the worse company I have ever dealt with, in any industry. Flights for Thailand are booked in September, but have been rescheduled numerous times due to COVID. However, not once have Opodo got in contact to notify us that there has been a change. Plus, when you do finally get in touch with them, they have the incorrect flight information in their systems. In terms of customer service, the staff are rude and lack any ounce of empathy. You will be waiting for 45+ minutes on hold and when you do reach someone they are about as much use as a chocolate teacake. They will promise to contact you... never do. Then to top it off, you can no longer call them unless your flight is in 7 days. Right now we are unsure about our flights and have no way to get any confirmation. Do not trust your money with this service, far better travel agencies out there compared to this farcical excuse of a travel company.

I wonder why UK authorities allow Indian thiefs to steal money from UK citizens. This company is a scam and typical indian fraudsters. Very tough to get money back from Indians. Professional 5000 years old ancestral thiefs. Stay away.

WATCH OUT FOR OPODO!! I booked, the same second as they had taken my money i came straight to a page that said the flight was cancelled. I was unable to rebook or get a refund. Only got a voucher for the same airline which was no help to me as the next flight was 10 days later. WATCH OUT!!

Absolute criminal. Have been calling hours and hours and wasting my time to update my tickets, which they changed. Very poor customer service. Keeps telling you lies and says will call back, never does. Someone call me back to sort this mess out on 07957661327 Still waiting.

Stay away from Opodo. Please! Thank me later. The company as well as all the employees working there work really hard to scam people. I booked a flight which was cancelled due to Covid. The airline refunded Opodo but after many many months, I didn't see that money back. After months of haggling with them, I got a small fraction of that money back, the rest they stated were for their "platform services". This is ridiculous. No service, means full money back. As a previous Opodo Prime member, I didn't get appropriate phone, email or any other form of customer service either. That is one of a serious scam company and I am not sure how they are allowed to operate on the German market. Germany needs to do something about this and ban them from operating here.

We booked return flights to Shetland last Nov.We were booked to travel in May.Flights were cancelled due to Covid.Therefore entitled a refund.We were not offered this option and the phone lines were not taking calls.So no refund.Shoddy Service.Never again

"Had booked 2 Delta Airline tickets through OPODO in the month of February 2020 with travel dates in March. Had to cancel my trip due to the Pandemic. I have been chasing OPODO for refund of money. They never get back. Their call centre is a scam. Wrote to Delta Airline requesting my money, they were professional enough to get back to me in just 4 days. They in-fact told me that they are okay in refunding my money, all they want is OPODO to make a request. I have been chasing OPODO for almost 5 months. Now, I feel I have been scammed. I will never deal with OPODO, NEVER. I request others as well to deal with other online sites and avoid getting cheated by OPODO".

Awaiting refund from March for return journey they tell wait 90 days then yesterday lie to me saying airline says 12 months spoke to airline they have already refunded opodo Who can make these Lying bunch of thieves return our money anyone who can help please advise us

Terrible service. I booked three flights through Opodo for which I was charged a (well hidden) admin fee of £38.14. When all of these flights were cancelled there was no refund option on the Opodo website or app so I had to call customer services. First call disconnected after 30 mins. Second call got through after 70 minutes of waiting. Was told the admin fee was non refundable but that I would be refunded for the flights. Received a call back at 9pm on a Friday night to say that they could only refund two flights and the third I would have to apply for myself. Still no refund of admin fees despite the time I had wasted on the phone and the fact that Opodo were doing very little. Very noisy call centre and difficult to hear/understand what the staff were saying. All round bad service.

Do not use Opodo if you expect any kind of customer services. They did not get back to us over an issue regarding the ESTA Visa which we paid for through them. We had to pay extra for the ESTA. This issue is still unresolved. This problem started before the coronavirus so they cannot use this as a reason.

Report these scammers please!! coronavirus-business-complaint.service.gov.uk Booked my flight London-Athens for 1 July 2020, got cancelled as Greece extended the travel ban on direct flights from the UK. Wizzair repaid Opodo on 2 July, and I have two letters from the airline confirming that. Opodo kept saying they know nothing about my refund, and only on 19/07 they agreed to ‘claim’ my refund, saying it will take 90 days. For what, for the money that had already been sent to their account? As far as I can see, none here got their money back from them even after 90 days. Takes over an hour to connect with anyone on their customer service.

Shocking company/ scammers in disguise, cancelled my holiday 2 months ago and when I call to get my money back, leave me on hold for an hour at a time. Tell me they will get back to me in 24 hours but just don’t call back. Happened for a month every couple of days. Rang today, another hour wait spewed the same Scripted responses to get you off the phone. When I asked to speak to a manger they ended the call. They will not give your money back, they have robbed tens of thousands of people over lockdown for what is probably millions of pounds worth of holidays. Worst of the worst- Do Not Book with OPODO

My flights with Tui which I purchased through Opodo were cancelled by Tui. Tui have notified me of this not Opodo. Tui have organised a refund- sadly to Opodo. Refind has gone through. Again Opodo has not contacted me. I have tried to contact Opodo to get my money back. I can't contact them on the phone as my flights were not scheduled until 16th August and apparently Opodo will only speak to customers with flights in the next 7 days. I have tried online but the Opodo website tells me to contact Tui to ask for a refund. I am going round and round in circles. I have no flights and no refund. Thanks Opodo this is a new low in customer service I will never use the Opodo site again. I am now off to contact my credit card company to see if they can help resolve this.

Our return flights were cancelled due to the Corona Virus. We contacted Opodo and we hung on the line for 45 mins spoke to somebody for 5 mins and were then cut off. Tried again, waited another 45 mins spoke to some foreign guy and he said he was going to sort the refund out. We have tried numerous times to contact them and you just cant get through, online is even worse. Is there not an Ombudsman we can go to for these Travel Companies to try get our money back? No star rating !!!
