WORST experience ever!!! check in impossible. We must made ti directly by Airlaine check-in on Airport desk. Paid additional costs for nothing. Try to call for several hours but nobody response. Stay away from this company!

I booked a short one hour flight from Lombok to Bali through Opodo recently. An option on their website was to pre purchase excess baggage. I paid $130 to increase Citilink Air allowance to 50 kg. When I arrived at Lombok airport for check-in Citilink had not received the $130 from Opodo, I therefore had to pay the $130 again, in cash at the check-in. I emailed Opodo 2 weeks ago regarding this and have received no response.

I wanted to change the date of departure,I tried contacting them via Chat with an agent, but it was a chatbot that kept making me go in loops without solving anything! And they said they are a global site but their customer support number is only a UK number! They wanted me to buy completly NEW FLIGHT. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Never more

Do NOT use Opodo! They charged me ANNUAL Prime membership without giving a warning that the free trial period is ending soon! Cancelling the prime membership took many clicks. They are really trying to trap as many people as possible with this scam method. I tried contacting them via Chat with an agent, but it was a chatbot that kept making me go in loops without solving anything! Definitely do NOT recommend Opodo.

Do NOT use Opodo! I would put 0 star if I can. They charged me ANNUAL Prime membership without giving a warning that the free trial period is ending soon! That's GBP 60! Cancelling the prime membership took many clicks. They are really trying to trap as many people as possible with this scam method. I tried contacting them via Chat with an agent, but it was a chatbot that kept making me go in loops without solving anything! And they said they are a global site but their customer support number is only a UK number! This is really frustrating! I bet you this would be the similar customer experience service if you have trouble with the trip. Definitely do NOT recommend Opodo.

I would put 0 star but I can't. Scam and rubbery, that are the 2 most convenient adjectives I can use. Short story, I booked a ticket via Opodo with British Airways. There was a clear message saying that I can add a baggage after the booking without any condition. The day before I've tried to add baggage but I'm unable to do it. I've spent 4 hours with the customer service on the phone and all they could confirm is that "They are sorry for giving a wrong information and they can do nothing for me" and "I can add baggage in the airport" without giving any guarantee that I can do it, and without details on the cost price. Knowing that I have 60kg baggage, I don't want to take a risk and go blindly to the airport. As a result, I'll need to book another ticket, take 1 or 2 more nights in the hotel in London, and I don't talk about the waste of time and energy, stress and other prejudice. Anyway I've recorded the conversation, I'll take Opodo to court

I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to so I could open the box to give my review. I will never use this company again night before flying out I printed my boarding passes only to discover no luggage for the whole of my family except two so franticly phoned Opodo up and was advise yes should be I said it’s not so was advised nothing they can do and give me Wizz airlines number for me to sort out and was advised if I had to pay for my luggage Opodo would refund me Not what you want to hear the night before flying out . Then only to discover I had been given a Polish telephone number . So I had to re phone Opodo to talk to yet another operator and yet again explain everything only to be told yet again I would have to sort it myself and they would refund me for their mistake . So at my wits end I had to sort it out with Wizz air who had to cancel my booking in so I could add our cases and pay for themas Opodo hadn’t paid for my luggage . Previous in the week I had also paid Opodo to add two cases on my return flight with BA which I discovered on return they had not added yet again. Armed with all my receipts and proof of all their mistakes what I thought would be an easy refund has turned into a nightmare they have only paid half my money back . I will be taking action against them if this is not sorted and will be going to omnibusman . All I want is my money back they blundered . I wouldn’t recommend this company at all and customer service is unreal . Have spoke to people and emailed

Booked a flight with Opodo in March to travel in late December, but then getting an email on the 02 of November that my flight has been cancelled. I understand that this wasn't Opodo's fault, but it has been 5 days now since I have been requesting a refund for the cancelled flight and haven't received any confirmation that they will even refund my money back. I have spoken to the airline directly, and they told me that they will refund in full, but it has to come through Opodo. So for me, it was the first and last time that I have used Opodo as it has been a terrible experience. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Worst experience ever! My flight was cancelled and opodo is refusing to act according to european law! Theyre criminals and scammers! Never going to book with them again! Im still waiting for my refund! I can only warn people to stay away from Opodo!

PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.THEY SCAM YOU. THEY SHOW LOW PRICE ON FINAL SCREEN BUT AMOUNT THAT GETS DEDUCTED IS WAY HIGH. AND THEN THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

Three travellers booked a return flight to Delhi. All three of us were supposed to have same bags on return but Virgin app said hand baggage only. Apparently this happens a lot. Won’t be using them again. We have to pay for the two suitcases and attempt a refund. Opodo wouldn’t sort their error directly.

They are completely scammers.. I paid money for extra baggage, but it was not registered at the airport. And they are liars, what is bought from them is completely different from what is in the checkin

I bought an airplane ticket in September 2023 through Opodo (from a link provided by skyscanner) and then notice a month later Opodo charge me 80 EUR for a Prime Membership I NEVER ASKED FOR and I NEVER REGISTERED FOR. They charged my credit card a second time with no prior notice, nor any kind of agreement from me (I didn't even signup to their site). On their membership site I cannot discard the credit card nor stop the membership nor ask for refund or anything. So I phoned them 45 minutes international call with 3 different agents none were able to discard my credit card from their database or cancel my membership and refund. At the end Opodo is making it impossible to get back my money and who knows what they will do with my credit card I need to cancel it I think. I am now in contact with my lawyer. Opodo is pure scam, fraudster at its best, Avoid Opodo like plague.

I booked flights for myself and my husband with Opodo. 10 days before my flight, I got an email that my booking is not valid anymore and I could only sort it out with the airline. The airline wasn't able to give me any information, because I haven't booked it with them. So I had to check in early, just to make sure that I actually have a flight, which costed me additional fees, for the early check in.

Never a straight forward process. My flight started at £12 and ended up costing £160, then I get a message from Ryan Air to say that they 'don't always get the correct customer info' from Opodo and I had to go though a lengthy procedure, downloading an app and then sending phot ID and MORE MONEY. Total joke.

I booked a flight through Opodo, and later that month I received an email telling me that my ‘complementary Opodo Prime account would be automatically renewed for around £60’! As I had never signed up for this in the first place, I obviously tried to cancel it immediately. I first tried their ‘recommended method’ of the app: after going through about half a dozen pages of ‘WARNING’ and ‘ARE YOU SURE?’ against cancellation, then the page would freeze and the ‘cancel my subscription’ would not work. After trying this a few times with no further luck, I tried to cancel online, following their instructions (which, incidentally, claimed this to be ‘very easy’). Again, on the final step I kept getting ‘sorry, we have encountered a problem’, rather conveniently. I tried this for a couple of days, with the same result. I then tried their chat bot facility: when I clicked on their ‘easy to cancel’ button, it kept taking me back to the beginning of the chat. Eventually, I tried the ‘VIP prime service’ number that they quoted on their email, which was actually incorrect. I searched online and found the correct number, which I rang. After holding on for over 35 minutes for their ‘VIP service’ (!!!), the agent again tried all the ‘are you sure ?’ and all sorts of stalling and delaying tactics, eventually agreeing to cancel this. The call took me over an hour overall! This is an unacceptable con, trying to blindside people to signing up to this useless service, and then do everything possible to prevent you cancelling. It is surely illegal??? Anyway, AVOID AT ALL COSTS: IT WILL COST YOU, LITERALLY!!
