“Have used before but never again! Promised delivery for Thurs then changed to Friday but no delivery! Can't track deliveries, slow to respond and missed promised delivery dates. (note they used to provide tracking but don't know - what kind of company goes backward) Seriously what else does an online tyre company do except stock and deliver??? ... and they can't get the delivery right!!!”

“After noting the company had a UK registered business address I ordered 4 winter wheels and tyres for a trip to the alps I had booked 2 weeks later thinking this allowed plenty of time for delivery. It turns out they were actually dispatched from Poland and Germany respectively meaning they took a full working week to arrive at the fitter's. When the garage came out to fit them it transpired the wrong wheels had been sent. After calling twice and emailing pictures of the incorrect item they accepted the wrong item had been sent and I was given a collection date. I was then informed the replacement correct wheels would not be dispatched until the wrong wheels had been picked up....despite this being entirely the fault of Oponeo. Sadly the replacement wheels will now not arrive in time meaning the trip will need to be rescheduled, resulting in a lot of stress, hassle, and losing the value of the hotel booking I had made. If they had simply dispatched a replacment straight away as is the norm this could all have been avoided. They made be good value if you don't mind the wait and don't have a deadline but otherwise it's not worth the stress. The worst online buying experience I've had in a long time!”

“My tyre has been returned to APC, Openo nominate return courier, I personally handed to the driver. Openo refusing to refund me as APC have not updated Openo, not sure who’s error but Open refusing refund, Order No OPONEO ORDER 78981141, waiting since 6th July”

“Ordered two continental tyres from oponeo and when fitted felt vibration in the car, took back to garage as thought they hadn’t torqued up properly only to find one tyre is badly affected. Disputed with oponeo who said they had to review it with their expert before contacting Germany. They came back saying nothing wrong with tyre and to turn it 180 degrees on the wheel and it should sort out the problem. I took a video of it and an expert garage told me it is because of a flat spot in the tyre because the tyres are not being sold quickly and are stood up instead of on their side and develop a flat spot. Don’t buy tyres from here please use somewhere else. These guys are the worst I have come across no apology or help. Watch out for old tyres sitting in stock and sold cheaply. My eyes were turned.”

“Ordered and paid for tyre, then 6 days later get an email saying it’s been lost in the post lol a 21” tyre lost in the post? I know load of rubbish right. Anyway I said ok send another they said none left in stock, I look on there site and guess what, that’s right they where still for sale but £18 dearer now. Not the best place to buy tyres. My advise would be avoid them. Still waiting for a refund to.”

“Don't use Oponeo. They promised the tyres they supplied would be less than three years old. >All the tyres that we offer are new, and of an age not higher than 36 months.... The high online shop standards of Oponeo.co.uk are completely in accordance with tyre manufacturers' guidelines which acknowledge tyres not older than 3 years as brand new. Two of the four tyres I received were nearly four years old and Oponeo refused to replace them and only offered £10 per tyre compensation which was less then 10% of the cost. Fortunately for me I was able to recover the full value through my household legal cover.”

“Terrible customer service - do not buy if you are in a hurry for your tyres! I received a false shipping notification after 24 hours, and after my tyres did not arrive I found out they didn’t even have them in stock! I was lied to on the phone and the tyres eventually arrived one week later. I had to re arrange my garage appointment, and had a week with no car. Avoid, unless you have time to wait.”

“DO NOT DEAL WITH OPONEO !!! For a week I made an order, but never received it. They said it was out of stock but on the website is available for purchase. They charge you money but they don’t have tires on hand. Now they do not want to return the money, they are blackmailing, they are asking to close the PayPal dispute. All this looks like a fraud. DO NOT DEAL WITH OPONEO !!!”

“Ordered 4 tyres. 2 got delivered within a week by DPD. The remaining 2 have disappeared, last tracked in Manchester and not seen since. I've used Openeo for tyres on 6 other occasions without an issue. However, after contacting Openeo, they refused to either refund me for the missing tyres or dispatch another 2. They said they would not refund me until DPD had reimbursed them for the cost of the tyres. So after 6 weeks of waiting for the tyres or a refund, I contacted my bank. The customer service when needed is non existant. Eastern European company who couldn't care less about customer experience or reputation.”

“This company is terrible to deal with, to be avoided. Having been in business for almost 50 years i have never experienced this frustration of dealing with such incompetence and rudeness. Take my advice, there are better places to buy your tyres from.”

“Bitterly disappointed. I needed a tyre quick so thought I would try Oponeo. I ordered the tyre Sunday and it was delivered Thursday to one of their recommended fitters. Only they delivered the wrong tyre in the wrong size to one of their recommended fitters. They now refuse to refund me until they receive the tyre back!! Not sure why I should be further inconvenienced for their mistake. Won't be using again or recommending.”

“SHOP ELSEWHERE What you don't no is they charge you 80 pound to return by them only. They then don't refund you don't answer messages o and very rude customer services steer clear cowboy company. Had to get PayPal involved taken over 2 weeks to get refund and they still charged me 80 pounds return charge. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE DO NOT SHOP HERE”

“I first ordered tyres in December for my wifes jeep I receiuved 1 tyre in 3 to 4 days after ordering and the other tyres 3 weeks later. I put this down to the Christmas period, I have just ordered 2 x 205,60,16 Hankook aventus, the web site took the order and the payment from paypal for the tyres and 3 and a half hours later I get a call to say the tyres are out of stock and that they have other tyres they can send instead but the wanted another 15 euro per tyre. I have to say that this company seem like gangsters. my advice buy tyres somewhere with a goo reputation, the agent I spoke with was absolutely terrible to deal with, I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager and was told they will be back in February after waiting for 5 minutes for him to come back to me. save yourself the hassle buy else where. if I could give a lower star I would terrible customer service.”

“Avoid at any cost. I ordered and paid for two Tyres (Pirelli PZero 275/35 R20 102 Y RUN ON FLAT XL-order number 72139681) but after a week, just received one tyre. Tried to call them but I was put on hold for one hour and 30 minutes without any response. I emailed them but nobody replies. I still waiting for my other tyre and a proper explanation”
