“wish i had done it sooner”

“Three months on, my vision is still great and eyes are much more comfortable than the first month. I have not experienced any issues or dryness of the eyes. It is definitely great not to have to wake up in the morning and wear my glasses or contact lenses. Very happy with the results. The level of aftercare is also good with a number of checkups, would recommend.”

“Fantastic to finally be able to see properly after wearing glasses for around 15 years. The surgery although scary was over in minutes and although i was in pain once I got home, after a little sleep i could see and had no pain. Highly reccomend the surgery”

“I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT GOING AHEAD WITH LASER SURGERY BUT FELT REASSURED BY MY APPOINTMENTS AND ADVICE GIVEN. FELT NERVOUS AGAIN WHEN I HAD TO SIGN THE CONSENT FORM AS A LONG LIST OF NEW POTENTIAL PROBLEMS. HOWEVER, WENT AHEAD. I FOUND THE PROCEDURE MORE UNCOMFORTABLE THAN I WAS EXPECTING AND HAD TO GO TO SLEEP FOR THE REST OF THE DAY AS MY EYES WERE SO STINGING AND GRITTY, BUT THE NEXT MORNING I COULD READ NUMBER PLATES AND MY EYES FELT MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE AND CONTINUED TO IMPROVE. THEY WERE MUCH LESS DRY THAN I WAS EXPECTING TOO. I'M GLAD I DID IT. I NOW HAVE BETTER THAN 20:20 VISION AND IT'S CHANGED MY LIFE.”

“My initial treatment with optical express was treated extremely proffessionally and the quality of care that I recieved was very good. I required a small corrective procedure that was treated in the same manner. All members of staff have acted professionally and apart from sometimes having to wait a while for my appointment, I have been very impressed. Since my treatment I've tried to spread the word as best as I can and have even given a patients perspective for the Southampton University opthamalmic society. Overall it has been a fantastic and life changing experience.”

“I didn't realise how poor my vision was before this, but I went for the Wavefront Intralase treatment, and the change is amazing! I can now go back and do another Bungee Jump and I'll be able to see everything! It's changed my life, I'd recommend it to anyone!”

“It has transformed my life, I no longer have to worry about putting in contacts, wearing glasses. I can stay at friends houses overnight on the spur of the moment, rather than having to plan and bring contact lens solution etc. Optical Express have been extremly professional and I felt confident the whole way through the process from initial consultation to surgery to follow up appointments.”

“I am very pleased with the improved vision in my eyes I have better than 20 20 vision.I am still experiencing some dryness in my eyes but have been told this is normal and to carry on using the drops provided”

“I feel that I have been cared for from the moment I came into the store asking about surgery. It has been amazing being able to do simple things without wearing my glasses! Vision in my left eye is so good the near 20/20 vision in my right one looks odd!”

“I had procranstinated for years fearing it would be a torturous experience, with hindsight I wish i had it done sooner. It has been a liberating experience, particularly with regards to outdooor activities such as my golfing. Well worth th einvestment.”

“I've had a really good experience with Optical Express, from the initial consultation, through surgery and the follow up appointments. The only bad thing was that my 1 week and 1 month follow ups were both booked in and then I got a confirmation with a different time - not great but the staff recognised the admin error and sorted things out. Thanks Optical Express - I love my new eyes”

“I am so glad I had it done, the surgery has transformed my life, I even look ten years younger! After much research I chose Optical Express and fr5om beginning to end thay have looked after me in a friendly and proffessional manner. The actual procedure was so quick I was amazed how soon I could see, far better results than I imagined.”
