“Laser eye surgery was life changing, in a good way! My eyesight is absolutely perfect now and I can crack on with my sports completely carefree. From -8.5 in both eyes to 20/20 in just two weeks of recovery! Night time driving and dry eyes aren't a great concern to me, I can only hope for any future Optical Express customer to have as positive an experience as I've had.”

“Having the surgery has been amazing. All the staff on the day of procedure were fantastic and put me at ease. I was surpirse how easy and quick the procedure was too and there was no pain at the time or after! The aftercare has been brilliant too. I was just sick of wearing glasses but there have been many more things that have changed that I didn't expect. I don't have to worry about my glasses steaming up when I come inside on a cold day, don't have to switch been prescription glasses and sunglasses on a bright day and I don't have to worry about bashing anyone with my glasses when I give them a cuddle! Love it and would recommend it to everyone.”

“I found glasses quite irritating to wear. I had put off laser surgery for years, fear of the unknown? but bit the bullet and how mistaking I was. The whole procedure was simple, quick and effective from the word go! Glasses free and can see - would recommend laser treatment to anyone.”

“the whole process from start to finish(nearlty finished my after care) has been utterly seamless thanks to the staff, always put at ease, no high and mighty them and us attitude. Always got a little smile on there face(maybe i just got them on good days) haven't got a bad word to say about the whole process.”

“I am very happy with the whole of my laser eye surgery experience. Care has been thorough yet efficient and prompt. The actual procedure itself was a little uncomfortable and the theatre weren't v sympathetic, but it was worth it. Aftercare has been exceptional.”

“Was a little hesitant at first but since iv had it done theres been no real pain just some discomfort but as my vision has improved gradually getting better and better its become evadintly clear it was well worth the hassle”

“The procedure itself was not even as bad as a visit to the dentist for a filling, and considerably shorter and any discomfort was obliterated by the thrill of being able to see properly immediately. This has been a life-changing experience. Many thanks. (P.S. My only complaint - you are a long way from North Wales!)”

“Although the surgery itself was uncomfortable, the care that I experienced was good and the results have definately been worth the few days discomfort. “I was very pleased with the whole process. I had the procedure very quickly (one week after consultation) and a few weeks later I feel like my life is now in HD. I'm definately appreciating my vision more. Not only that, my sister-in-law was with me throughout and now she wants it done too! The surgeon was amazing and put me at my ease. I can't believe how quick it was. The only thing I would suggest as improvement is to explain the aftercare drops etc before having the procedure. Because although they give a leaflet and explain after the procedure I found that I was preoccupied with how my eyes were feeling and at home I couldn't read the leaflet.”

“The procedure was over it seemed within 1 minute from lying down in front of the laser. Felt a bit sore and groggy for 4 hours but then felt able to perform as ususal ever since. Every day the clarity seemed to sharpen. Can now walk into a pub without steaming up or walk in drizzle without constantly wiping my lenses. Very pleased.”

“I'm so pleased that I don't have to wear glasses anymore - I can bake without them steaming up when I open the oven, shop at ease and see the price and size tags clearly and no longer get accused of ignoring folk as I can see them coming! Laser treatment has made my life so much easier and in this day and age, anything that does that has to be a bonus!”

“I decided to have laser eye surgery because my optician was struggling to balance distance and near vision with contact lenses, and even varifocal glasses weren't really satisfactory (I moved to contact lenses to avoid having to wear glasses!). This meant that most activities, from reading to golfk, proved challenging and less enjoyable than they should. The team at my initial consultation was extremely thorough and professional ... so much so that I signed on the dotted line immediately. The surgery team was, again, extremely thorough and professional, talking me through the procedure calmly and answering all my questions. Following treatment, I was disappointed by the level of discomfort I suffered (it seemed extreme compared to what I'd been advised to expect), but this did only last until the next morning, when I was delighted to wake up to find that I could see without the aid of glasses or contact lenses! Since then, my eyes have continued to heal according to plan, and I can only say that I would recommend this treatment to anyone considering it ... the results can truly be life-changing!”
