“A little discomfort at first as expected, then got better and better with dry eyes slowly clearing, with improved long sight immediate.”

“I was intiallly anxious about the whole procedure but was reassured in confidence firmly and promptly.The professionalism of the staff and surgeons gave me cause to go ahead with the surgery immediately and reaffirmed any concerns I had in pretence to my procedure.”

“Optical Express staff across the courtry have really looked after me during my treatment. You feel that everyone is interested in your well being and the success of your treatment. The actual operation is fast and painless and the eyesight improvement is immediate. Oh what a joy to be able to read without searching for spectacles! Something I havent been able to do for 20 years.”

“From beginning to end, I was looked after with care and everything was clearly explained at every stage. The difference in lifestyle is amazing. After just one eye had been treated I was amazed to find I was adjusting a tiny screw without spectacles without thinking - not just seeing the screw but the groove in it! All the staff at Southampton and in London have been friendly, making you very relaxed about the procedure. Thank you.”

“Not having a really bad prescription I was able to see a lot during the surgery which freaked me out a lot, other than that the surgery went well, my healing is still ongoing with a dry right eye, but overall I am very pleased with not having to wear glasses that were getting in the way of my hobbies.”

“Despite being cared for across two practices (York and Leeds), I received the same high standard of care at both, and all members of staff were aware of my needs. I was nervous before the treatment, but was calmed down by the nurses, and before I knew it, it was done! Brilliant aftercare, and a wonderful technician who has kept an eye on me during my post-op care.”

“I was very apprehensive before surgery but the experience was nothing to have been worried about. I wish I had utubed the op before and seen how it is done - especially Philip Schofield's surgery for 'This Morning' - easy peasy - a little discomfort but it doesn't hurt at all :)”

“Almost no discomfort at all. The surgery was quick and unusual rather than unpleasent. All staff I have found helpful, infromed and attentive. Minimal waiting and plenty of infromation. It was alittle un-nerving, whilst waiting for my op. another customer came out looking frail. Otherwise my experience has been wonderful.”

“Surgery was not painful but I did experience discomfort afterwards worse than anticipated, however this went away after about a week and my vision is great apart from some dryness and needing to wear sun glasses in the sunshine (not a bad thing). I use the dry eye drops and they really help the dry eyes so it is not a real problem for me. The staff at the surgery centre in nottingham and in derby have been really nice and helpful and I am very pleased with the service i have received.”

“The process was amazing right from the start. I was intially worried as, of course, anyone would be. However, right from the inital visit I was comforted and helped by every member of staff. The surgery itself was incredible, no pain and perfect vision almost right away.”
