About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Can’t knock Outback equipment but the product I brought being the footwell poly tank was disappointing. I ended up having to buy the right fittings as the kit didn’t suit

Shipping was quick website easy to use. Tyre deflectors are mint easy to use. The multi tyre inflator is good but confused why it has 2 short hoses and 2 long hoses used it to pump tires up checked then after words the fronts were 37 and rears 47 surely the hoses being the same.length would even it out abit more?

Brought the 4 tyre inflator de flator It's got some leaks in the fittings I can live with it but it's disappointing and the air line ball valve was screwed in of centre All in all great kit just needs them 2 things addressed and it would be very satisfying Small things that separates poor workmanship to excellent reviews! I do recommend the product as it is definitely better than the old way

Hi, good to see you are back atd work. I was looking for a Sphere tv, but I see you do not carry them. I tried to ring last week or so, hard to get through and when I did, just got the answering service with no option to leavae a message. I got onto your chat system online, and was told you were offline. You never got back to me, so I bought a Furrion air conditioner from Jasco instead, and a Majestic tv direct from them in Southport. Coulda spent $2,000 with you, but you were unresponsive

First item, a Camec breakaway arrived damaged. The packaging was destroyed, the outer case of the unit was cracked and the battery would not charge due to damaged circuit board. I purchased another from Outback Equip which was OK.

Communication was very lacking. I had two orders about a week apart. The second order arrived within 10 days. The first order hadn't even left. I enquired why it hadn't left and all I got was we are waiting on one of the items. All the items were in stock apparently according to the website the whole time i was waiting. This missing item wasn't communicated to me until I enquired after almost 3 weeks. That's poor customer service and something that infuriates me and I'm sure plenty of other people.

I purchased rear canvas seat covers for a 150 series Toyota Prado, they claimed to be tailored to the vehicle. The seat covers did not match my vehicle and they ripped while trying to install them so was unable to send them back, ended up taking them to an upholster to re see them up and fit them properly. Possible for a different car but I just think poor quality. Service and postage time was great

Sold me spmething you didnt have in stocj which caused a delay in recieving the product I didnt know it was out of stock until i started chasing it up and then was provided with a varity of different answers. The centre matress (infaltable couch) seems to have a slow leak Not great in a new product

Hi Ordered a plug and play trailer light kit.Received it, fitted it and the lefthand indicator didnt work. Contacted your office and received an email outlining what was required from my end. I did what I was required and replied to that email on the 10 june. Have rang since then but still waiting on an anwser. Regards Colin Machin

Product was good as was the delivery time and cost but you were let down by the courier company you used. I've had two deliveries now to our apartment where we were waiting and on both occasions the delivery driver didn't bother to ring our doorbell to let us know the package had arrived but lazily just propped it next to the main entrance door and left. This means both packages, of considerable value, were left in an extremely exposed and insecure location. Not only that there were specific instructions as to where to leave the package if we were not home which the driver couldn't be bothered reading. I suggest in future you do not allocate any further business to Couriers Please. Regards, Brian

I got a sku014384-a with know problem and now I would like to get a key and barrel too that handle you also send a door handle instead of a lock and barrel

One hose was blocked due to overtighted fittings on the oring. It was a easy fix in the end but quality control could have been better
