About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

“After ordering a stone guard for my pop top goldstream pop top caravan and receiving same… only to discover that the a frame was too narrow for the mounting points on the stone guard… Fortunately I have been able to engineer an adaptation to hopefully make it work… I start my adventure next week across Gibb river road and outback QLD and WA… Also tube frames are very light so after over tensioning the mesh screws … I had to use oversized screws… Thanks anyway… I hope it all holds up…”

“Generic online experience, only it took 7 days after taking my payment to dispatch my item. I wouldn't recommend the online experience if you expect a timely service as you would expect from a business with online frontage.”

“Product is does not fit together, 12v camp shower and turf terrain 40ltr foot well tank. Pump won't fit through the hole.”

“The product was fine but only by sheer luck as once again it was extremely poorly packaged. The last item we purchased was smashed in the mail , this was a metal item with a hose type end for cleaning the water tankso was ok however it was put in a plastic bag only and had torn straight through the packaging , you need to sort out your packaging, bubble wrap guys”

“Happy enough on how easy this was for a Xmas present for my son in law BUT the first certificate which was to be received Xmas eve via email was not received so I had no present for Xmas morning:) so I had to chase this up with Outback Equipment upon our retun.”

“Not really happy. You couldn't supply the product we ordered and paid for, then the promised call back didn't happen as promised so I had to call to chase things up. The only good thing was we received the refund as promised.”

“Have bought a few items from them now and I am happy with the quality. However, on all occasions, it has taken around 3 weeks to get here in Melbourne. Not sure why the time when you can get deliveries form China in less than ten days”

“My experience with your staff was very good it’s just the product that I was not happy with time it took to arrive &. When installing it holes not lining up so having to drill them out that shouldn’t happen extra cost is time and paint wasn’t happy”

“Haven’t found a flat surface to use it yet. All the transport dept slabs are gated and locked, so can’t use them. You’d think if the scaley's want people to travel with a safe load these roadside check points would be available to the public.”
