About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Order to way to long to be delivered. I won't purchase again unless it's in store. The bag I bought has already ripped. I'm not even going to bother with emails and waiting two months for a replacement.

Was promised delivery within 1 week after 6 working days I rang and follwed up to be told everything was in stock except the filler. I then waited another 3 working days and followed up again now to be told the filler was in but the tank went to someone else. I then got a refund on my credit card and had to drive in and pick up the rest of the gear I was never refunded my freight that I prepaid and I had to purchase another tank drive to tringalpa and I found Amy's attitude frustrating she didn't care and kept refering to her company policy. Many things could have been done but if I waited for outback equipment I would not have made my trip even though I purchased weeks prior im not happy and your company still owes me the freight!!!!

Won't shop here ever again.ordered a buck knife that was in stock paid excess postage for a trip. After a week asked where my order was told waiting on the supplier. After a month cancelled my order.

The cover completelly ripped out on the corners and now it is completelly ripped out in half along the top.

Not a great light. The flimsy reflective shroud is quite large and light weight making it bulky and easily damaged. In fact mine arrived in the mail from Outback Equipment dinted and damaged while still in the original packaging! In the hope to use the light for a group camping trip I ordered 3 lights, but they were just too bulky to carry (there were not measurement of the light on the website). I wanted to change them for the more compact and robust Explore Planet Earth Light. I returned the lights to Outback Equipment in the same packageing as it was sent to me in (at $28 freight charge per $100 light to me!) I was told by Outback Equipment that the packaging and lights were too damaged to resell, so they offered me bugger all refund!! I can image they were damaged. They are flimsy and were not well packed on my receipt!!! Outback Euipment wanted me to have photos of the lights as I received them, but did not have photos of the lights in their dispatch packaging on sending them to me, so they dont know how they were packaged or the condition they were in at time of dispatch. Damage in the mail (or their storage) should not be my problem!! Their returns solution is they have offered to send the damaged lights back to me, as long as I pay the freight, for a third time! The freight costs will pretty much equate to the full value of the light refund I would have received! It has been a very difficult process. Beware the returns policy of Outback Equipment, despite their return policy outlined on their website- they have been extremely difficult to return the lights to, and very reluctant to offer a refund on their light oer their terms. I have purchased other things from Outback Equipment with no issue, but these badly packaged lights have been a disaster for me, and OE has been very difficult. I'll go to a store next time.

Was getting a pair of speakers replaced under warranty. It took over 2 months to happen. Equipment was sent to wrong address. Supplier originally refused warranty and then agreed adding 6weeks to while episode. It was a really slow process and Outback Equipment staff did not know how to handle it until manager involvement.

The roof rack I ordered arrived damaged and unusable, I’ve had to delay my work trip with no confirmation of when this will be rectified, I will think twice before using outback equipment.

Outback equipment failed to ship my items within 3 weeks of purchase. It took a further few weeks of stalling by their customer service personnel before I managed to get a refund. Re-Ordered my items direct off the OEM and they were on my doorstep in 2 days. Will never use outback again.

Company should give refunds when incorrect battery supplied for maglite and correct battery not available. Shouldn't be forced to use in store credit on unwanted products. This will obviously affect my future use of your services as don't want in store credits again.pity as would have gone with your company otherwise Regards Tomas ps next question asked how long it took to gain refund is this possible as wasn't advised this

I take ages to respond. All phone numbers unattended. Received the same faulty item back after waiting for the "replacement delivery" I will be lucky to get what I paid for??? After this Martyrium is over, I will never ever look at this "company" Special thanks to Joel.
