“Ox Car Care are scammers! My engine light came on after I had their policy for three months. I took the car to a Professional Auto Repair that has excellent reputation in our community. The did diagnosis of the problem and submitted it to Ox Car Care. It took Ox Car Care 3 days to get back to the auto repair shop. They denied the claim. No written explanation nor no phone call to me. I tried for days to contact them. Finally I called customer service as if I were a wanna be customer of their program. When the agent realized I was an existing customer he said he would talk to a manager. Guess what? I never got a call back nor an e-mail. I wisely paid them by American Express where I have been a member for 35 years. American Express has filed a Spam Notice against them and will be returning my monies for now five months of payments. American Express has BLOCKED the payments to them protecting me. I tried to call them again on January 18 getting busy line notice never speaking to anyone. Their message said if you want them to call you hit # 1 which I did. It put me into a voice mail. hahaha SPAM”
“spoke highly of the customer service person he communicated with when asking about the free oil change. He wanted me to know how nice the woman was on the phone, so I’m passing that information on to you.😊 Thank you”
“same experience. paid for 2 years and they start denying claim even thought it is written in the policy. cannot get anywhere past customer service. looking for a lawyer to take my case.”
“These folks who run this company are scammers. They do not stand by what is written in the policy. They tell you in writing to take your vehicle to the issuing dealer and that's exactly what I did. The dealer got the approval of me having the warranty from Ox Car Care representative. The diagnosis was done and my gas tank had go be dropped for further investigation. Ox Care claimed they would only pay if what was found was covered which left me in a difficult position, however my check engine light came on for a reason. So not knowing what was wrong I took a chance on having the mechanic move forward. It ended up being something that was covered by my warranty so the dealership called and said she had good news the problem was covered per her prior conversation with Ox Car Care representative. Well the work bill was sent and Ox Car Care refused to pay, they disputed the hour of labor, they disputed the cost of labor per hour, they disputed the price for the needed part. I understand that dealerships charges more but they requested me take my vehicle to the issuing dealer knowing that. Now they are hanging the phone up in my ear and telling me the dealership is overcharging to fix my car and they are only paying what they want to pay. Now myself and the dealership are trying to figure this out and it seems as if Ox car care is gonna have to be charged for breach of contract. This is NOT a good company in my opinion, more like some scammers trying to prey on people they can take advantage of.”
“They’re obviously writing fictitious reviews to keep a high rating. The stars are either 5 or 1 which tells me the business is writing fake reviews for business”
“I purchased this warranty and regret it! My car wasn't covered and it's almost impossible to reach the Corporate office!! They keep deducting from my account even after policy cancelation! This company is a Scam!!!”
“Checking reviews before I used this Co. Glad I did. This Co. Should be barred by the B.B.B. someone is going to get ripped off by them, and not take it so lightly.”
