“I was waiting for them to pick up a parcel I am sending back to the seller on Tuesday. They said they were going to arrive in between 12 and 16 and they didn't. Next day, on Wednesday they said that they were going to come in some moment in the afternoon and they didn't. Today they promised to come before 3pm and still waiting.
3 days wasted for nothing. I think it is the worst company ever.”
“Driver was only once and left card to collect from far far away depot, but tricking said he was 3 times! Rubbish! And last time he left my parcel at post office and did not left card, and tracking showed ,,back to warehouse,, and Adidas told me that my parcel is at post office!”
“Yet another parcel not delivered because they claim nobody was available. No card left as they say. Probably once again gone to the wrong house or just couldn't be bothered.”
“parcel was shipped to Australia but they wouldn't release it because they said I had not weighted it wrong by 120kg the mistake was not mine, because I ask for evidence to surport there claim they took the additional moneys out of my paypal with out my permission saying that its in there terms and conditions if I had read these comments before I used there company I would have and there costumer service is non existence stay clear”
“Worst service under the sun. My parcel has been sent to the wrong depot 5 TIMES. I understand there may be a mistake, possibly 2, but 5 times? Every time i called explained the situation given my details and every time I have been assured it would be with me next day, and surprise every single time they messed up. Avoid at all costs there are a million better companies that can handle your parcels.”
“The driver did not Have enough sense to ring the doorbell. Our door bell is portable on the inside so I hear it wherever I am in the house. Nor did he bother to try to leave my parcel with a neighbour. It is 5.45 pm on a Friday night so I guess he has had enough for today.my parcel left the depot at 7.58am this morning and the driver just got to us at 5.45 pm. This is a bank holiday so I will have to wait until Tuesday for my parcel. Not good enough. Very bad service. I rang parcel force at 6.10 pm and asked if the driver could return but was told that was not possible.. Why bother to have express delivery at all. Not impressed. No initiative shown what so ever. Very poor service.”
“Driver said he attempted to deliver parcel. I had been waiting for a parcel all day. No one came to the door. No card was left , driver just to lazy to get out of his/her van. Disgraceful service. This is not the first time this has happened. When will suppliers stop using Royal Mail. There are many cheaper and better companies out there.”
“If I could leave a Zero Star rating, I would! I had some very important papers that they said will be delivered withing 2 days since it was an international delivery. £44 later and 5 days after, we went to collect the letter ourselves from the local agent which did not respond to our calls.
I am the receiver of the letter and I was told by Parcelforce that I could not claim a refund unless I was the sender (even though we paid for it to have it sent).
Our local Post Office has deliveries on Saturdays costing a few cents to have it sent and the Parcelforce agents, don't. How convenient!
At all cost, please do not use this service. Try DHL or UPS. They're the best!”
“Paid £100 to deliver two letters to Hong Kong. Parcelforce decided to deliver neither, one lost in the UK, the other left the UK but never arrived in HK..
Upon investigating the company this seems to be a common practice. If you want your parcel to arrive don't use this company.
How are they still allowed to operate?”
“Paidscrewfix£10 Saturday delivery didn't turn up ,no card ,,bet he could find his way to the pub!No good at postcodes, what a joke.screwed by parcel farce!”
“Where to start? We've had parcels dumped in the street, just outside the gate. We've waited in day after day for deliveries which haven't arrived. We've had notifications that they've tried to deliver when we've been waiting at home for them all day. We've had parcels take over a week to deliver. Writing to them is no good - they reply defensively and unhelpfully. Ringing them ditto - they take the phone number and never call back. I've got to the point of asking online providers whether they use Parcel Farce and if they do, telling them why I won't be ordering from them.”
“Pathetic service . On several occasions have received failed delivery text messages without a failed delivery note at the door , which is of cause when we are at home . Had a similar experience this morning when were expecting the delivery , and again got a failed delivery text message but no failed delivery note as several times before . So rang the local office spoke to customer services said the driver claimed he came to the door but did not get a response which is magical as we were all in, eventually spoke to manager who got the item delivered within 15 minutes. The delivery Driver could not be bothered coming up the drive to deliver the item which weighed probably 2 kg or less . The customer services staff first tried to buck the responsibility when asked for accountability continue to do the same, however the manager was excellent responded immediately delivery was made straight away. Shame on Parcelforce when we pay you your fees that we have to go through this lengthy process to get exactly what you are charging us for in the first place. Eventually that I will delivered claimed that his friend had go to our neighbours door which was a bit of a yarn . Demonstration of their incompetence if a delivery guy can't deliver to an address mentioned on the parcel what more can we say .”
“We were informed that our claim for compensation had been rejected! This is preposterous! Absolutely neglectful and beyond belief for such a large company as PARCELFORCE WORLDWIDE would take such a negative stance.
We are artists. Our screen-print the company damaged through it's negligence was adequately packed with 4 layers of double skinned corrugated cardboard, paper and tape. (Contrary to your letter, the print had an internal layer of cardboard packaging). The parcel was clearly marked "FRAGILE". Anyone can clearly see the parcel was well packed but neglectfully carried by your company. It is plain to see our parcel was pierced by a sharp metal object!! We would have needed to use a heavy wooden crate to withstand such force! This was borne out by the recipient's report.
The parcel was also insured for £300 against damage as part of the contract we made with the company. We note that the damage and the parcel has not been inspected by any representative from ParcelForce. We have not only lost a very important print from our limited edition of 24 prints and had to replace it with another. Then pay for more shipping and insurance. Waste hours of time communicating with the company through it's extensive and detailed website. Then repeat the same information on paper through the post. Photograph everything for the company's inspection, etc, etc.
ParcelForce system of investigating this claim puts all the onus on the customer while the company sits back and casually rips us off completely! Clearly, ParcelForce does not care about it's customers or the safety of the goods carried but clearly do care about the money - well so do we.
ParcelForce is negligent and has such a supercilious approach to it's customer relations! We have appealed against the decision and claim the compensation of £300 we insured the item for.
Btw. Our gallery confirms the market value of the print is £500.”
“A car accessory was bought by myself and sent by Parcelforce via signed for delivery. On arrival it was obvious that the parcel had been opened and the contents stolen. I am currently £200 out of pocket due to their bent employees. I have applied for compensation but here we are- two months later. I will never, ever use them again.”
“I do not recommend to use parcelforce to anybody!
I have purchased a pair of trainers from office.co.uk and paid extra money for the next day delivery because I needed them for a specific date (today 15.04.17). Not only the driver did not deliver the parcel, he or she was not familiar with the delivery address which happens to be my boyfriend work place (a London overground station, now you tell me what the driver needed to be familiar with). I called the first time right after seeing that there were "address issues" and the customer service told me that she will contacted the driver to make him or her turn back and deliver the parcel. At this point I was upset but I had a little hope my parcel was going to get delivered in the next few hours. The moment I saw that the parcel was not only delivered but brought back at the local depot I was fuming. I called back the customer service and after a loooooong wait I got to speak with an advisor who apologised saying that the depot was closed now and that I will receive my parcel in 4 DAYS because of the bank holiday. This is the last time I do shopping online, I will never ever again give money to people who are not able to do their job.”
