“If I could put 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE PARCEL FORCE. Absolutely disgusted with the service I have received. On Tuesday I arranged a parcel re delivery (which is my sonโs birthday present). The redelivery day was for Wednesday. After waiting in all day as no time frame was specified I called the customer service number at 5pm to confirm delivery. After a 41 minute call I spoke to a lady who stated the parcel had not been sent out for delivery and after explaining I needed it for Friday she assured me she would escalate it to ensure I received it today. At 15.29 today I made a call to track the package, a 25 minute call where AGAIN I was advised the package wasnโt out for delivery. AGAIN I was told it would be escalated and I would receive a call within an hour and half. I called back at 17.00, a 41 minute call to be told that the previous advisor hadnโt processed the earlier request as a priority and on the system there was a depot request to find my order. Called back at 18.14, 46 minute phone call and still could not give me any information or whether my parcel had been located or more importantly whether I would have it for tomorrow for my sons birthday. As it was an expensive present it is the only one I have bought for my sons birthday and now I have had to borrow ยฃ500 to buy a present that is similar as the one I purchased is no longer in stock. Either way my son is not going to have a present to open on his birthday as todayโs purchase will not be delivered till earliest Monday. 2 days after his birthday. Abysmal customer service, only thing they are 5 stars on is their negligence and incompetence to provide a service they are paid to deliver (along with parcels)!!! Complete cowboys”
“I was waiting on a parcel to be delivered to my address, and suddenly during the given time frame the website updates saying that the driver attempted a delivery but no one was in. I was in!!! No ringing at the bell, no phone calls or messages, no cards left to explain what happened. I called and stayed on the line for 25 minutes, but no one answered. Same thing happened the day after, this time after 20 minutes someone picks up and I'm told that: "the driver was there (he wasn't, because I was at the door and no one came by); No I can't ask him to pass back nor leave the parcel at the local post office (why?? you have that option on the website); if you want it re-delivered on Saturday, when you don't work (mind that it's the second day in a row I'm home from work waiting for the parcel), then it will cost you ยฃ12 (are you serious? Why should I pay for your fault?)." UNBELIEVABLE. I will need to take 2 trains to go get it myself from the f*** depot on Saturday because I can't trust a 3rd re-delivery.”
“Absolute trash. I was supposed to have a delivery from a an online seller who use this courier. It was sent to arrive within 3 days. It's been over 2 weeks now and these absolute useless morons will not provide a proper update. Not only is the tracking useless but when prompted they said they would deliver it tomorrow. It wasn't, and via the seller contacting them, we were told because the item is 15kg it will take two people to deliver it, it will be done this week. Again, it wasn't. Another week has passed. I called them and got circled in machine answers for 10 minutes only to be told after "Sorry, it seems we can't help you" and terminated the call. So I went to the live chat on the website and the person - although polite - was entirely useless and unable to even access the information properly. They just referred me to the phone number I previously called.
I have never been more irritated and trapped by a service before. This is utter insanity. Look at their reviews, 0 stars everywhere. Absolutely deservedly. I hope this company shuts down.”

Customer service is awful, and service follows it. I thought Evri was terrible, but honestly, after my experience with Parcelforce, I'd rather choose Evri. Shocking service!!!”
“Absolutely useless company. I ordered some expensive art from the Netherlands and followed the tracking number. Fine until it got to Parcelforce. It then seemed to sit in the Rotherham depot for ages and so eventually I managed to get through. They said a customs payment needed paying. Fine, I paid it over the phone and then waited patiently. Three weeks later, it was still sitting in the Rotherham depot - showing allocated for delivery. I couldnโt get through via phone and so messaged via the site. I got a reply saying the parcel had been lost and to follow up with the sender to raise it with who they sent it with! Confused. If the parcel never arrived then why did I have to pay a customs charge (which wasnโt cheap) and why does the tracking number say itโs in Rotherham still. Absolutely gutted. A real shambles and and they seem to be rip off merchants. No sign of my unnecessary customs payment being refunded either. The artwork is irreplaceable. Thieves and liars. Donโt use if you value your customers. I hope they go out of business.”

Absolutely furious! Took the day off work on Friday to receive a 'guaranteed next day before 12' parcel that my son and myself were relying on for the bank holiday weekend. It got sent to the wrong depot, fair enough, but would have expected them to get it out the next day to rectify their mistake. They haven't, so i need to wait a further 5 days until next week now. I have lost my plans for the weekend and took a day off work on Friday to make sure i was in to receive it.
Incompetent, useless, arrogant, uncaring company. If we treat customers like this at work we'd go out of business, but the mighty parcelforces' attitude seems to be "we have your money now pal and will deliver when we can be bothered, what you gonna do about it!?"

“Joke of a service, happy to take your money and then not actually deliver the parcel. Paid for guaranteed next day due to time sensitive product, and its didnt turn up.
Online it showing as at the 'Hub'. Spent 45 mins on hold to be told it was delayed - and they could try and deliver it the next day. No care about the impact on our business or their failure to provide the service we paid for, no reason for the delay or care on their part.
Told we could claim the cost of the postage back online, which is another 15 mins process, but no ability to claim the time and costs of redoing the process and sending again

“This is a company I will not use again - I had a very bad experience.
I posted a letter via the 'next day delivery service' on a Friday, which arrived in the following week on a Thursday - nearly a week! This service costed 47.45ยฃ.
After the letter did not arrive on the Tuesday I sent the information via the normal post, which arrived on the Thursday as well. The normal post was quicker.
The customer service from Parcelforce wrote long emails, but did not give me any refund even though I sent all the necessary receipts. Their excuse is the following:
"I must advise that on this occasion, your claim for delay has been declined. This is due to a suspension of guarantee being in place on the service used.
Our delivery speed guarantees do not apply when situations arise which are outside of the control of Parcelforce Worldwide. This includes (but is not limited to) fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of God, terrorism, war or from any industrial dispute.
When our service guarantee is suspended for any reason noted above, compensation is not available for any delayed items."
I still wonder which of the above happen to my letter, which I sent via Parcelforce and made the 'next-day-delivery-service' to a 6 days long journey from England to Germany - the 'Act of God'?”
“Absolute worst company ever for delivering parcels. Returns to depot each time, no phonecall or email, nothing. No one on the other end of the phone either and emails keep direction me to phone numbers that are automated and want to charge me for new deliveries. Just a mess.”

“ParcelForce is inherently flawed. Minimal understanding of Customer Service, Reliability or Good Practice. The Senior Management do not have a handle on what their distribution depots do - which is generally what suits them and not the customer. The service is pitifully erratic.”
“Tracking said delivery would be between 10:51 and 11:51. I waited in all day but no delivery, eventually the site said the package had been returned to the depot. It suggested that delivery might have been attempted, or the driver could not find the address. Absolute rubbish!
